I've been seeing Dr. Chris for 2-3 years. I started to see him due to sciatica pain. I could barely sit when driving. He set me up on a plan and now I'm just on a maintenance routine to stay in tip top shape. Anytime I have pain somewhere, he takes care of it. I had severe pain mid last week and instead of trying my luck with someone new in Modesto, I drove 45 minutes on Saturday just to see him. I felt so good after the adjustment. First off. The receptionist was extremely helpful and has great customer service skills and was a delight with my kids. Seeing Dr. Chris was very unpleasant. He gloated about not wearing a mask through thee entire mask mandate ( not sure how the health department would feel about that) unfortunately when I walked in, it was June 15th when the mask mandate was lifted. Let's clarify that , this lift is for vaccinated patrons. Considering he shamed me for getting my flu/covid vaccine and demanded I do not vaccinate my children ... I am pretty sure that excludes Dr. Chris from removing his mask. He also exclaimed that " pediatricians were the worst of all drs " considering I walked over from my pediatrician office that brought me to his office ... I felt like that was just ignorant of a comment to make. Extremely unprofessional, and so arrogant . He made me so uncomfortable. Pregnant women DO NOT GO THERE. Especially during a pandemic , it is not safe ! They don't care about your well being nor respectful of your choices to keep you and your family safe. read more

I was taking my son to the pediatrician Doctor Urbano just now. This chiropractor is right next door to this office. A man was staring at my son attempting to walk after surgery and he was laughing and snickering at him walking in pain! I could believe it! I was like what the hell is wrong with you!!! We started seeing Dr. Chris about 6 months ago. My son (who is now 2) was getting headaches and after MRI and seeing specialists we could not figure out what was causing them. We figured it could not hurt... right? Not only did it not "hurt" but he has been so much better since we started. He no longer has headaches and another amazing thing... he has not had an ear infection since we started! This after a bout of ear infections each month for about 4 months!!! Dr. Chris made time to see me during the busy 2014 Christmas season and into the new year. Pricing is excellent and he is extremely conciencious. I broke my back in October of 2014 and I was able to walk, but having tremendous pain due to my intervertebral discs being out of place and pinching many nerves. My left arm was beginning to atrophy. My pain was relieved about 15% right off the bat. I had to go to Yuma for several months and by the middle of February my pain was completely gone and I my left arm is completely functional now. Dr. Chris and Shannon are amazing, I been going to Dr. Chris for over 15 years. My 9 year old son was diagnosis with neuro-muscular junction disorder, Autism and A-Typical Rett Syndrome.These disorders effect his muscles and some neurological areas of his brain. I was having severe hip pain for quite a while, but my personal doctor indicated chiropractic care was not recommended for arthritis but wanted to prescribe pills which I rejected. On the recommendation of a friend I went to Dr. Chris and within 4 treatments I was able to sleep thru the night without pain in my right hip. Dr. Chris is the best. I met him in 2013 at the hospital health fair. I suffer from migraines and Tendinitis. I have been seeing him for six months and i am getting less migraines which is music to my hears and during winter time my tendinitis flares up but not this winter. I have been seeing Dr. Chris since about 2008 right after we moved to Tracy. I was in the military and probably jumped out of one airplane to many. I was warned by a millitary doctor at the time of my hospitalization, that all of my injuries would come back to haunt me; they have, and how. The only reason I can walk without pain and use my upper body in daily activity and not eat a whole bottle of pain relievers is because of Dr. Chris's adjustments and advice for living with heavy injury. A medical doctor's answer for my problems was to just live with it, Dr. Chris had a better answer. I never know how I will feel with each new day. Dr. Chris sees me whenever I need his help, sometimes without a prior appointment, he just works me into his intense busy day of patients. As many of you have said about this chiropractor, he is amazing. I only have one other experience to base my review on (Ringer Chiropractic - good but not as thorough and extensive as Total Wellness) and I received a comprehensive and thorough exam on my first visit. I came in with a really bad low back issue and to sum it all up, with the 4 visits, I was instantly on my way to recovery. I still have a lot to do to get myself back to 100% but this was the best thing I've done to help me correct my lower back pain. His adjustments worked, had an instant effect on my pain and discomfort, and overall quality of life. His receptionist Shannon is also very friendly and customer oriented. She was a pleasure to work with. However, I wish I could continue my visits but my finances won't allow me to stay on my recovery plan that Dr. Chris suggested. Hopefully within the year I can come back and continue my treatment but for now I will have to take it easy and just keep stretching. Dr. Chris and Shannon ARE really terrific! I've worked in the medical field for longer than I care to recall; even worked 20 years for an Orthopedic Surgeon. When I couldn't move my neck or raise my arm regular medical options were limited and very invasive! I did not want to have surgery on my neck, so I tried Dr. Chris.
