I understand that businesses have policies and employees can't always give away free food. However, when a homeless man walked in on a hot day and simply asked for a glass of water, he was ignored and then told to leave. Water is a basic human necessity, and showing a little compassion costs nothing. I was able to catch up to him outside and give him a few dollars so he could get something for himself, but the entire situation was disappointing and heartbreaking. Management should do a better job of encouraging empathy and treating people with dignity. No one should be made to feel unwelcome for asking for water on a hot day. read more

Service is terrible and slow. 45mins for my food and it was 3 item, fries, chicken fries, and a whopper jr. People who ordered after me got theirs first. I didn't understand. Another customer after me had the same issue. Asked someone about my order, she asked for my order #, I gave it to her and she didn't do anything or said anything to me after. Never going again. read more

Closed at 7:30 but lobby hours say 9pm; This is simple operation fulfillment that their operations manager just can't seem to enforce

This has been the most horrible BK forever. Just awful !!!!! Until now, the young man working there is great, fast, polite, helpful and the food came out piping hot. Keep up the good work!!!!! read more

the woman who was working the drive through and giving orders to customers was the kindest most genuinely caring and nice person I've encountered at a fast food chain in years. it was truly a breath of fresh air to be served by someone who enjoyed their job and put a smile on the faces of strangers for no reason other then to be a great person and a wonderful asset to Burger King. She made me and my fiancé and our dog Yodas evening after a long day at the hospital and just want to say thanks!!!! read more

Terrible decision to get Burger King over McDonalds I asked for a plain burger due to the reason that my sister is allergic to a lot of the stuff in the burger and they still decided to put it in the burger and also the service was bad they are very rude and don't even care to do their jobs right read more

Burger King - Burgers Near Me - Richmond, California

Haven't been to this location in YEARS and today I realized why. My son was eating his whopper then he starts pulling something out of his mouth and it was a CURLED PIECE OF METAL!!! I'm so confused as to how they managed to put metal in his burger. I couldn't finish my meal in disgust. They are lucky it didn't cut up his mouth or got stuck in his throat because I would have walked in to the counter and called the cops to the location. DO NOT EAT HERE ! read more

Burger King - Metal, thicker then floss was in the Whopper!!!! Length of a nickel and pretty sharp on ends. - Burgers Near Me - Richmond, California

I gave the clerk (#21) the money to pay for my order in her hand, she put my change on the counter. That is very rude.

Impossible Burger - Impossible in Richmond. The corporate leads at BK and Impossible Burger central must not have accounted for Richmond, CA when it came to marketing and selling the new Impossible Burger. Used the BK app to buy the $7 Impossible comparison (1 beef Whopper, 1 Impossible Whopper). Beef Whopper was as I remembered, somewhat juicy flame-scented beef under a blanket of ketchup and mayo. The comparison? The Impossible Burger didn't quite measure up. At first glance, the Impossible patty itself seemed severely overcooked compared to animal beef, and it proved just as dry on consumption, precluding experience of the vegetable-heme juices. Flavor was interesting, with a nutty/mushroomy flavor not present in beef. Overall, yes, it did taste like meat - it evoked a public school food service hamburger. Overall, not sure if we should write off the BK Impossible Burger, or just write off Richmond's BK as the place to buy one. To their defense, their clientele doesn't seem the most likely people to purchase this item, leaving the poor patty to desiccate in the warmer. read more

Decided to give this Burger King a try since I usually go to mc donalds up the street and I regret it. I came in around 10 am and it took nearly 20 minutes to go trough the drive-through window. Don't come here during your lunch break you'll be late to work. Smh never coming back. read more

Burger King - Drive-through - Burgers Near Me - Richmond, California

Horrible horrible horrible!!!! No soap in the bathroom equals no money being spent here! Not if food is being prepared! First you have to make a purchase BEFORE you can use the bathroom! I'm glad I only brought some orange juice. I asked to speak with the manager and the cashier said she was there but never let her know that someone wanted to speak with her. I waited 5minutes of my time. I will never come back here again and I am calling the state. Just because you're in a low income area don't treat your business of the same way! read more

