The staff is friendly and the food is always good. We also love the $7 meal because it's perfect for a quick dinner and it also comes with a sundae. So great value and the quality has really improved in the last year or so! read more

Every time I go there I'm always disappointed, Wether it's the blizzards that aren't mixed at all or the rotten bananas. Things are too expensive to not have better quality sweet treats. If there were other places close by I'd go there instead. read more

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Rotten bananas - Burgers Near Me - Bigfork, Montana

They are always quick and friendly. The food is what you expect from DQ, so no complaints there, and they still have some inexpensive deals.

The order taker yelled at me and had a solid zero patients. Also 2 weeks back my girlfriend found a hair in her food *probably a beard hair*. The place gives bad vibes read more

Pkace is a joke. Everyone just wishes the crappy owners would just let it die off & sell to someone who actually gives a sh*t about our small town. Soda machines are always "broken". Can't ever make cheese curds because of one ridiculous excuse or another. Takes FOREVER to get a simple kids meal. Employees can't get orders right. No one working there ever seems to know wtf they're doing. No matter what the reviews say the owners just say "oh we're so sorry & appreciate your feedback". NO YOU DONT.... Because nothing ever changes. You just don't want DQ corporate to pull your franchise license. read more

When we got there The lady was nice She said she would be right with us. And another person came and took our order we got all of our food within 10 minutes. Great service I would recommend read more

Great deal, $7 for a cheeseburger and fries plus all you can drink soda and a small Sunday ice cream. Friendly greeting when I entered.

Place is okay for day to day things like blizzards, cones, etc. Do not trust them to make a cake for you, though, especially for a special event. You can't tell when you pick it up that it was messed up. By the time you pull it out of the freezer for your party and cut into it, it is too late. I tried to reach them about it many, many times. They don't answer their phone and don't have voice mail set up. read more

Pulled up at 5:44pm on a Sunday. There was a line for the drive through and two cars ahead of me one of the workers taped a sign on the drive through that said "sorry we are closed". read more

Wish I could give zero stars. Super pregnant and wanted a meal to take home- I waited in like for over 15 minutes to get to the order post and they tell me they are closed!!! It was not 8:00 and there were three cars behind me. Terrible customer service. read more

Trip to get a few chicken strips and a blizzard took over 40 minutes. 25 minutes sitting at the window watching the workers screw around and throw things at each other. Handed the incorrect order and then sat for another 15 minutes with no workers as they all went to the front dining room. Sign on the dining room said closed due to understaffing but we saw 6 different workers walk by. read more

Horrible place they wanna charge you for ranch when there soda machines don't work that's some bs people aren't nice not recommended I'd rather drive 15 to 30 more minutes to Kalispell to get the right correct service never can get orders right feels like they just throw people in there not knowing what the heck to do no training or anything extremely run down service is horrible seriously don't go there they need to plow all them peeps out refresh the building and put a raising canes or Chick-fil-A not worth it people I'm serious read more

Lacking in customer service. Waited 20 minutes for a blizzard and only one car ahead of us. Blizzard - only top 1/3 was mixed, plain vanilla otherwise. Not impressed read more

Horrible service. Very unfriendly. We had to go and ask twice for our shake that took 20 minutes to make. One of the blizzards was melted when we received it and they didn't even flip it upside down. Their menu said if it did not flip up upside down they would make another one. We kindly asked they refused to give us one. I would not recommend this Dairy Queen. They were extremely unhelpful and did not do their job. read more

Been here many, many times before and during COVID. Never once have I I been fully satisfied with my meal. Right now, I am currently sitting in the parking lot waiting for my chicken strips. We gave them our money at 5:05, it is now 5:33. On no planet does it take more than 10 minutes to heat up pre-cooked chicken strips. Time and time again I am disappointed by the service. If I could give zero stars, I would. We just walked in and asked them for the food we paid for and waited for patiently, and it was very obvious that they had forgotten about our order all together. We basically reordered the food because they had no idea what our order was. Ridiculous. read more

