He said the card was declined and then claimed they didn't even have Sprite--despite the employee who took our order confirming they did and already pouring it. He continued insisting the card was declining and that he was running it correctly. We pulled forward, called the number on the back of the card, and confirmed there were sufficient funds. My husband then went inside and spoke with another employee, who explained that the drive-thru worker wasn't even processing the card properly--he kept pressing "skip." This is one of the few Burger King's I have seen with a playground. No one was using it but it's there if the kids need to get some energy lose. We wanted a quick something before hitting the road for home. We ordered a Whopper Jr. and a crispy wrap. Service was speedy and we took our food to go. Staff were friendly and nice. I had never had the crispy chicken wrap. It was decent. I will have to keep that in mind for the future. The Whopper Jr. was fine and gone within minutes. Went to Burger King yesterday. I thought they were closed in and in demolition mode, but I couldn't have been more wrong. BK burgers are the only fast food burgers I like but so many BK's are not run or managed well and may even be a scary place to go. The one on Cortaro WAS that way - but they are making a turn around, remodeling and new and wonderful staff. Give it a try. They are not closed. They are remodeling. My food was fantastic.
