I really wanted to like this place and, while I thought it was pretty tasty, the price pretty much scared me off. The burgers are incredibly small but really yummy, so much so, that I ordered a second after I was done with the first. The shakes are fantastic, made from custard if I remember correctly, and the fries are good. The major issue I have is the price which pretty much knocks this place down my list if I have a craving for burgers. The most I can say is to give it a try but be prepared to pay. read more

I really was looking for a delicious juicy burger and chose this restaurant due to the reviews. What a Huge disappointment. I had a single burger fi cheeseburger. It was thin,tasteless and salty. Really salty! I could barely taste the sauce as it was absorbed by the roll. The fries were fantastic and the onion rings just ok. The staff was super friendly. One soda machine was not working due to maintenance yet no one put an out of order sign on it. Why wait in line only to have to move to the other line. To start, they did not have any shakes. I don't know how this can happen. The cashier said they were out of custard? The other thing to mention to parents is there are no chicken fingers for kids - I know it is a burger place but still. I ordered the single burger, from what I could taste of the beef, it was good, there just isn't much of it. The portion size is extremely small. I've been coming to BurgerFi Davie for quite a while now and it has definitely changed over time. A few months ago the food was great sometimes but other times it was not so good. The last few times I have gone the food has consistently been perfect. The manager told me that the store was under new management for the last few weeks and you could really tell. After waiting 15 min for the fries to cook b/c the staff said the fryer was off (they also tried to convince us to not buy fries and instead get the onion rings because they were already made) this was the result..They were not only cooked too fast, but were also EXTREMELY salty. My boyfriend and I tried so hard to scrape the salt off but there was so much that we gave up. Worst part was that we ordered a bucket of fries and couldn't enjoy any of it so it all went to the garbage. Since this order was to go, we called the location to notify our problem but no one answered. Dear General Manager, I wanted to take out the time to thank you for my half of a refund. I also wanted to express how rude and sarcastic you were to me on the phone. I didn't have the energy (or time) to be sarcastic or rude back because I was sick from your restaurant and because that's just not in my nature. The Chicken Avocado BLT was served to us in an unclean condition and rendered both me and my friend sick. There was a fair amount of time you took trying to blame me for my own sickness. There is no one in my entire class that has a stomach virus. There is no one in my family that has a stomach virus. There is no one I've been around that has a stomach virus. There's no one I know that has been sick at all. So you telling me that its "probably a stomach virus going around" is false. I also find it quite strange for me and my friend to have a sudden onset of a stomach virus after eating one of the sandwiches there. You mentioned my symptoms also probably being due to a previous meal but as I said, I had nothing previous to coming to BurgerFi. Me and my friend had the exact same chicken sandwich and experienced the same symptoms. I was worse off than her because she only had two bites of the sandwich. I unfortunately had almost the entire thing. She proceeded to throw her sandwich in the trash at home upon hearing my ordeal and experiencing her own bout of sickness. I just finished a final and came here for the first time upon my friends recommendations and will never be coming back here. You expressed that in all the years you've worked here, there's never been a case of FOOD POISONING. That's great to hear and I'm sorry I had to be the first case reported.This is also the FIRST time you guys are introducing a chicken sandwich. So keep that in mind as well. Restaurants are not perfect and are not 100% clean 100% of the time. I would have felt differently if you expressed SINCERE apologies but you did not. You proceeded to protect the company and tried to go through every single excuse you could think of for it NOT to be food poisoning and that me being sick was of my own accord somehow. Thank you for the sarcastic suggestion to go the doctor to "make sure it was food poisoning". I took that suggestion and visited the doctor and he is sure I had food poisoning. Once I get the results and paperwork in my hand I will be reporting it to Florida Department of Health. And also, thank you also for the sarcastic words, "If it makes you feel better I'll give you the refund for JUST the sandwich." Someone in charge and trying to make a situation right would've just given me the ENTIRE refund. I didn't pay $15 to be ridiculously sick, throwing up, and suffering a fever the entire weekend. I missed several