This has been my go-to BK location for a few years now. Food is consistently good, but the service has deteriorated. I pulled up to the drive thru here a few nights ago at 10:30PM. There was just one car ahead of me. It took over 15 minutes to get my order, because they wouldn't give the car ahead of me their correct order. Every fast food place is different. Drive thru was fast and efficient. I was there around 4pm on a Saturday and was surprised at how quiet the location was. Easy to get in off Lexington St, drive thru is literally just driving around the building. Seemed like an off set up going slightly up a hill around the building that had what looked like employee parking behind the building near a dumpster. Only loses a star because the Drive Thru needs the lines repainted and the drive thru side has no overhang, so if its raining, you will get wet. Food was hot and fresh, no complaints there, just odd how different locations have different menu's. A Number 5 in Burlington isn't a number 5 at this location. read more

It's tough to give ratings to fast food establishments based on service, because there are so many shifts and the rate of churn is probably higher. That said, the cashier who took my order today (Sunday) was patient and very helpful. She got her manager to help when there was a problem with using an offer from my mobile app. I was pleasantly surprised, as I usually don't expect much from fast food customer service. Both the manager and cashier were awesome. Food tasted like standard BK (I got a rodeo burger, onion rings, and chicken nuggets). I've also been here in the past, and don't remember any complaints. I come to this Burger King often because it is in my area, however, I never have a problem! Today (Thursday) I went after a long day, tired and with a headache, but when I got to the speaker I was greeted with a cheerful welcome, yes someone who sounded like they wanted to be there. I had spoken quite softly and she respectfully asked if I could repeat myself! when we got to the window she asked my teen if she wanted a crown with a big smile on her face. The food was at the perfect temperature, and the fries were not soggy at all. The order was correct with no mess-ups! The woman who took my order made it an awesome experience, unlike other drive-thru franchises. I would have said something but I was too chicken. She brought joy to the night. Been going here (822 Lexington St Waltham, MA 02452) 2-3 times a month in the past after going to YMCA near by. I have been use their app placing orders and no issues so far. Monday I forgot my phone so ordered with my credit card at drive through and two days later at 1am, someone were using my card ordering food at this location. I have to reported my card stolen. CONGRATULATIONS BURGER KING: You managed to create the worst burger I've ever had, the Impossible Whopper (2.0 version of IB, I presume) OK, I'm a bit late to the party, but I was driving home tonight, saw the sign and thought I might as well try one. Actually, I've previously have a gourmet Impossible Burger (1.0) prepared by 2 James Beard Award-winning chefs, which was entirely mediocre (especially for $16) and some Impossible Burger (1.0) meatballs, which were awful. But at least both of those were surprisingly meat-like in texture. So tasted this side-by-side with a regular Whopper, which is bad (the mayo pretty much dominates everything). But the Impossible Whopper is PROFOUNDLY BAD. If you think that is what meat is like, you need to stop eating your pet's dinner. I realize I'm ordering what essentially amounts to bread and an overzealous amount of mayonnaise to mask the taste of microwaved pigeon patty with painted chargrill marks. So, my expectations for taste are about the level of hoping not to develop food borne stomach poisoning. I would give the Waltham location a minus 100 if I could. While waiting for my food the shift manager was reaming out the kid working the window for apparently being a little late. Who does that in front of customers? And then my fries were waiting to be put in the bag for me and the shift manager ate a fry out of it. So inappropriate. I called her out on it too. Loved this Burger King based off of our mozzarella sticks on the way home, but came back to everything else cold and rotten, the second order of mozzarella sticks was this, cheese was rotting yellow. Must have been sitting on the counter for hours. The only thing that pisses me off is the lady was screaming for mozzarella sticks and our fresh ones were delicious. This is actually one of the nicer Burger King's I've been to. Being only a mile away from where I work, it makes for a convenient, quick lunch stop when I want to escape (erm, leave) the office. It can get busy around noontime, but the staff turns out the food pretty quick. I've never had a problem with an order here. The interior is where this BK really stands out. Large windows surround the dining area, letting in plenty of light. In the center are two potted trees that give the room a nicer feel, like you're not just in a fast food joint. They also have a flat screen TV running various programming to entertain you while you eat. It's definitely not a typical BK interior and the extra touches are appreciated. The food here of course is typical BK fast food fare, but definitely one of the better locations in terms of the food prep, presentation, and flavor. Service is standard, nothing that stands out good or bad. All in all, a consistent, solid Burger King location. read more

I go to this burger king frequently and the service is usually good and not a problem but today was HORRIBLE!! First the male working there ask for my order and I ask for a oreo classic like I usually do, then he tells me if id like a meal with it. I never knew a meal could come with it so I decided why not get a meal because getting the normal shake with small fries would most likely cost the same amount as the meal. The order said that I have the oreo shake, a bevrage, and a chicken sandwhich on there for 10 dollars which wasn't that bad so I drove to the next window. When I get to the next window, I am handed my food except the shake is not there. I stand there waiting for my shake and the boy that was suppose to be serving me leaves as another Employee ask me whats wrong. I tell them they didnt give me my oreo shake and they all look at me confused as if I was talking in a forbidden language. Then a female employee comes saying that wasnt my order and that I didnt order an oreo shake. I tell them I did and explain how the boy said I could get a oreo shake with a meal TOGETHER!! The lady was completely ignorant, slammed the window speaking to the boy in spanish and didn't take my words for consideration. She also kept telling me id have to get back in line to pay for an oreo shake AGAIN. I went to the drive through and order a number 6 with out pickles (whopper junior) medium fries and water, the guy that took my order seems to hate his job but I understand cause I did this kind of job and ignored his attitude, I was very polite to him. This is the only drive thru in the area! Thats the pure positve on this place. I generally don't eat this food but my kids sometimes do eat here. Today they wanted to grab some chicken fries which I reluctantly agreed to. They wanted to snack on something while I ran an errand. They came out with their food and no napkins. Sent them back inside to get napkins and they came out and said the person at the counter said they had run out of napkins and they did not have any. I sent them back in with the food to ask the manager for a refund and return the food. The manager said you need napkins and handed them a stack. Try this: two people in line, me and a lady in front of me who apparently has had some problem with her order. So after patiently waiting for the counter staffer to sort it out, imagine my amazement when she looks up at me and without a word, turns and walks to the back. Thinking she must be going to grab something quick (what I can't possibly imagine), I stand there stunned for a couple minutes while the blabbering idiots working the drive thru continue to ignore. So I left, only to be goaded by my wife into going thru the drive thru as the only reason we were there was to satisfy her craving for one of those stupid cheap vanilla cones that she loves for some God-unknown reason. I'm currently sitting here at BK, I haven't even touched my food because of how much I felt the need to write a review. The lady taking my order had a little trouble but that was okay. It was the wait, and the man running the food that ruined my experience here. He YELLS your number out when he could simply speak a little louder. The lady up front tried helping him with food and he just scolded her, grabbed the bag from her hand and told her to just stay up front. He continued to tell her things and then you hear her say, "you can't talk to me like that." And I completely agree. I've worked in fast food and there is no need to harass your employees no matter what. He had no name tag other wise I would've put his name down. But he's a man with barely any hair.
