$7.00 Chocolate croissant definitely not worth the price

Hubby and I thought we would stop here after lunch to get dessert, but were unfortunately disappointed in the lack of goodies in the display. We opted to share a chocolate croissant that cost over $7.00. The croissant was ok and not warmed, but not worth $7.00. The young ladies were pre-occupied with their phones, that the service was mediocre.

So glad we stopped by Paris bakery on our roadtrip. The banana bread was so delicious. Key lime was so tasty. They are very thoughtful with some masks hang inside behind the front door. In case you forgot your masks. The ladies work there were very nice and friendly. My watermelon salad was so good. Refreshments for a hot day. Must check out this place again when in town. Hope my next time will be virus free. So I can enjoy dine-in.

Had to drive all the way to Paris the other day and was bummed because there weren't any obvious places to eat around the courthouse. But then I ran into this place. GREAT LUNCH SPOT! I didn't have much time on my hands but they had a lunch special (1/2 sandwich + cup of soup) that came out in like 30 seconds, seriously. The "soup" was chili . . YUMMY!! It was so good I forget what the sandwich was but it was good too. And WAY under $10! I don't know why anyone would be going to Paris unless you're a lawyer getting his clients out of jail, but if you're up this way, skip Subway and the burger joints and check out this family-run business!!

Cranberry tart, cowboy cookie, gingerbread cookie, and Addison blend coffee

My friend and I were driving through Paris, Texas and were craving a cup of coffee and sweet treats. We were delighted to find the quaint Paris Bistro. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas and looked so charming. My friend had the cranberry tart. She ate every crumb and said the shortbread crust was perfection! I had a cowboy cookie and a gingerbread cookie. Both were delicious. When I asked for a coffee selection, the nice lady behind the counter recommended the Addison blend, and it was very good. We took away a bag of butter cookies for the road. Yummy!

This review is specifically referring to Saturday Night Pizza, but Paris Bakery is a great lunch spot as well! As for SNP, it is definitely the best ambiance in Paris on a Saturday evening. Super great Artisan pizza, which is the perfect size to split between two people. Desserts are a MUST, but they vary each Sat. (You can look on FB to find out what they're serving in advance.) If they're serving chocolate brownie mousse, don't even THINK about ordering anything else. Sometimes seating can be an issue, but if the weather is nice the outdoor area makes up the difference. There is also live music most summer nights out back, which makes the experience even better. Super great staff and owners. Even if it's crowded, the experience and food is worth the wait.

I LOVE this place! The service and food were pristine. The restaurant itself was very clean and homey. It has a very artesian feel. I will definitely be back soon!

I went to this bakery at 0715 in the morning. The place is super clean and friendly. It's in an older building near the square, but the place looks new! I had a breakfast sandwich on multigrain bread and coffee. Both were delicious and I'm picky about my coffee. Highly recommend.

A lot of pastry selections, friendly staff, place has seating or just a counter to take to go. Ambience chill.

World's best sourdough bread and bagels. They even wrap their heavenly bakery goods in compostable wrap-- what could be better?

Best donuts in town, such as that may be. I only rarely eat these things as they aren't tasty…read moreenough to offset the damage done to my diet. On the other hand that's also the reason why I usually can't justify downing a second glass of most California wines. But these donuts are quite good: fresh with an open and airy structure and the apple fritter has actual bits of apple, or so it seemed. But there's something odd going on here, not specifically in this shop in Cooper but... Have you ever noticed how many donut shops all around are called "Good Donuts" or is it, as often the case lately: AM I THE ONLY ONE???? Well that's how it is anyway! See, all around the country it's Good Donuts here and Good Donuts there and that's how it is. Open your f'n eyes willya! (Sorry but I can get pretty worked up about things. Yet everybody is always telling me it's only in my head?) So this is just another example and proves my case, but why is it? The other thing I've noticed is that most if not all Good Donuts shops, including this one (and in fact a predominant number of donut shops of all appellations) are owned by Asians. This one is typical both in that regard, and in being very well maintained with excellent product quality, especially the ones with custard filling. So what up wid dat? I think it's related to the tradition of Chinese coffee/bakery shops, which you may recall I've reviewed from every Chinatown in the country. I lived in such neighborhoods in nyc, sf, LA and Philly, in fact they're my go-to for many things. So there you have yet another mystery and one not even my beautiful China girl can explain. What she doesn't do is suggest it's only in my head. Smart, too.

Yes. Cheap, convenient, cashier is super nice, and over all just so good! Definitely recommend. In my…read moreopinion it's the best donut shop in that town!