extremely important events that I will never be able to get back. I hope you learn to treat your customers with more respect and more dignity than you treated me. I'm not sure who prepared me and my friends sandwich or who is in control of keeping the food sterile but there was definitely a hiccup with our food. I hope this experience pushes you to be a better manager because in my opinion being a general manager does not mean saving the company's reputation at any cost. Had high hope for this place. The menu looked yummy and I do like burgers and fries. Well, sadly its not all that. Its very expensive for what you get. Today I ordered just a double cheeseburger with onions and sauce and it was nearly 7.00! The burger was small, the tomato and lettuce was tasteless and the cheese was processed cheese food slices and not even melted on the burgers. If you want fries that will set you back about another 4.00! Or, you can get some onions rings for about 5.00 and you get about 5 onion slices. My co worker had a chili dog. It was a mess. Have driven by many times going to Costco so the wife and I decided to try BurgerFi since it seemed always busy. Thinking that was a sign of good eats we were let down. As we walked in we were greeted nicely and after reading the menu I asked at the counter about the burgers. I tried the Brisket burger for $10 ($9.97) and the cry&fry (onion rings and fries) Cajun style ($5.54). So having invested slightly over $15.50 for a burger & fries my expectations were somewhat high. When our order arrived the first thing I noticed was how dark the onion rings and fries were. Not over cooked but from old or incorrectly filtered fry shortening. Both were carrying lots of surface shortening. The burgers were way smaller than I was expecting, especially for the price paid at a walk up service restaurant. My burger was supposed to have blue cheese but the taste didn't indicate its presence even as I was aware it was there. Not the juicy mouth watering experience I was hoping for. The Cajun spice was omitted from my fries and I asked at the counter if they were Cajun and the clerk nicely said no and cooked fresh ones. So I finished my burger without them and munched a few later after he brought them to my table. With my items and my wife's burger and onion rings a Coke and H2O we paid over $31.00. The value for goods didn't deliver. Not "Come Back Flavor". Checked it off my to do list, I'll eat elsewhere. read more

We decided to stop in on Sunday after a busy day of taking the kids to the park, and running errands. My husband had already tried the place, and was very satisfied with his experience. The place was nice and clean, and they had outdoor and indoor seating(we ate inside). I was very happy with the availability of highchairs, and changing tables in the restrooms(as I have 2 small children - you would be surprised at the amount of "family" restaurants that don't offer highchairs or changing tables). They have nice selection of burgers, hot dogs, and other items. They also serve beer and wine, and have one of the new soft drink machines. My husband and I both ordered the cheeseburger, a plain hot dog for my son, and a large fries. Apparently the cashier did not hear me say large fries, or she just forgot to put it in. When our order was up we noticed there was no fries so we checked the receipt and in fact it was not there. The manager came over to ask about the fries and I informed him that I had ordered fries, but it was ok. They were kind of busy so I understood, and I didn't really need them. He asked if I was sure that he could have them out in a couple of minutes, but again I politely declined. We started eating our burgers(which are cool looking as they brand "Burger FI" into the top buns, and very tasty), and the manager reappears with a large fries on the house. How nice of him :) I honestly wasn't upset about the mishap with the fries, but thought it was really nice of the manager to do that. That is what you call customer service, and it's really nice to see! We really enjoyed our burgers, and my son devoured his hot dog. This Burgerfi has the worse service that I have ever received from any Burgerfi. My boyfriend and I went to this location located in the Davie Tower Shops for the free custard day. First the Women's bathroom had no paper towels. There was only one cashier on when we went to order (a young lightskin woman), she was very rude and unenthusiastic. Her welcome was so dry that we couldn't even remember her greeting us. I asked for both burgers well done and she only got one but when I asked her if she got both she said yes with an attitude. The manager gave use vanilla ice cream instead of frozen custard ( We know the difference). My conflicted burger had a burnt veggie patty. Overall this was not a pleasant experience. This was my boyfriends first time at Burgerfi and he says he has no interest in going back and even said that he's never been treated so poorly at 5 guys so he will just continue to go there for great food and great customer service. read more
