I do not recommend North Park Post Acute…read more My mother was transferred here from Kaiser after partial hip replacement surgery. The level of care given to my mother by the staff at North Park Post Acute was sub-standard. The staff did not provide the necessary and required support care. Her medical needs were not monitored - although on her chart from her physician and daily requested by family members. She was not given baths/showers, she did not get assistance to dress in the mornings, she did not get assistance to get to the toilet (often took 45 mins+ to get a response from the call buzzer before a nurse/CNA came to her room). The overall care was significantly less than adequate. I discussed my concerns with the staff, but was told it was someone else's responsibility (day staff blamed night staff and night staff blamed the day staff). I even spoke with the nursing supervisor, while she was polite and professional, there were no changes to the level of care my mother received. After a few days, we transferred my mother to a rehab facility in Modesto - the care there is significantly better. I should note, the lobby and check-in desk were acceptable - the patient rooms are not maintained and are in serious need of cleaning (trash on the floor, dirty bathroom: blood from another patients in the bathroom - for multiple hours, that led to blood in the bathroom overnight), and the walls in the patient rooms were in need of repair (very bad patch jobs in large areas of the sheetrock/drywall). Bottomline: Do not send anyone you love or care about here!

The staff were caring, nurturing, and sensitive to my fathers needs. We had the option between this and another facility in Tracy. We chose Tracy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a previous experience with the other nursing facility. We are so happy we did! My father was happy and all his needs were met during his stay. All staff, from the intake coordinator to the center's administration, were kind, helpful, informative and genuinely concerned for my father's well being. He was in the facility during Veteran's Day. In honor of the holiday, the staff prepared a Certificate of Appreciation for all veteran's staying at the facility. As a U.S. Marine veteran, this small acknowledgement meant so much to my father and we were touched by the kind gesture. Don't expect anything fancy when you walk in. The décor is subtle, but the care is excellent. The facility is super clean and does not smell of urine (as other nursing facilities do). Thank you to the staff of Tracy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the outstanding support you showed my father and my family during his stay. We highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a quality location for care and therapeutic treatment.

Check in at the front took 1-3 minutes and I was called within 5 minutes of my appointment time at 10am. Pretty efficient staff and seemed nice! Didn't run into any issues, but I am glad I made an appointment because the wait time would've been terrible. I did notice that the place was not super modern and kind of felt "out of place" for a medical practice if that makes sense, but the care I received was up to par for the lab testing.

That person ended up being Radha, the owner of this business, Sparkling Speech Therapy. Right off the bat, her voice was warm and welcoming. She informed me that they had only one availability to offer for my daughter and I panicked. While waiting for call backs. I had thoroughly researched each one of the businesses I contacted. Sparking Speech was at the tippy top of my list. Take a look at their vibrant and informative website and tell me you don't agree with me! So even though I didn't have transportation at the time to take my daughter, I took the slot because it was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with such a great business such as Radha's. Let me tell you, from the first meeting, Radha and her team did not disappoint! As a mother worried about finding exemplary services for her daughter on the spectrum, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to find a business and team of women who would advocate for my daughter as passionately as I would. My daughter meets with Ms. Janel weekly and for a short time we had the pleasure of Ms. Morgan assisting her in working with my daughter. Seeing the HUGE difference from Day 1 to now about a little over a month of weekly 45 min therapy, my daughter has flourished. She's making such great progress with being exposed to sign language and increasing her social skills. My favorite thing about working with Ms. Janel is that you can tell she truly loves working with all her kids. She has a such a kind heart and is extremely patient. My daughter is all over the place and it's rare for her to stick to one activity for longer than a few minutes. Ms. Janel doesn't skip a beat. She goes with the flow and adds herself into my daughter's world by playing with what she's playing with or incorporating activities that she knows will peak her interest. The 45 minutes goes by way too fast and now my daughter doesn't want to leave when our time is done! This is a stark contract from my daughter's earlier sessions where she would frequently hand lead me to the door telling me she was done. This business is 30 minutes away from my house. It is worth the time and gas and miles it takes to visit weekly. Believe me when I say, I cannot rave enough about them. I'm hoping my daughter will be lucky enough to receive her therapy from Ms. Janel for as long as we can. So if you have a kiddo in need of speech therapy, please consider Sparkling Speech Therapy, you won't regret it, I promise!