I still love their Butterfinger Blizzard. It's just as good as it ever was. The Vanilla Malts, here, are so good!!!!! Chicken strips, yes please. And better, with white gravy and fries. I love their fries! Hot dogs are so good with chili. Haven't had one in a while. This location is fast and high quality! read more

this is the most poorly run Dairy Queen I've ever been to. it is either a 30+ minute wait for ice cream if you go through the drive through because they never have people ordering food pull into the parking area to wait or their ice cream machines are broken or their lobby is closed or the entire place is closed. it's a horrible mess inside where they are making food and ice cream. maybe they could get it staffed if they paid better. don't know how they stay in business . read more

Waited in drive through for a good 15 minutes. Did not get all of our order, and burgers were topped with practically raw bacon. Gross and disappointing- so much for a hot quick meal. read more

Worst drive-through experience ever! Got there a little bit before 930 and was completely ignored by the drive-through ordering staff. No one came on the speaker to say that it was closed so we waited in the line of cars for 30 minutes and finally reached the drive-through window where fuzzy haired Dustin from Stanger Things- look- alike-guy inside was drinking a giant shake and stared at us through the drive-through window laughed and then resumed his conversation with staff inside! No one ever came to the window/or drive through speaker to say that they were closed or not taking any more orders. A complete waste of time and total disregard for customers. Oh well, guess that is what Yelp is for...would love to tell the owners that this is how their business is run as this is the second time this is happened. read more

When you're away from home, sometimes you just crave something you are familiar with. For us, it was a trip to the Dairy Queen in Bigfork, MT. Let it be known, this DQ does not serve Orange Julius products. I ordered a banana split and it came with no banana! That's more than half the point. My child's cherry-dipped cone fell apart in her lap just seconds after the first lick. And the employees were not wearing gloves- they did have on masks, but the cashier repeatedly removed his. He also handled my husbands phone to get a coupon code off of it. We come from a hot spot state and wish COVID was taken a little more seriously here. read more

This place is garbage. 20+ minutes wait for a Julius?! Simply unacceptable. Several folks received their meals after our group ordered. This place is disgracing the DQ standard! read more

Waited 25 minutes for a blizzard and a small ice cream cone. Half assed the blizzard. Wasn't completely blended. Need to train their employees. They were completely frazzled. read more

I get good service most of the time, but today I ran into a manager who was unmovable in giving me service. All I wanted to do was pay to add an extra topping to one of their specials and she said it was not in her policy to be able to do that. I'm trying to give them money for product and they refused to put strawberry topping on my kids twist cone in a cup. strange read more

This is a summer ritual! The only drive thru in town so it's very popular! Employees are always smiling and doing there best with the masses of people that come through daily! Who isn't happy to get an ice cream treat at DQ on lake in the summer! Get there before 10pm! read more

I have refrained from doing a review about the last 4 soupy blizzards that they overfill and put a lid on only to explode all over the car if you take it off, but last night was the last straw. I was next in line to place my order, no customers behind me when I was approached by an employee who told me they quit serving at 9:30p, sorry and have a nice evening. It was 9:34p and I had been waiting for a few minutes. Annoyed but understood and went to Harvest Groceries to buy dinner instead. Drove back by DQ on my way home at 9:45p only to see the car I was behind, and the Jeep that was in front of it, at the pick up window and 4 other cars that had shown up after me and obviously ordered, behind them waiting for pick up as well. I was kicked out of line and they served at least 4 more customers after I was sent packing. I have been to multiple DQ's in several states and have had no complaints but I am very disappointed in the customer service of my local DQ. I would not have gone here so many times if they weren't literally the only drive through in town. read more

Parents take note...We are visiting the gorgeous Big Fork for a week and our son just celebrated his 7th birthday here. We ordered him a "Bear Dung Huckleberry Blizzard Ice Cream Cake". Let me tell you, this cake will knock any 7 year olds' socks off and he'll remember it for years to come as the coolest cake ever. (The adults didn't have a hard time shoveling it down either.) The yummy blend of huckleberries and chocolate chips are a wonderful complement to each other. The staff was super friendly and the actual DQ was more upscale than any we had been to in Colorado. WE got the feeling that this wasn't just any old DQ, but a place for the community to gather and be welcomed. I was also happy with being able to order a healthy salad with grilled chicken. We'll definitely be back. read more

Ok first off I have to say that this is probably the best Dairy Queen in the whole country. My family and I 18 in total came through after a wonderful performance of west side story and I have to say this they served us all up in the quickest fashion possible. After receiving my blizzard I went straight for the flip and to my non surprise what did I see? A completely frozen deliciously flavored ice snack remaining intact. I can't sing more praises about this location. God bless this dq and may they give you the quality that they have given my beautiful family. read more

