I correspond with a guy who has been in state custody for more than 20 years. He just wrote that he had the best pastrami cheeseburger and an order of onion rings and some chicken nuggets. To what he says, they deserve 10 stars, not 5 stars. Bravo to Burger Palace for providing good, decent, and best food for inmates at Corcoran prison. Not surprising, the food at all prisons are substandard, if not inedible. So, this was a real treat! Next time you see a cook or a counter person at Burger Palace, say thank you from at least one, if not a thousand, prisoners. read more

While visiting a friend in the area, she and her boyfriend highly recommended this fast food joint that they visit frequently. The restaurant has a large selection of burger combinations, sandwiches, sides, and frozen desserts. The wall menu had many food varieties to satisfy most appetites. My friend was telling me about how much she enjoyed the shrimp salad, so of course she talked me into it! They also ordered for themselves a pastrami sandwich and Philly Cheese steak sandwich with fries to share. When I received the shrimp salad, I was confused at first glance. What I got was chopped lettuce with fried shrimps mixed in. A small container of tarter sauce and cocktail sauce was included on the side. There was no salad dressing as I was expecting. This seemed more like I had ordered cold breaded shrimps topped with shredded cheeses and sliced dill pickles on a bed of plain lettuce. Not a combination I was used to when ordering a shrimp salad which usually includes baby shrimp on mixed greens with at least thousand Island dressing. I guess this is their own version of a "shrimp salad". But it just wasn't that palatable to my taste buds or expectations. On the other hand, my friends seemed to enjoy their food well enough, so I decided to give Burger Palace 3 stars instead of 2 just to be fair. As long as you remember you are eating at a drive-thru in a small farm town then you shouldn't be disappointed (most of the time). Usually the food is good and cooked correctly and the staff are friendly. The prices are fine for the location. WARNING: This isn't FAST FOOD so expect a wait. They make alot of the food fresh, it's not like fast food where they just nuke frozen food. A lot of the reviews are negative regarding the staff and food but I've never really had a problem with either, in fact, I've always found the staff tasty and the food polite. They have great food and service but they make the same foods as the other two mom & pop burger joints and charge almost double.

Lots of daily specials to choose from, along with the regular fast food, has terrific shakes, good service and the drive through is navigable (a little close for larger vehicles). I've been coming to town regularly over a year. This is the 1st time I've come here. From the pictures the food looks great however I was highly disapointed the food was too salty. Fro.m philly cheese steak to mushrooms to French frys. Stfp is having a food fun raiser and it's coming from here that was my purpose of trying it here for them to give them my review. Asada torta! AMAZING the secret is all in the bread It was like soft and sweet! Full of meat it was packed falling out the sides! Thin slices of lettuce and jumbo pieces of real avocado, they don't mess around at this bakery. I will bring my family here soon these Tortas are a life changing experience!!!! read more

Very bad restaurant. The female cashiers are very rude and judging especially the dark one that speaks low she always smells like weed and there's hair in all the food and cups. The cooks don't use gloves or hairnets nor do I see them washing their hands after sweeping and touching garbage , seen female cashier hand a little boy a cone with no napkin after she finished mopping . Just straight back to handling the food . I am disgusted . I was a regular customer, came in everyday until I noticed how manager treats employees when not many customers are dining in.Just bad service in general but I will not eat here ever again . The taller male cook can't handle situations is very sexist towards the employees. Treating them bad .
