This place was a must-stop! Absolutely incredible burgers, very friendly service, good fries and shakes

If you are looking for a great standard cheese burger, this is the spot. All the ingredients tasted fresh and the burger was cooked perfect. The fries were really good too. The service was friendly and the food came out in a reasonable time and hot. Check them out if you're in the Bigfork area and craving a burger.

My wife heard about this place through a writer (John Acuff) who raved about the burgers here. We pulled up to Burgertown on our way to Columbia Falls, and found a place with great atmosphere and the feel of a hidden gem. We got there around 5:00 on a Friday, and it was already busy. They told us it would be about 20-25 minutes to get our food which was totally fine because we were just enjoying being there. We got the chili burger, fries, onion rings, milkshakes, root beer float (with extra root beer) mushroom Swiss grilled chicken sandwich and cheeseburgers. All the food was good. The onion rings were especially delicious. The bathroom is around back of the building. They have a water cooler with cups on the side of the building. Some seating inside with picnic tables around the building. Need to check this place out. Very cool, and near Flathead Lake.

When staying in Bigfork/flathead lake we arrived in time for lunch. This place was in walking distance from the place we were staying and figured we'd give it a try. There were many people in line which is always a good sign. The menu is pretty basic and easy to select. I got a hamburger and fries... it reminded me of a good old cheese burger from an outdoor bbq.

The service was amazing. They were so swamped but extremely patient and polite. They even had free water cups on the side of the building. The BBQ burger was tasty and the fries were perfectly between crunchy and soft. This is a great spot to stop for food and to enjoy the outdoors by sitting on one of their many outdoor picnic tables.

We came here because we wanted our after dinner treat before heading over the Bigfork summer playhouse (aside: it's amazing! We saw Footloose, and our daughter who normally falls asleep since these events are so late, stayed up riveted the whole time). There was a long line and it did not move quickly and service was not particularly friendly. To the reviewer who said the following comment, you get a gold medal: "Montana's SMALLEST scoop of ice cream." You are CORRECT. The portion is freaking tiny. Our daughter got some gross cotton candy flavor that we can't abide, but we went for a huckleberry cup and huckleberry milkshake. The ice cream itself had huckleberries that were so frozen that they crunched unpleasantly--like they had been added from a freezer bag. The milkshake, on the other hand, tasted like pure vanilla because the proportions were all off. Bottom line is that the people have spoken and this place sucks! Two stars. No thank you.

It would normally have grapefruit vodka in it, but I'm not a fan of vodka or any of its flavoring. The kind bartender substituted the alcohol to gin with a splash of grapefruit at no extra charge. I believe the bartender is the owner as it seemed to be a one man show. The same guy was our server, a bus boy, bartender, and our host! He was probably the cook too! Talk about wearing many hats! I ordered the golden and red beets with goat cheese for $12 and this came to the table looking like a colorful masterpiece. Every bite was delicious. The huckleberry creme brûlée was great! The huckleberries are hiding at the bottom of the ramiken. I'm a tourist and was on a mission to eat everything huckleberry and this dessert did not disappoint! It's a must try! My boyfriend ordered the wild mushroom crepe $16 which was roasted wild mushrooms, prosciutto and swiss cheese with mornay sauce. I thought the crepe was a little undercooked, but he absolutely loved it. I also thought it was a bit salty for my taste, but the mushrooms were tasty! I ordered the $16 grilled salmon and andouille sausage over spinach with tomatoes, fresh orange and red onion. I never heard of these two proteins together, but they make a dynamic duo! I'd like to say it's a warm salad and it was so good! The charred salmon was the star of this dish!

When we arrived we were seated fairly quickly and attended too pretty frequently but not overly done. For Flathead I had their Centennial IPA which I really liked a lot. I can get burned out on IPA'S pretty easily as they are everywhere but this summer (summer of 2025) I have had a hankering for IPA'S off and on. The Centennial proves to be a refreshing one for me the few times I have had it and firs the bill quite well for that occasional IPA hankering I've been having. Flavor highlights in this beer are hoppy, malty, floral and sweet (naturally sweet tasting). It's a very well balanced IPA with these features. The beer is also smooth in body. I look forward to returning as Steve and I are bound to pass through the area again but more for the purpose of sightseeing on that trip.
