shown through food! I don't think I've ever seen a happier group of people working at a fast food place! These people are always smiling and maybe it's because they serve such great burgers and fries! We came tonight close to closing time so they were doing lots of closing activities, but they didn't mind us being there at all. Our food was hot and fresh and wonderful. We sat outside at a picnic table with a wonderful breeze on this great fall day. Fabulous.

If you are driving through Paris, Texas, make sure to stop here for the French fries alone. The burgers were fine, but the fries were the real star of the show. I loved the authentic old-time diner vibe at this place. We had to wait for counter seats at lunch since the only other option was outside, and no thanks to that on a 90-degree day. If you can hit it just after the lunch rush at noon, you'll probably be fine. Hubby had the patty melt, which was actually better than the burger. One item on the menu really caught my eye that a local was chowing down on, though I forget the name. It looked like a chicken breast topped with onions or chilis and served with Texas toast. Whatever it was, it looked delicious. But back to the fries. I honestly cannot remember a better batch I've had. They were almost crispy, golden, REAL potato-y, and addictive!!! Also, bonus points for the ample parking that even fit our RV. This place is a true hidden gem. Bathroom wasn;t great, but I was glad they had one!

Get ready to step back in time at this small town burger outpost. Appears to be perineally busy so don't be in a hurry. Trust me,one of the reasons I day tripped here today was specifically to catch a burger smashed and caramelized on this ancient flat top grill. Add the best( I routinely seek these out) hand cut fries I have possibly ever Placed in my mouth and it's approaching burger Nirvana . The Patio is dog friendly and it's a good thing as CowGirl was riding shotgun with me today. She had her fill of burger and fries giving a five paws. Go....now!

Good old fashioned burger, was fresh and was served very quickly. It's a small place but there are tables outside with fans. Can't beat a good burger with melted cheese, servers were friendly and I enjoyed watching the cook getting it done quickly at lunch time. Will definitely go back. Great job ya'll!

Seating about 18 at L-shaped counter, Wed. 1pm was packed w/local workers consuming huge portions of hand-cut fries, heapin' helpin's of chili fries, 1/2 lb specially seasoned burgers and bottomless beverages. Staffed by 4 attentive young ladies it is an exceptional example of a well-organized/run local eatery. Burger was thick & juicy, condiments plentiful, ad bun fresh albeit from a grocery store. Love this vibe, this food, the staff - a super cool and tasty diner.

Absolutely fantastic burgers, unique burger salads and the most amazing fries! Believe me; you only need one order. The service is friendly and efficient. Have heard about this place for a while, but haven't been through Paris to try it. It definitely lived up to the hype. The burger is just an old school, seared flat top style burger with the traditional toppings on a toasted bun, but they come together in such a great way! And the fries are awesome! OMG So ok. I've been passing this place for 19 YEARS!!! No joke!! I FINALLY got to stop as I had time, and it wasn't busy for the first time in forever. Very simple menu, but it's the kind of burger that Tums was made for. If juice isn't dripping down your arms, then you must have got the chili. Which I need to try next time I stop. Oh there will be a next time. They will grill the onions if you like. Crushed ice in my Coke. Lunch counter bar, so if you're claustrophobic then eat outside; get it to go; whatever. Just STOP. Go in and order your fave burger. Oh and you'll want to bring a friend, spouse, kid, dog, cat, or just get your order of fries to go. They don't skimp!! BURGERLAND! I need a shirt. read more

Outstanding burger place! This was our first visit but it'll be a staple going forward. Just a little off the main path but it's well worth it. Great burgers and very friendly people there. The small fries are huge!!! We split them 3 people each. You have to try it. read more

If you like grease dripping off your elbows while you eat an awesome cheeseburger, then you'll absolutely LOVE BurgerLand! This quaint little gem of a place is a truly amazing place to eat. The L shaped counter allows you to watch the cook prepare your burger while you enjoy an ice cold tea or soft drink! The fresh cut fries are fried and seasoned with a unique blend of spices and they pack them in on each order. If you leave BurgerLand hungry after ordering a burger and fries, then something is seriously wrong! read more

