The human body is such a complex machine that pain in one area could be due to a problem elsewhere. That makes the process of recovery with physiotherapy part art and part science. I had tightness and severe burning pain in my hamstrings. Dr Gill of Biosport initially diagnosed this as tendinitis. He also collaborated with another expert, Nikki of Fit by Nik and together they identified that there was also possible secondary impact from sciatica, manifesting in the glutes and piriformis. Such is the complication with identifying the root cause of pain in the human body. In January, I gave a challenge to Dr Gill to get me ready for a strenuous Rim to Rim Grand Canyon backing trip in May. He took on the challenge with a smile, worked hard week after week with a variety of exercises, massage techniques and education. For my Grand Canyon backpacking trip, I had to navigate an elevation change of 4,300 feet each way while carrying 26 lbs under the hot sun. I have been going to BioSport for about 6 months or so and I am very happy with their treatment for my many body parts they are working on. I have a very long medical history and went to PT up where I used to live on and off for @20 years. I was worried that BioSport would not live up to my expectations since I was used to a different place but they took any doubts I had away on day 1 of treatment. Surprised myself even! They are incredible. The BioSport team remembered my name and even a lot of my medical history from the start. Each time I go and I go 3x a week they assess where I am and ask if there's a certain part that is bothering me each visit. Depending on my response the BioSport team will decide on what exercises/treatment they will do with me on that day. I have also experienced 2 totally new treatments for me anyways and that is Leg Compression Pumps (not sure if that is the correct name) and Cupping. I heard of cupping but I never had it. I love that BioSport is into the whole body treatment meaning they use all treatments such as Eastern, Western, Holistic, Osteopathy etc. I think BioSport Rocks Thank you All! I was diagnosed with Occipital Neuralgia, cervicalgia and Cerebellar Ectopia. I came to BioSport to get my 4 yrs old symptoms treated : severe neck pain, shoulder pain, band -headaches, nausea, migraine and dizziness, when I had almost given up on fixing them. Dr.Karandeep had a very specific way of treating compared to the stereotypical physical therapies I have had prior to coming here. This gave me hope to risk it through their top notch service. Every session produced an improvement in my range of motion in it's end and it stayed maintained till the next session. In a few sessions with him and his team my pain reduced, range of motion improved and I was able to get off of my occipital nerve block steroid injections. So far the treatment has been much more than a mix of what my chiropractor, physical therapist and my fitness coach would provide, all in one session. It's a blessing to have found this spot. I've been coming to BioSport for about 3 months to help with neck and shoulder pain. There has been a huge decrease in my pain and discomfort since my first appointment which is what keeps me coming back. Dr. Gil and his team are very friendly and knowledgeable. I rarely write reviews but BioSport has done such a great job with my rehab that I cannot stop raving about them. I have gone to many other physical therapy clinics over the last 3 years for a chronic hip and lower back pain that has not gone away but after just 6 visits I feel like a whole new person. Before coming in I could hardly bend over or lift heavy items but my quality of life has drastically changed and now I'm able to do my day to day activities with no pain. My rehab experience at BioSport with Dr. KD has been like no other PT experience I have had in the past. Been dealing with shoulder injuries for years and have seen many orthopedic doctors as well as PTs. None of them have given the attention and care that Dr. KD has. His is passionate about r your recovery and doing everything to help you on the path to recovery.
