I was pleasantly surprised. There are tons of choices for cheeses and other toppings. I chose the garlic buttered multigrain ciabatta bun. The bread was good. It did get soggy from the steam because it was wrapped up to go. I would love to dine in to taste it before it gets the chance to get steamy. I liked the fries. They were kind of like Five Guys. The burger does cost more than Five Guys, but all the variations that you can create make up for that. read more

Burger Monger - Goodness - Burgers Near Me - Clearwater, Florida

It'just a burger place... it-s better than fast food, but it's a bit overhyped. DO NOT have them put an egg on it to make it a royale... they all but cremated the egg. The attitude by the staff was a little less than welcoming, and they forgot to read back our order, which lead to the inevitable messed up order. On the bright side, they did acknowledge the mistake and refired the sandwich, which is better then other restaurants in the area. Overall, not bad... still looking for that In and Out burger... we'll keep looking. read more

Loved the beyond burger served and deliciously prepared here until today i found out they have stopped offering them. Other vegetarian choices are blah. read more

If we are rating on unfriendly , this place would get 5 stars . We walked in , guy behind counter stared off into space , no hello , what can I get ya nothing . Just stared at us ? The line cook appeared just a miserable. The other employees were not engaged .. we were a bit surprised to see the sign over prep station that encourages the employees to meet , greet guests 1-12 .. these guys haven't read line 1 .. Good burger , but frankly plenty of places in Safety Harbor that have good burgers with a smile ! Welcome to Moes ! read more

Free Burger offer with enrolling in new loyalty program not so free. When I went to redeem my free burger, they told me it came with fries and a drink. Then they told me my price was about $7.00 including the "free" burger. If they were going to do a free burger they shouldn't have required you to purchase two other items and not disclose it to you, either at the store or in the inbox within the app read more

Great, Great, Great.. Burgers and service. Root beer float is delicious. I do not eat fries, except this ones, do not what they have, but can not stop eating them... read more

Not happy! Burger came out raw. If the burger wrapping person hadn't noticed, I would have ended up taking raw meat home. While they fixed the burger, my fries got cold. When I complained, the "chef" threw them back into the hot oil. I guess all the compliments I've read on Yelp about the wonderful toppings are well warranted...piles of lettuce, onion, pickles seem to be what you pay for. A word of advice...steal some employees from McDonalds. read more

For a sit down BURGER joint that offers Japanese meat as prominent spot on the menu. We weren't impressed, we were rushed through ordering, not asked how we wanted our burgers cooked. Assume they only cook to medium well. We order a "shareable" fry and receive 25 french fries on a plate. Our lunch was $30 for 2 burgers, a shareable fry and 2 small fountain drinks. Missed the mark Burger Monger. read more

Make sure you check your bags for the items you requested. Specifically Wrote on the to go order online , extra sauces. Went to pick it up, were guaranteed that all the sauces were in there when we asked. Got home 2 sauces were in the bag. One type of sauce completely missing. Lady at the counter was kind of rude about me asking to make sure the sauces were in there. Easy solution. Put the items that are requested in the bag read more

This place is just absolutely fantastic. Imagine Five Guys, but taken to a completely different level, and with beer available :) I came here today because I had a gift card. Ordered the basic burger, and got Brie cheese, grilled onions, and mushrooms on it. Small order of fries with cheese sauce. Chocolate milk shake (hey, I had a gift card and was going all out...). Everything was absolutely top notch. The burger in particular was unbelievably good (as it should be at a place called "Burger Monger"). I'm sure all the cheeses are good, but I'd be excited to come back and have the Brie cheese again. Unique and absolutely delicious. The fries were good. I got the smallest size, which was plenty for me. My wife was not as crazy about the cheese sauce as I was, but I thought it was great. The chocolate shake was delicious. Very old fashioned, very thick, but still drinkable (as opposed to needing a spoon). It is very fair to point out that this place is pricey compared to most burger joints, but I definitely felt like I got what I paid for: the increase in quality was commensurate with the price difference. I can't wait to go back! read more

Went in a half hour before closing, they were welcoming and made good conversation. Explained the menu without it sounding annoying (probably had to repeat it 1000 times for other people), and last but not least the food was really good. The chopped salad with the jalapeño dressing was delicious. And I had a kids burger with tomatoes, jack cheese, jalapeños, and spicy mustard. It was cooked and presented very well. Hit the spot. :) My mom and I also sat outside which was nice, the music they were playing was awesome, pink Floyd I think. The bar next door seemed pretty cool too.... But anyways, very cool place, solid food, with lots of tvs and beer choices to watch sports games. I would go back! read more

Very quick service considering it was a Monday when they have $5 burgers. I signed up for their loyalty program but never received an email so I don't think the girl behind the counter actually took the time to put it in... The burger was very delicious, only downside is that it was so greasy that the bun was literally falling apart. I love a greasy burger as much as the next guy but I'd like for my bun to be able to withstand it. I asked for sauce on the side (wasn't sure if I would actually like them) but they were good as well. I would maybe come back. The greasiness is what brings it down to 4 stars. read more

Best burgers with great choices of beef. A tad expensive for a burger but the results are good.