We've lived here almost 3 years now and frequent this Dairy Queen at least once a month. I'd say over these past few years it's been average. I think they need to stop cycling through employees so often because it seems it's always a new face at the drive-thru and half of the teens they hire are really rude and don't know what customer service is. On the good side, the other half of the time the teens are really nice and polite. I don't understand why they don't KEEP the nice, polite ones... read more

Yeah so it was a not-so-busy-day at all and me and my buddy went in to get a couple blizzards. A few more groups of people came in after us and were given their orders before we got our small blizzards. Then we went to the entrance with 10 other people who were all waiting on orders for 30 minutes and finally I got mine. 15 minutes later and my friend finally gets his. I was here right after doing my Spartan Beast race, and the food tasted like ambrosia descended from Mt Olympus. Also, being able to feel warm water from the bathroom after that was wonderful too, but since I'm biased due to circumstance, the main reason for the review is the stellar service rendered, only issue with it was speed, the employees were quite nice. read more

If you prefer your ice cream with a side of one hour wait, the Bigfork Dairy Queen is definitely the place for you to get a snack. Especially enjoyable are the bonus dirty counters, toilet paperless bathrooms, peed on toilet seats, ground in dirt floors, and did I mention the 58 minutes that passed between our ordering and our receiving our ice cream. My cousin particularly enjoyed the cheesecake in her blizzard they was well past its time and made her dessert taste like an old pair of well worn Nikes. A creative substitution was made and my brother-in-law was perhaps the first person ever to get to try it a Peanut Buster Parfait made with runny chocolate syrup instead of hot fudge. But never fear, my family felt so safe when they repeatedly locked the main exit doors with us still inside. The staff was new, and absolutely none of this was the main staff's problem. However, the manager had the cook on the order computer, and other staff doing jobs they were unfamiliar with it. They were new, trying hard, and as embarrassed as the manager ought to have been. We sincerely felt sorry for the staff. They were doing their best. Management should brush up their resumes. read more

This place sucks bad. These people raise the price of the ice cream products around September they say because business slows down then. Well, it's the end of May and they have plenty of business and still jacked up prices. They charge $1 for gravy with the 6 piece chicken strip basket when every other DQ I've ever been to gives 2 free gravies with a 6 piece chicken strip basket. They are also now charging for pup cones that are not really served in a cone but a cheap cup that they now expect customers to pay for when the dogs always got free ones. The worker said they're charging because they have to pay for the materials. Well now you lost my business and I hope others follow suit. The only reason I ever went here was that it has a drive-through but those days are over. Shove your overpriced ice cream, $1 gravy that's supposed to be free and your pup "cones" that used to be free up your @ss!! read more

Great, friendly crew! This happened on Wednesday, 5/10/2017. We arrived too late to get a meal at the place we were staying at. We raced back to Bigfork and got to the Dairy Queen with less than 5 minutes to spare before they closed. We are gluten free so had to order everything without buns, and they were incredibly friendly and accommodating considering we were their last customers. We just wanted to say thank you to the crew! read more

This is quite possibly THE WORST DAIRY QUEEN on the planet! Just went, waited 30 minutes in line. Granted there's a pandemic, so I could care less about the wait. But, when it's your first treat after a month of "sheltering in place" and you order a double cheese burger and they give you a Grilled Burger with cheese, that has tomatoes, and lettuce, and onions. Which is not what you ordered. So you say, to the driver through employee (mind you, who gets paid to be there), " Since when does the double cheese burger come with lettuce, onion and tomato"? And, she replies, with the most complacent, smug, condescending look and attitude, "I don't know, I never eaten one. I don't know what's on the double cheeseburger"! Think, the worst possible teenager attitude ever! Then she shuts the window and I can see her telling her coworker, they both look at the drive through window at me and roll there eyes. If I could give this rating -50 stars right now I would. It's not like the Bigfork Dairy Queen has ever been great. But, when you get treated like that by a lackluster teenager in times like these, when you have not been out for, four weeks. It's going to be forever and a millennia before I am ever that desperate to go the the BIGFORK DAIRY QUEEN EVER AGAIN! read more
