On top of that, there was absolutely no meat on the bone or any marrow inside the bone. It was literally just a bare bone thrown in with the noodles. Even the egg was overcooked and served whole, instead of being cut in half like it is pictured on the menu. Thankfully I ordered a second dish of protein. The Hainanese chicken was supposed to be the star of the show. While the initial bite with the yellow rice was decent, something felt off as I kept eating. It just didn't taste freshly cooked and lacked a real, natural chicken flavor.