Yelped the area and decided on this burger place. Their meat is fresh and serving sizes are large. Try the patty melt w/extra cheese... to die for. Their regular burgers are great too. I also had their chili cheese dog the next day for lunch great chili taste and the hot dog had great snap. Great value for your dollar. Staff was excellent. Thanks Blair, Brittany, Chelsee, Bailey and Matt on the grill.....you guys ROCK! read more

This is certianly a great burger joint. I would say if your in the area, this is a must experience. Very deserving of every good review. I will however have to concede that while very close in quality, they still come in second to Effie's Tavern in Lewiston Idaho. I travel the country and make it a point to try the local fare every chance I get. You probably would say I give myself too much cred but this is the real deal and a "don't miss" spot. read more

We ate here for a late lunch on our road trip. Around 2 pm, the place was hoppin' even at that time. I had their burger with cheese, mustard, onions, lettuce, and tomato and my husband had just a plain burger, nothing on it. Delicious!! Fresh made, great burgers. We also had a small fry, which was large enough to split. Staff was very friendly and gave great service. Someone always stopped to check if our drinks needed filling. If you're in the area and want a good burger, stop here!! Not a very big place, just a bar to sit up at. Seating is very limited. read more

Whole cut tatters, greasy patties, toasted buns, and veggies cut that morning. Definitely the best burger you'll ever have. I got the patty melt. It was hot and so tasty. I also got the small fry and when they served it to me, I thought they made a mistake it was so huge. I'm in town visiting from North Carolina and this place has the best burgers I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. I'm not even a burger-lover but man, I'd visit this place at least once every week if I lived here. I got the quad burger (so 4 patties) and the meat they use definitely has good quality. Kudos to the cook because he definitely knows how to grill patties. Plus when we went it got really busy so he can still cook good quality burgers under pressure. So definitely go if you're ever in town - even if you're just passing by. OH and pro-tip: the "small fries" is not really small! It's enough for 2-3 people. Large is enough for probably 5+ read more

The place is small and has counter seating only inside. Outside there are picnic tables. The hamburgers and cheeseburgers are awesome and the fries are to die for. Be hungry as one order will feed two people easily. Other menu items are very good as well. read more

Awesome dive burger joint, and I mean that has a high compliment! Seating is very limited, being mainly stools along the counter across from the food prep area, so you might want to visit during off-peak times. We were there on a Saturday afternoon around 2 and it was still busy. The kid maning the flat top was wonderful to watch as he cooked up the burgers and other fair. We had cheeseburgers and split an order of fries, which was still more than we could finish. Everything was delicious. If you are stuffy/finicky you won't dig it, but that just means there will be more for ME! :) read more

I've been coming here for years, and it's hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. This place is small, kinda old-school, but that just adds to the charm. Inside, it's bar-style seating, and outside, there are picnic tables. Super casual, nothing fancy, just amazing food. The burgers are killer, and the fries? Even a small order is huge, easily enough for two or three people to share. Some of my best memories are grabbing lunch here with friends, just hanging out and enjoying a great meal. Great burger! Just what I was hoping for at a little "hole in the wall" local joint. Service was exceptional and they do not let your drink go empty. Their cook is a "machine". Guy never stopped the entire time we were there. You know the place is a hit when the crowd is lined up outside in 95 degree heat. They do give you way too many fries. Couldn't begin to eat them all. We hit it around 11 and the crowd quickly grew to Standing Room Only. If I am in Paris again it's a redux for sure. read more

Such a quaint little old fashioned burger joint. Very friendly staff. The menu is small(which can be a sign of good burger joint - i.e. In-N-Out, Fatburger). The burgers are good, nothing to rave extensively about, but good. The fries are good as well. The prices aren't bad either. If you find yourself on this side of Paris, Texas with a hankering for hamburgers, don't hesitate to check this place out. read more

Great Old Fashioned Hamburgers, simple, fast service, nothing fancy, big portions, great taste. Hours have changed Saturday closed at 4 pm and closed all day Sunday. read more
