Lunch time ..

Best burgers in NYC ! Service is quick and friendly. The ambiance is bright, neat and clean!

We have waited 7+ years for Five guys to come back in this neighborhood. We were finally nearby and decided to try it. Food- was great, fresh and what you expect and want from 5 guys. We always do the double burger, with alllll the fixings. You should do it also, it's great. Service- quicker than we expected, which is always nice after a long day. Ambience - pleasant, so far it feels safe and clean, what a big plus when frequenting fast food places these days. Location - excellent, right off maiden, near the other restaurants in the area. tip- order online and pick up for fast service.

This was my first time visiting a Five Guys ever! I was looking forward to this visit for so long. The customer service was excellent. They were able to bare with me because it was my first time here ordering and I didn't know what was what. I ordered two large bacon burgers and fries. Overall the burgers are really good. Great burger size, thick and juicy. The fries are really good too! The place is super clean too. I think this is going to be my go to place whenever I have a craving for a burger.

KOBA Korean BBQ - KOBA Bowl with bulgogi/beef ($19)-- choose from tons of veggie options, rice/noodle/salad based, toppings, and even a fried egg :) yum!

They have a big menu to choose from spanning from fried rice, kimbap, bibimbap, to stews and more. Their signature "make your own bowl" had so many options, came generously portioned, and was so colorful and tasty :D The customization starts with a base: white rice, multigrain rice, japchae (noodles), or salad bases and moves onto a loooong list of toppings. A few of the more interesting ones like bellflower and fern brake roots were sold out when I ordered for dinner. And who else offers a fried egg for no additional charge as a topping? The toppings are yummy by themselves because they are already cooked or marinated. Definitely a great way to get one's vegetables! Proteins include bulgogi, pork belly, garlic chicken, spicy chicken, tofu, and even spicy squid. For kalbi, there's an additional cheese. The bulgogi was well seasoned and hit the spot! A little on the sweeter side but I didn't mind. The texture of the meat is mushier than the usual bulgogi, more of a Philly cheesesteak texture, but tasty nonetheless~ Don't count on this being authentically Korean. The bowls come with sauce options, but everything was so flavorful that I didn't use any! I agree on the hefty portion size; it's enough for a big meal if you're hungry and otherwise two lighter portions. Since the flavors, color, tastes, and flavors were so delightful, I finished it all so don't count on it lasting for multiple meals :) Patrons can order at the kiosks up front or schedule online to pickup. There's plenty of seating that looks fairly comfortable. Service was friendly enough. For more than $20 with tip, it's kind of expensive for a meal, but for the variety, taste, and relative healthiness, this meal was on point!

The FiDi location for KOBA is excellent, definitely a top choice for fast casual Korean food. The kimchi fried rice is so good, it's a big bowl with spicy rice, kimchi, little cubes of beef, and a fried egg to top it all off. Even after surviving the bike delivery transit, the bowl looks great and tastes even better. It's got a nice heat to it that makes the otherwise heavy ingredients taste even more interesting. And I'm not kidding about portions...I've never been able to make it through more than half a bowl, and usually have to stop after a third!

They have such a wide variety of interesting flavours and combinations, so I had a hard time deciding what to get. I ended up getting the honey garlic chicken burger combo and sweet chili chick n pop. The burger was one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had - the bun was light and fluffy, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned with the sweet honey sauce. The fries were pretty solid, but didn't stand out. I really enjoyed the truffle aioli sauce that I chose to come with it! I also loved the sweet chili chick n pop. I got the sauces on the side, but both were super good on their own or combined together. They're perfect little bites of crispy chicken and sauce! I'm super interested in trying the other flavours of fried chicken that they have. Food came delivered super quick - they did forget my drink in my combo, but I assume they might've just not had it.

The wings came out super fast. - Lemon Pepper Wings (3.75/5): the wings were hot and fresh- 6 wings for around $10 with tax. I'm not a fan of saucy wings which is why my rating is the way it is, but if you like sauce then I'd say to go for it! The chicken tenders and bites seem to be the more popular ordered option here. ty for reading :^)
