Frustrating service at the drive-thru priority over in-store customers…read moreI went inside Panda Express today to order because the line looked short. Levon greeted me, took my order quickly, and then immediately walked away to handle a drive-thru order. When he came back, instead of finishing my in-store order, he started working on the drive-thru one. I politely asked if it would be faster for me to just go order from my car in the drive-thru, and he casually said "yes" and kept working on the other order. It was pretty disappointing. I was standing right there, order already placed, and they still prioritized the drive-thru over me. Ended up wasting time when I could have just stayed in my car. The food is usually solid, but this kind of service makes me think twice about coming back inside. Drive-thru customers apparently get priority even when you're already at the counter.

We opted to sit outside to watch the sunset but it's a bit hard to see from the direction their patio sits, but still beautiful. Service started off friendly enough but sometimes the responses from our waiter came off as condescending and not friendly. Food was good and so was the cocktail I had (Gila Monster.) We will be back to try more of their dishes and hopefully we'll get a friendlier waiter. P.S. It would have been a nice touch if they acknowledged my husband's birthday as I had mentioned it when I made the reservation, but they didn't. I would have given 3.5 stars based on the two misses but YELP doesn't allow for half stars and since the food and ambiance was very good, I'm opting for 4 stars.
