Aaron or whoever the manager that was that was preparing the orders for take out or dine should no longer be employed with your company. The "manager" as he claimed to be accused me of trying to take more than what I ordered. I ordered a large fries but proceeded to take out fries as he insisted that I ordered a regular sized portion. When I questioned what he was doing he informed me that I ordered a regular sized portion not a large even though I had receipt. He then insisted to argue with me about my job and my company as I was in uniform. For someone who claims to be a "manager" this is a sad representation for your company and workers. Arguing with a customer is unacceptable, suggesting that they where trying to get steal or get over on the restaurant even with a paid receipt is unfathomable, but worst of all is not admitting your mistake especially with disparaging remarks of "its just fries"... yeah it's fries but I will no longer continue to spend my money here or any other burgerfi... and yes I will post this on Twitter, Google maps, yelp, and Waze. Got the Burgerfi Burger and it was decent. It was not overly greasy so big plus. Got the onion rings to share which were very oily.. didn't finish it. The onion underneath the batter was on the raw side.. not cooked enough for me. My friend ordered a large parmesan fries to share and it was massive. The fries were pretty good, perhaps my favorite out of everything. The service was ok, nothing remarkable. Just order at the counter and then they give you a buzzer for when the food is ready. Seating is available inside and out. Found it weird that their double doors were left open the entire time, so we decided to sit outside which was pretty quiet and felt more private. Yeah, I can't drink the Kool-Aid and go crazy on this place. It's definitely better than any fast-food place, for sure. The service is friendly. They buzz you when your order is ready, and you go up and get it. I like the decor. It's not fast-food depressing or dreary. Everything is clean. The fries are delicious, superior to most places. I took my best friend there for her birthday lunch. Both of us had heard good things so we decided to try it. The burgers were the size of castle burgers. I could not taste much else other than the bun. The "bucket" of parmesan fries were 5.00 and change and they didn't even come in a bucket! They had way too much parmesan cheese on them. Great burgers - well prepared and seasoned patties, good size. Excellent toppings. For me, the buns are a little on the small side, but they *just about* hold up to handling without disintegrating. They also do really good custard here, but unfortunately I hardly ever have room for it after a burger. The fries are also very good - hand cut and not greasy. The onion rings are the super-big, super-light batter variety, which I also like but some others don't. It's a go to the counter and order, then go back when they shout your name out kind of place. The service has become a bit surly of late, and staff members seems to occupy the tables out front during their breaks. The combination of flavors & textures in this burger is unmatched by any I've ever tasted & what keeps me coming back to this cool burger spot. They have a handful of other specialty burgers including a Veggi-Burger & Brisket Burger or have it your way & build your own. Their onion rings are also some of the best I've had and their fries never disappoint either. Whichever you choose you're sure to get a perfect compliment to your burger. To top it all off you can even get a beer or glass of wine to go with at this place, not to mention desert! Too expensive for what you get, the burgers were small with little flavor and our french fries were way too overdone. The place was really busy and whoever designed this too small space did not know what they were doing. The condiment and soda area was way too squished to even move around, right up against 2 tables. The only thing that was good was the frozen custard sampler. Won't be back, will stick with Five Guys. read more

The third Burgerfi location I have been to. Arrived at around 6:00 on Sunday night and it seemed like there were a bunch of employees milling about and yet only 1 register was open. Thankfully they opened another and we waited patiently for food... This was my first time getting a burger, usually I get the Chicago hot dog. Loved the cheeseburger, I added bacon and it was delicious. I'm not a fan of hand cut fries in general so I can't really evaluate them. Dipping them in cheese sauce did make them slightly better. Bonus points for the manager going around to each table asking how everything was and explaining that the beef is grass fed, etc. The site seemed smaller than the Aventura and Hallandale Beach locations we had visited before but it still had the signature indoor/outdoor feel. Boyfriend built his own burger with a fried egg that was ordered over easy that came out over hard which was our only complaint. I'm sure they would have been happy to make a new one but we didn't say anything and he still enjoyed it. We showed up and while the ambience is very nice and laid back, we found this place to be high on price for what was being offered. We both had the BAD (Breakfast All Day) Burger and while it was rather small, it was a good burger and original in flavor and concept, as it should have been because that little burger by itself costs $7.00! When scanning across the menu, we noticed that the cheapest soft drink was a fountain soda for $2.77, and an order of fries costs the same. While the food was good, it was just too overpriced and overhyped for our taste. I am really impressed with this BurgerFi concept. The burgers are really solid and remind me of a Shake Shack burger. I had onion rings as my side and the rings were huge and very tasty. BurgerFi also serves beer and wine which is the trend now for a lot of these newer quick-service burger bars. The décor is modern, very inviting, and very comfortable. I definitely recommend giving BurgerFi a try; it'll cost you more than your standard fast food burger joint, but the food quality is much better and the atmosphere is much more upscale and enjoyable. read more

Nice concept in a burger joint, even if it has been done before (5 Guys). The burgers are good quality and the meat is NOT seasoned so you can actually taste the beef and the toppings. They do have a Burgerfi sauce...get it on the side. It's mayo mixed with 15 herbs. You may or may not like it. I personally like it with the opinion rings. For kids (ages 5-10), a single 1/4 pound is a good size, for adults the regular (which is double patty) works. Nice touch branding the company name on the outside of the buns. The fries are rough cut, skin on, and very tasty but the sizes run big. The smallest order of fries would be good for 2 adults to split or 3-4 kids. The onion rings are HUGE. the small order is 4 rings which is good for 1-2 adults, the large would be good for 3-4 adults. Atmosphere is pleasant. Nice selection of craft beers and an alright selection of wines if you desire. Seriously though, this is a burger joint. Leave the wine for a steak house and get yourself a good beer. All in all, a family of 4 can expect to pay around $30 (alcohol not included). read more

My first visit to burger fi was not what I expected especially since I read great reviews. The food was good even though it wasn't what we ordered. The people behind the counter aren't really focus on what customers are ordering. We got 2 wrong hamburgers order, we send them back & got 2 more wrong orders. We didn't bother sending 2nd set of wrong hamburgers we just kept them. The restaurant was messy the bathroom was messy too. I felt like there was no manager on board just young staff behind the counter on there phones & not taking the job seriously. Yea so I came at 10:20 because the davie burgerfi website and yelp say it closes at 11. I show up and they tell me, my brother and my girlfriend they are closed. If you are closed how come your website says your open for another half hour and your doors are wide open???? Im pretty pissed about it, I have a 5 month old baby so getting over there is no easy task. Im pretty sure the people working lied straight to our faces. Dont know if I want to eat here anymore after this kind of experience. Very disappointed and very insulted. Time to update your website burgerfi or get new employees who dont lie to customers.
