AWARENESS: My wife and daughter had been seeing Dr. Takahashi for several months before I got onboard. My wife warmed before my visit that Norie was a petite lady but packed much power. NARRATIVE: I began seeing Dr. Takahashi about a year ago, after deciding the pain management chiropractor I was seeing in Modesto was just too far to drive ever two weeks. My initial visit with Dr. Takahashi consisted of filling out a pain management report on myself and other medical related questions. Dr. Norie is the best chiropractor I have ever seen. Most chiropractors do the same adjustments, in the same way, for all their patients. Not Dr. Norie. She listens to what the issue is and treats for that, and she combines techniques that many chiropractors don't use. She does trigger point, myofascial release, and I'm not sure what all she does. But what she does is like magic, she is very intuitive in her touch and reading your bodies needs. I went in specifically for some shoulder pain, and she solved that. Plus, she is the only chiro. who ever correctly diagnosed and corrected a stuck vertebrae that I had had for years. She also resolved my planter fasciations, hip pain, hunched shoulders, etc... Oh, and she takes insurance. Unfortunately, I moved to Denver. And Dr. Norie is so great, she helped me find a new chiro. that does similar work. I just want to go on record about the treatment I received with Dr. Norie Takahashi. She has been a God send for me. I was having a lot of issues that I thought was going to effect the quality of life. Here are a few things that was effecting me. I was experiencing numbness and tingling in my hands, pain with my hips effecting my sleep, foot pain with every step especially in the morning, upper and lower back pain. I was a mess. I have grown up going to the chiropractor and value what they can do very highly. Norie is a very talented and skilled chiropractor with a overwhelming knowledge of the body. She listens to what your pains/complaints are and then goes to work. She goes beyond the area that is sore/hurting and finds the source of the issue. I like that she explained to me why i was experiencing discomfort and how to fix it. Most recently she treated me for my foot pain, which felt like someone was driving nails into the top of my foot, well come to find out the issue stemmed further up in my lower back, which was in turn tweaking my leg, which then was pulling on my foot muscle/tendons. After treatment I was walking 100% better then when i came in and after a few treatments everything was back to normal. I have also seen Norie for soft tissue work. My primary doctor was leaning toward possible surgery to correct my trigger finger. After receiving regular treatments from Norie for a little over a month, she was able to break up the scar tissue and loosen some other tendon issues and had my trigger finger working 100%! All I can say is, Norie can work wonders between her knowledge of the body, passion to help people live a pain free life and her instruments.