If you want a good burger fast, this is the spot. Always made fresh with great ingredients. Friendly staff, nice clean kitchen. The milk shakes here are the real deal! Separates it from any other fast casual burger spot. Also nice that they serve alcohol. Good selection of draft beers. read more

We had Burger Monger for the first time recently. I had heard mix reviews about this place, so we gave it a try. Was not happy. The bun was so soggy that I could not eat it. I ended up with just a patty with the toppings. The burger had no flavor. I ordered a chicken tender kids meal, they were so burnt, I took them back for a refund. I went to McDonalds for a kids meal, I didn't want to chance it again. I checked my account later and they credited me 14 cents. This is one place "Been there, done that." I would not recommend if I am asked for a good burger place. read more

Awesome restaurant and staff ! I love this place. Build your own burgers. Beer on tap. Ask for Julia and TIP BIG

Straight & to the point...I've had several burgers from here on different occasions.Sad to say they've never cooked it right and the ingredients have been wrong, everytime lol Burger is definitely nothing special like the person that suggested to me,but it's really not the worst. Biggest gripe?$9 for a mediocre level burger.eh.Even just for the size of it, it's really not worth it for me. Take a shot and see it for yourself. read more

Ordered for take out - 2 hamburgers(husband & I) - BOTH were disgustingly salty. $5.00 for a milk shake!!! that is ridiculous. it came in a McD! regular cup. Fries were salty also. But that was tolerable. Not the burgers $30 for a take out meal for 2. Not worth it and will not return read more

I don't know why I haven't gotten to this place sooner, it's so close to home. Burger was VERY GOOD. For the people who are complaining about messy and greasy - that is what a good burger should be. Good flavor, lots of choices for toppings, nice shiny bun and about average on price. Good fries. I was surprised how large the sit down dining are is and they also have a small outdoor dining area. I also like Burger 21, but have been really disappointed at BurgerFi and Smash Burger. Looking forward to returning soon. Thanks BM! read more

Burger was not freshly cooked. Fries were not hot with little Asiago. The place was ok in a pinch.

Its been a month after my last visit to BurgerMonger and this time went much better. The staff greeted us as we entered the restaurant and took our order. We were given a number. My wife and I then sat and waited. I was pleasantly surprised that our fries were brought quickly to our table still really hot from the fryer. Then out came our burgers. As I have said before I like the burgers and this time the service equaled the burgers, really good! I watched the staff and they were giving everyone the same attention. We even took a brownie home for later. Great Job BurgerMonger! read more

Burger Monger has the best burgers hands down. We are not fast food people but we don't want to spend the time in a sit down restaurant, not on a work night. Burger Monger is the perfect choice for us. The burger I had was topped with all fresh stuff, the French fries are what I would call home made and my wife's salad was as good as any sit down restaurant. Ashleigh took our order and Matt brought us our food. My wife's all about eating healthy. I'm OK with healthy as long as it tastes great. Burger Monger is both. And if you grew up enjoying real milk shakes try the red white and blue mike shake with fresh strawberry slices and fresh blueberries. A great sit down restaurant meal without the hassle. read more

Wow, this was my first trip to Burger Monger and I loved the wide variety of toppings available not only on their burgers but also on the chicken sandwich (which was delicious!). I'm already thinking about what combination to create on my next visit. Their salted caramel malt and shoestring fries were excellent as well. Here is the best part (which inspired me to write my first Yelp review): the service was beyond amazing and shockingly unexpected! I can't get over the extra attention we received and the outstanding attitude of both Ryan and Robert who both went out of their way to see that we had a positive dining experience. Robert even noticed we were standing outside waiting for the rain to slack and came out with an umbrella to walk us to our car! Give those guys a raise...they deserve it! read more

I have been anticipating going here for a few weeks, and I wanted to take my kids. We decided to stop and eat prior to a Rays game instead of eating the overpriced cruddy food at the game....I'm very glad we stopped. We were given the 411 from the guy behind the counter, he told us about the system and some of the specialty sauces and items...he even encouraged us to get a few of the sauces on the side to try. He told us all the burgers were Kobe beef.....I'm a bit skeptical of this fact. Is it 100% Kobe or a blend? Anyway, the burgers are very good. The chocolate shake was a classic black and white, and my youngest loved her dog. Don't expect mcdonalds pricing. For the 4 of us(2 adults, 13 year old, and 7 year old) our bill was $47 for 3 burgers, 2 small fries, 2 choc shakes, kids dog meal, and 2 sodas. We will definitely go back, and I'm thrilled we have this new "upscale" burger spot close to home. read more

Good burgers, great fries, good service! We arrived for lunch on the first full day of operation. There were a couple of glitches--to be expected--which were handled by the facility manager to our satisfaction. Overall, BurgerMonger is a pretty awesome place. The service is excellent and the food is awesome. The burgers are pretty legit. The fries are underwhelming and clearly not the focal point. The one negative is price. An average lunch for two is around 30 dollars, and that's not splurging on things like milkshakes, etc. However, I understand their concept: a good burger is going to have a high cost. read more
