I would not recommend coming here especially if you have young children!!! The lack of basic human empathy we experienced was honestly upsetting. While my husband was in line waiting to place our order I stepped out with our 3 year old because he urgently needed to use the restroom. When I realized a key was required I asked my husband to request access. The employee "JUAN" refused and said the restroom was only for paying customers. By the time we could have resolved it my son had already had an accident. He was crying, embarrassed, and we had no choice but to leave. He didn't even get to enjoy the meal he had been looking forward to and had earned. I understand policies exist but there should always be room for compassion especially when it involves a small child in distress. I can see why the rating at this Burger King is so low. This was already a bad location to visit and with time, the decline in quality, service, and satisfaction only continues... I made a mobile order to this BK simply because of its close proximity. Mobile orders offer drive thru services, pick up in-house, & dine in. I opted for pick up and went about making my payment. The app specifies for you to inform staff of your order at arrival. Sounds easy enough... but it wasn't. I arrive to 2 other patrons just standing around. Not a single employee is stationed at the registers and everyone is hovered in the kitchen area. Not a single person said a thing and they all periodically passed by, making eye contact, yet proceeding to ignore. After standing around for quite a bit of time, I finally flag down a gentleman and inform him that I am here for mobile order #43. He looks at a few of the orders sitting around and states that there is no order with that number. I insist that the order was made and paid for. He takes another quick look and tells me there is only a #42. I grab my phone and confirm that the 329 N Capitol Ave was their address. A lady standing off to the side decides to chime in and accuse me of placing the order for DRIVE THRU. First off, where the hell did you come from? Secondly, who was actually speaking to you? And lastly, where is this proof that I made my order for drive thru because my mobile app clearly states otherwise. Her tone, attitude, and face was absolutely unnecessary. Once she realizes that she was wrong, her only response was "I GOT IT! I GOT IT!" No apology and still with that same ugly attitude. Shout out to the nicer lady who was just clocking out for the day and saying goodbye to the [NOT so] lovely, Lydia. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to put a name to THAT face. 1 star bc zero isn't an option. Management should really give Lydia a refresh course in customer service. Her being around others and having interactions with patrons can't be good for business. No wonder the one gentleman ended up walking out after being ignored for quite some time, this place is an absolute disaster. read more

BK you made me do this. We recently went here brought the whole family. We had to try these SpongeBob burgers. After being told they no longer had anything it the hamburger and still being charged for the whole Shabang. No tater no drink no pie. Then my entire family got sick. Ordered a large whopper meal and when I arrived at the window to pay I gave the cashier a coupon. He looked at it and tossed it aside and continued to collect the original amount of $15. I said I gave you a coupon and it's for $7.99 + tax. He said I had to tell him when I was ordering. There was no set rules that had to be. I said then cancel my order and reorder it with the coupon. I just don't understand how ppl nowadays cant just resolve a simple problem without causing an argument. He then looked at the seems to be manger to void the order and resubmit it with the coupon. The manager then continue onto sayings it's a big difference. I made my point by saying there is nothing that says all coupon user have to mention coupon when ordering. So don't be mad when ppl come to the window with the coupon. Make the instruction of coupon using clear otherwise don't argue with the customer. Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. It's my go to Burger King, and I've never had a bad experience. Workers are very nice and this is one of the only BKs I've been to that are familiar with coupons and I don't have an issue with it. Also lost a gift card here once and they... returned it :)! I got all these burgers and fries for under $30. Get the Burger King app for coupons! My fries are always made fresh. Bathrooms are clean. It is a bit of a longer wait but worth it. The Impossible Burger was better than expected - I really couldn't tell the difference! The taste and consistency were identical to a normal Whopper and the only noticeable difference was the patty's edges. A regular beef Whopper has a curved edge while the Impossible Burger patty, like a veggie burger, has a noticeably sharp edge. Otherwise, it tasted just like a regular Whopper. As for this Burger King establishment itself, the place is a bit dirty with trash on the floors, tables, and a messy condiment counter. Maybe they are short staffed but when I arrived, there weren't any customers but the people in the kitchen were all tending to something; most likely the drive through customers. The staff was friendly though. Either way, I enjoyed my burger knowing a cow didn't die. read more

My mobile order was (2) Jalapeno 4 PC and 1 Mozzarella 4 Pc and a Free BK Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich w/bacon. At the window they told me they were out of the Jalapeno Poppers. I offered to get out of line and go inside the store until I could call my sister to see what she wanted. I used 240(?) points towards one of the Jalapeno orders. When I went inside I said I'll take 8 Mozzarella and fries to make up for the other 4 Jalapeno orders. I said since I have Royal perks can the fries be large. I was given 8 mozzarella and my chicken sandwich without the bacon. I told them I was shorted food. Jose, who said he was the Manager said "nothings for free" and finally gave me 4 more Mozzarella sticks...I said I only wanted 8 not 12 and make up the other 4 Jalapenos for Fries. I showed him my online receipt which was suggested by a customer. I did and Jose (that's what he said his name was....he has a weak left eye) started talking to me loudly "NOTHING'S FOR FREE!"...over and over again. My honesty and integrity were being questioned....I would not put up with that. I don't curse, but I did with him (which I felt bad about). I asked him what every happened to "customer service...I've been coming to this Burger King since it opened"....and how dare you question my honesty. He FINALLY took away 4 of the mozzarella and gave me fries....I get to the car and there are no mozzarella dipping sauces. I had to go back in the store and told Jose "you can't even get the order right and forgot the dipping sauces. He gave me 2 and I left, very upset and my blood pressure must have been thru the roof. It's a new(ish) place -seeing how it's only been there for approximately a year -and it appears to be doing very well, which is great. They over charged me for items i didnt order or received for that matter. I see that as 2 different fails. A fail on my actual order and a fail on filling the order that was on the receipt. Get it together BK. Update. So I went back to the store (not upset or angry) went in and mentioned to them what had happen. Also informed them that their phone line was not working. No appology, did seem to care that I couldnt call them. i also noticed on top of the extra items that we charged, i didnt get the $10 2 whopper meal deal. The manager said that he will only refund the extra items and that because I didnt mention 2 whopper meal for $10 I will be charged normal price for 2 whopper meals (little over $15). I have to spread the word so that somehow sanitary measures and reformation of this Burger King location can somehow be put into effect. I came here with my girlfriend today ordered our meals and proceeded to the bathroom to wash my hands before I ate. I went into the bathroom with an "employee" here and used the sink while he was using the TOILET...when he was done he straight left the bathroom and went back to work because I saw him a minute later preparing someone's hamburger...just the thought of his hands putting on the lettuce, frying the patty, and putting together the bun just SICKENS me...DON"T EAT HERE...this place is straight dirty... The employees are rude and rowdy; the bathroom just reeks (and you know how they say bathroom cleanliness reflects staff and restaurant as a whole); the food are terribly made, just feels sick! I swear I will never eat at this Burger King location ever again...and I want to extend this plead to the all yelpers who are reading my review that they should be forewarned that this BK location is gross and eating the food here may pose complications that maybe detrimental to your health. BURGER KING This location is close to Grocery Outlet, so it's a great place to stop by for lunch if you're looking to do some afternoon grocer shopping. I've only ordered the Cranberry Walnut Grilled Chicken Salad here, but for some reason, I like it at this location better than other Burger King locations. Maybe because of the different packaging they use, but it seems you get more!!! Make sure you get the apple cider vinegrette salad dressing, because it makes your salad taste that much more delicious! read more
