I wish I could give this place four stars, but I can't. The vibe inside is cool, real chill. The service is nonexistent. I came in, and they were pleasant. They sat me down, and when it was time for me to order, someone came over. But every time after that, I had to flag someone down. No one ever came to check if I wanted more drinks or if I had finally decided on an entrée. To me, it's a bit pricey because the burgers can range from $14 to $18, if not more, and fries are not included. You have to order the fries separately. I did see other servers checking in with other guests, but they never made that attempt with me. My two servers were Lakshmi and Karin. Don't get me wrong. They were pleasant!!! BUT they never checked in on me. I'm a big person on service, and I had to just give this place three stars nope actually I gave them two stars, but it really would've been 2.5. My margarita was fine. My Holy Water was good! The service was very lacking. I even have a picture where two servers named chillin' but not one of them came over to say, "Hey, are you okay? Do you want anything else?" if I remember their names, I'm expressing how much I pay attention to service detail. Sometimes the food might not be the greatest, but if Service is great, I'll give it another shot. I decided to wait and see how long it would take without me flagging someone down. Happy hour ends at 7 o'clock. I came in at 5:30, and outside of me flagging a person down one time, it was now 7 o'clock and no one had checked in with me. It has a flagged down a service to pay my bill, but they have noticed if I just walked out? By the way, I would never do that!!! Just making an appoint ‍ It's unfortunate because I'm in the area a lot, but I wouldn't come back, and I can't recommend friends or family to visit just because the service is really non-existent and it's pricey outside of happy hour drinks. The sign says come "taste the difference". They weren't kidding. This burger may have been the best I've ever had. The beef is organic & I must say my beef burger was absolutely amazing. I ordered a topping for it which was a combo of guacamole, roasted red peppers, lettuce, tomato, & special sauce. I was merely expecting an average burger, but this one caught my attention. I also ordered a side of seasoned fries. These fries were amazing in their own way. The Cajun seasoning perfectly dusted each fry & the flavor was awesome. So many seasonings are loaded with salt, but I did not detect that in this one. It was legit flavors from seasonings. And the dipping sauces were excellent. Just two weekends ago, while I was in San Diego, I went to a burger joint called Crazee Burger. Exotic burger meat and fare that you do not normally see. It was okay, but not great. This concept is very similar to that, and the results, coincidentally enough, are roughly identical. Food is not bad, the burgers are creative and the fries there taste fresh and I enjoyed these. Come at me with the fact I do not eat fries much in the United States. Originally I wanted fried pickles but they were a sad excuse for one and asked for fries as a viable alternative. The burgers come with no side. Everything is a la carte. Typical. Nothing is free anymore. I also asked for a peach iced tea and a chocolate milkshake. None of those are notable. The shake is full of ice chips and had to put in some effort to make it work. Thankfully my server took it off the bill. What an amazing spot for a group happy hour, especially as the restaurant is surrounded by overpriced bars in Tribeca. HH runs from Monday to Thursday 3-7pm with specials such as $6 margarita, $5 draft beer and other drink discounts. Our server, Diana, was really friendly and constantly check-in on our group of 11 with prompt services on drinks. We also ordered bunch of appetizers to share - the wings were delicious with unlimited sauces, the waffle fries and cauliflower tenders were fan favorite as well. The ambiance of this place is chill and welcoming. Love all the decor and the option to watch a game while eating ;-). We ordered burgers all around and fries. Some orders the bison burger, others the regular burger and my self the turkey burger. everyone LOVED their choice!! For the bread lovers in the house the review was off the charts for the bread and juiciness of the meat!! The walk was super easy from the 911 memorial as well as subway access. I came here with coworkers and I was not impressed. I ordered chips and guacamole and the chips needed salt. The guacamole to chips ratio doesn't make sense either. I know this place has mixed reviews, but I think Burger Village is good for vegan burgers. I ordered the impossible burger with the "Garden Grub" toppings which includes lettuce, tomato, vegan cheese, mushroom, onions, and the spicy vegannaise sauce. I thought the flavor and cook of the burger was really delicious. If I had any complaints, it would be charging additional for toppings, specifically lettuce, tomato, and onions. Those are the standard burger toppings and this is my first time ever going to a place that charges for the basics.... I don't mind paying extra for "special" toppings like avocado, sautéed mushrooms, onion rings etc. but I think they make the burger more expensive than it needs to be with this method. I also had the hand cut fries which had little to no seasoning, like not even salt on them. Outside of the prices and bland fries, I enjoyed the burgers! The menu offers extensive options for all diets, including vegan and gluten-free. The service was a bit slow, but it seemed to be a super busy day since the Yankees were playing and some staff were training. This is one of the few places near FiDi that offers sit down seating for a burger place which was a plus. It's decorated like a typical burger place lol. My friends and I decided to meet at Burger Village for dinner, because it was casual and convenient for all of us. While its bar was rather small, its dining room was massive, with high ceilings and a generous number of comfortably spaced tables. In fact, we were easily able to grab seats for 6 people without having a reservation. Our server, Diana, was a complete gem! She was sweet, attentive, and concerned about our experience. Despite her gracious care, I was sadly disappointed with my meal. My House Salad with organic mixed greens, grape tomatoes, and cucumbers was really nothing special. The added grilled chicken breast was extremely dry and bland. I had also incorporated guacamole and sautéed mushrooms to the salad, requesting that they be thrown on top of it. However, each was served separately in an extremely tiny plastic container. I dumped them on the salad myself, but the portions were so small that they were barely noticeable. The mushrooms were also marinated, but not quite what I would consider "sautéed", as they were still pretty firm. Lastly, there was supposed to be an oil and vinegar dressing, but it had been left off the salad and not even provided on the side. That would have been ok if there had actually been enough guacamole to use as a replacement. Besides my lackluster meal, I had a few of my friend's Seasoned French Fries, which had been coated with a zesty, salty Cajun seasoning. The fries were mushy and not overly fresh. Some members of our party also ended the night with the Funday Sundae, which included a scoop of organic vanilla ice cream, then a scoop of chocolate ice cream, followed by another scoop of vanilla, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and rainbow sprinkles. The dessert was actually rather delicious! When it came to the beverages, I had requested a Casamigos and club soda for my first round. However, I was oddly served a glass of ONLY Casamigos on the rocks, which I just accepted. I found it odd, though, that it was garnished with a lemon slice and bright red maraschino cherries, rather than a lime. My second cocktail was their blend of tequila, muddled cucumber, lime juice, and club soda; the drink was bright, refreshing, and surprisingly boozy. However, our waitress seemed to be preoccupied with other tables and didn't return to take our order for quite some time. We had to flag her down several times, but she appeared disinterested. We weren't checked on by her following the placement of our orders. Another young woman with dark wavy hair, served our drinks and and cheerily greeted us. We even had to notify her of issues with our order because our initial server never returned. She lallygagged with other patrons and turned the other way when we attempted to get her attention. Due to her lack of service, we further requested to have the second server take over our table.
