When my 3 year old son was not progressing at the rate they wanted they wanted to take a break. Then didn't call me back for months. This lack of relationship led to my son being anxious at appointments. I think they lack the patience/experience it takes to build a relationship with the child, and engage them first. I also had a co worker that had the same experience, when her son wasn't progressing they just stopped services. I think they can improves in working with toddlers.

Sadly, insurance does not cover our speech services so this is an out of pocket expense for our family. When I realized after 3 weeks that my son started speaking more clearly, having tons of additional vocabulary, and feeling more confident I knew that I had chosen the correct place. The cost does not compare to the outcome I've received. We have now been working with Mr.Jasper and he is just as amazing. Erin is a very knowledgeable person, who not only is very passionate about her job, but gives her all to the kids. We need more Erin's in the medical field. My younger son was also evaluated and she was honest and said his speech was age appropriate; could've easily told me otherwise knowing I am an out of pocket client. I appreciate the honesty and all the resources you have shared with me. Walking in there all the kids seem to enjoy being there, not once have I seen a child upset or unhappy when coming out. I will forever be grateful for this place as my sons speech has improved 1000%. He loves coming to speech and it's always a pleasant drive going there.

I contacted 10 businesses and I either left messages for them or, I flat out was told they didn't have availability for my child. Only ONE of them called me back out of the messages I left. I was really grateful for the callback too and it was only about an hour or so after I left the message being that I didn't know their business was opened yet. That person ended up being Radha, the owner of this business, Sparkling Speech Therapy. Right off the bat, her voice was warm and welcoming. She informed me that they had only one availability to offer for my daughter and I panicked. While waiting for call backs. I had thoroughly researched each one of the businesses I contacted. Sparking Speech was at the tippy top of my list. Take a look at their vibrant and informative website and tell me you don't agree with me! So even though I didn't have transportation at the time to take my daughter, I took the slot because it was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with such a great business such as Radha's. Let me tell you, from the first meeting, Radha and her team did not disappoint! As a mother worried about finding exemplary services for her daughter on the spectrum, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to find a business and team of women who would advocate for my daughter as passionately as I would. My daughter meets with Ms. Janel weekly and for a short time we had the pleasure of Ms. Morgan assisting her in working with my daughter. Seeing the HUGE difference from Day 1 to now about a little over a month of weekly 45 min therapy, my daughter has flourished. She's making such great progress with being exposed to sign language and increasing her social skills. My favorite thing about working with Ms. Janel is that you can tell she truly loves working with all her kids. She has a such a kind heart and is extremely patient. My daughter is all over the place and it's rare for her to stick to one activity for longer than a few minutes. Ms. Janel doesn't skip a beat. She goes with the flow and adds herself into my daughter's world by playing with what she's playing with or incorporating activities that she knows will peak her interest. The 45 minutes goes by way too fast and now my daughter doesn't want to leave when our time is done! This is a stark contract from my daughter's earlier sessions where she would frequently hand lead me to the door telling me she was done. This business is 30 minutes away from my house. It is worth the time and gas and miles it takes to visit weekly. Believe me when I say, I cannot rave enough about them. I'm hoping my daughter will be lucky enough to receive her therapy from Ms. Janel for as long as we can. Lauren's working style builds the kids up with steady scaffoldings of confidence and skills. She makes it fun for the kids and gives them an early life experience in pushing themselves to achieve their goals. I was sent to this facility prior to having g surgery as well as after my surgery. The surgery I had was QUITE extensive! Was in A LOT of pain from it and my range of motion after surgery was next to nothing. The staff at California Rehab in Ripon have done a fantastic job getting my range of motion back. The main PT supervisor; Mark, he's great at evaluating and coming up with a plan of action/exercises for me to do at the facility as well as ways for me to do the same at home, on my own w/o the equipment that's available there. He also has an awesome personality. Very approachable, easy to communicate with and always willing to answer any questions their clients have. Pam, the therapist who worked with me 2X/wk is FANTASTIC! Also very approachable, very well spoken, explained what to do, how to and how not to do my exercises, very patient, kind and personable young lady who knows her stuff and does it well. Their assistant is Howard, can't forget Howard! He helps out with all the patients. He kept me on my toes listening to music as we did our routines, encouraging me to get that last stretch/pull/lift in while quizzing me on song names and who the artist of each song was that came on. He kept it professional and entertaining. Helped make the time go by faster. Then there is the front office manager, Barbara. Barbara is the Glue that keeps this facility going! She's the first person who patients will encounter when they enter the facility. I can guarantee you she will greet you with a smile and kind words. She is one of the kindest individuals that you could ever want to meet. Very welcoming, makes each patient feel "at home" when they enter their place of business. For a small facility, it's packed with professionalism and great personalities. My time there has come to an end and I am extremely grateful to everyone for all they have done for me. I spoke with the receptionist, Barbra and she was very pleasant to deal with on the phone. There are several forms that need to be completed before your first appointment with the physical therapist. I looked at their website and found that all required forms are available to print. I printed everything out and completed it at home. This saved me from having to arrive 30 minutes before my first scheduled appointment. The waiting area is small with about 5 chairs. If you arrive on time, you won't be waiting long. Again, Barbra was a pleasure to deal with. She also assisted me with scheduling all of my appointments for the month. Mark was my physical therapist for my first day. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Mark does a good job of explaining all the exercises and the desired outcomes. I have also had the pleasure of having Pamela as my physical therapist and she is awesome. It is apparent that these people want to help you get better. The physical therapy room is not very big, but it is packed full of everything needed for rehabilitation. They have everything from a Pilates machine, stationary bicycle, 4 therapy beds and a multitude of other therapy equipment. This is a great physical therapy facility and I am very confident my shoulder will get rehabilitated here.
