Place is okay for day to day things like blizzards, cones, etc. Do not trust them to make a cake for you, though, especially for a special event. You can't tell when you pick it up that it was messed up. By the time you pull it out of the freezer for your party and cut into it, it is too late. I tried to reach them about it many, many times. Handed the incorrect order and then sat for another 15 minutes with no workers as they all went to the front dining room. Horrible service. Very unfriendly. We had to go and ask twice for our shake that took 20 minutes to make. One of the blizzards was melted when we received it and they didn't even flip it upside down. I still love their Butterfinger Blizzard. It's just as good as it ever was. The Vanilla Malts, here, are so good!!!!! Chicken strips, yes please. And better, with white gravy and fries. Worst drive-through experience ever! Got there a little bit before 930 and was completely ignored by the drive-through ordering staff. No one came on the speaker to say that it was closed so we waited in the line of cars for 30 minutes and finally reached the drive-through window where fuzzy haired Dustin from Stanger Things- look- alike-guy inside was drinking a giant shake and stared at us through the drive-through window laughed and then resumed his conversation with staff inside! No one ever came to the window/or drive through speaker to say that they were closed or not taking any more orders. A complete waste of time and total disregard for customers. Let it be known, this DQ does not serve Orange Julius products. I ordered a banana split and it came with no banana! That's more than half the point. My child's cherry-dipped cone fell apart in her lap just seconds after the first lick. And the employees were not wearing gloves- they did have on masks, but the cashier repeatedly removed his. I have refrained from doing a review about the last 4 soupy blizzards that they overfill and put a lid on only to explode all over the car if you take it off, but last night was the last straw. I was next in line to place my order, no customers behind me when I was approached by an employee who told me they quit serving at 9:30p, sorry and have a nice evening. It was 9:34p and I had been waiting for a few minutes. Annoyed but understood and went to Harvest Groceries to buy dinner instead. Drove back by DQ on my way home at 9:45p only to see the car I was behind, and the Jeep that was in front of it, at the pick up window and 4 other cars that had shown up after me and obviously ordered, behind them waiting for pick up as well. I was kicked out of line and they served at least 4 more customers after I was sent packing. I have been to multiple DQ's in several states and have had no complaints but I am very disappointed in the customer service of my local DQ. Parents take note...We are visiting the gorgeous Big Fork for a week and our son just celebrated his 7th birthday here. We ordered him a "Bear Dung Huckleberry Blizzard Ice Cream Cake". Let me tell you, this cake will knock any 7 year olds' socks off and he'll remember it for years to come as the coolest cake ever. (The adults didn't have a hard time shoveling it down either.) The yummy blend of huckleberries and chocolate chips are a wonderful complement to each other. The staff was super friendly and the actual DQ was more upscale than any we had been to in Colorado. WE got the feeling that this wasn't just any old DQ, but a place for the community to gather and be welcomed. I was also happy with being able to order a healthy salad with grilled chicken. Ok first off I have to say that this is probably the best Dairy Queen in the whole country. My family and I 18 in total came through after a wonderful performance of west side story and I have to say this they served us all up in the quickest fashion possible. After receiving my blizzard I went straight for the flip and to my non surprise what did I see? A completely frozen deliciously flavored ice snack remaining intact. If you prefer your ice cream with a side of one hour wait, the Bigfork Dairy Queen is definitely the place for you to get a snack. Especially enjoyable are the bonus dirty counters, toilet paperless bathrooms, peed on toilet seats, ground in dirt floors, and did I mention the 58 minutes that passed between our ordering and our receiving our ice cream. My cousin particularly enjoyed the cheesecake in her blizzard they was well past its time and made her dessert taste like an old pair of well worn Nikes. A creative substitution was made and my brother-in-law was perhaps the first person ever to get to try it a Peanut Buster Parfait made with runny chocolate syrup instead of hot fudge. But never fear, my family felt so safe when they repeatedly locked the main exit doors with us still inside. The staff was new, and absolutely none of this was the main staff's problem. However, the manager had the cook on the order computer, and other staff doing jobs they were unfamiliar with it. They were new, trying hard, and as embarrassed as the manager ought to have been. I think they need to stop cycling through employees so often because it seems it's always a new face at the drive-thru and half of the teens they hire are really rude and don't know what customer service is. This place sucks bad. These people raise the price of the ice cream products around September they say because business slows down then. Well, it's the end of May and they have plenty of business and still jacked up prices. They charge $1 for gravy with the 6 piece chicken strip basket when every other DQ I've ever been to gives 2 free gravies with a 6 piece chicken strip basket. They are also now charging for pup cones that are not really served in a cone but a cheap cup that they now expect customers to pay for when the dogs always got free ones. The worker said they're charging because they have to pay for the materials. Well now you lost my business and I hope others follow suit. The only reason I ever went here was that it has a drive-through but those days are over. We raced back to Bigfork and got to the Dairy Queen with less than 5 minutes to spare before they closed. We are gluten free so had to order everything without buns, and they were incredibly friendly and accommodating considering we were their last customers. This is quite possibly THE WORST DAIRY QUEEN on the planet! Just went, waited 30 minutes in line. Granted there's a pandemic, so I could care less about the wait. But, when it's your first treat after a month of "sheltering in place" and you order a double cheese burger and they give you a Grilled Burger with cheese, that has tomatoes, and lettuce, and onions. Which is not what you ordered. So you say, to the driver through employee (mind you, who gets paid to be there), " Since when does the double cheese burger come with lettuce, onion and tomato"? And, she replies, with the most complacent, smug, condescending look and attitude, "I don't know, I never eaten one. I don't know what's on the double cheeseburger"! Think, the worst possible teenager attitude ever! Then she shuts the window and I can see her telling her coworker, they both look at the drive through window at me and roll there eyes. If I could give this rating -50 stars right now I would. It's not like the Bigfork Dairy Queen has ever been great. But, when you get treated like that by a lackluster teenager in times like these, when you have not been out for, four weeks.