Corporate needs to reconsider who they have as a manager for this location. This place is shortstaffed and does not have any English-speaking employees. This location's staff does not have any training. This location needs to be re-evaluated due to the constant complaints this location gets. This location gets a lot of traffic so it only makes sense that a manager is available at all times. And today eating area smelled like urine,I repeat it smelled like urine! Burger King - This fool have a fucking attitude problem. He's snap if you asked him twice. Beware of this person, don't trust. This place is Ratchett.... - Burgers Near Me - Richmond, California

I went inside, there were no customers inside or not in drive thru, said hello 3-4 times, and 3 folks were just standing in the kitchen chatting non responsive. Thought maybe they were fixing something and gave one more chance. I waited for 2 mins more. Then said hello 2-3 times, a Mexican women came to the counter while chatting, showed a hand as a signal to wait and went back inside. That's very unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful of Burger King. Never going back there, even when starving. They are rude read more

Let me preface this review by saying that it is specifically for THIS location on MacDonald Only! I brought the kids to Kaiser for their Flu and Covid shots at the Richmond facility and they were hungry so we stopped off to just grab some burger and fries. We were all going to go inside and order since we had 2 coupons we wanted to use BUT the doors were locked!!! So we got back into the car and got in line for the drive-thru. Once we got up to the order microphone my husband told the guy he had a coupon and gave him the code # - no problem he's done that at all the other Burger Kings too. Now when he tried to tell him we had a 2nd coupon we wanted to use he wouldn't allow it stating it was ONLY 1 coupon per vehicle BUT we told him the doors were locked!! He argued and said that they weren't and then said that ONLY 1 door was locked and that we had to use the OTHER DOOR!‍ So as we were waiting for the order in drive-thru I decided to go ahead and go inside and put the other order in using the 2nd coupon! This time the door WAS open and I was in line behind 1 other person. After that transaction was completed the cashier LEAVES to start doing other things and talking in Spanish to her co-workers. I'm left STANDING THERE without any "hello", "I'll be right with you" NOTHING for a good 10-15 minutes Then when she does finally utter "how can I help you?" and BEFORE I can even RESPOND she's already turned her head to the side and speaking SPANISH to her co-worker who's standing next to her!!!! WTF?! I must've given her the stink eye or something because she turned around and started paying attention to what she should be doing! So I proceeded to tell her that I wanted to place an order using a coupon and I was going to give her the code # when she STOPPED me and said NO I need "the paper" (meaning coupon). I showed her the screenshot picture of the coupon and I said, "oh but isn't it just the code # that you need to put in for the coupon?" She said, "No I can't do that"! I told her that we just put an order in through the drive-thru doing JUST THAT without any issues and she wasn't budging!! So I just left and told her ok and that it was too bad that she was LOSING my business!!! How stupid and stubborn when all the OTHER establishments that we've gone to have NO ISSUES doing it this way! I would've left only 1 but decided on giving the 2nd since the guy at the drive-thru DID allow us to use the coupon with just the code # without any hassle! The way I see it is pick your battles lady!! Customers are trying to COME to you and you're pushing them AWAY!!! Not a very smart business move in my opinion. Didn't feel very welcomed from the get go either beginning with being IGNORED (waiting to order) to being spoken to (asked for order) ONLY to be ignored again (turned to speak Spanish with co-worker)!!! The thing that makes this situation worse for me is this employee was NOT a young person (teenager or young adult) whom I can in some ways pass or justify their lack of experience and knowledge for this encounter happening BUT NO, this employee was probably in their late 50's-60's!!! read more

They need better training at this location. I came in to use an online coupon. The guy at the counter said it was only good for a certain day. I showed him the online coupon stating it was good at that moment, for that location. We argued about this for a few minutes until he brought over the manager, who allowed my coupon. Several people behind me had the same coupon, so I can't believe that I was the first person that day, or even that week, to use that coupon. read more

There service is feces, i waited 1000 years just to order my food and at the end i could not even order it because they conveniently ran out. Burger King - Can I get a burger that looks like the one on the menu? First skimp on the ketchup, note the lettuce - Burgers Near Me - Richmond, California

The only reason I'd ever go back to this Burger King would be to burn it down. The workers always have an attitude, the menu outside is dilapidated, the order box never works correctly, when you finally make it to the pay/pickup window it's always another 10-15 minutes of the workers chatting or slothing around behind the counter until your food comes out. What made tonight different? My chicken sandwich, not spicy because they ran out, was cold. Never. Again. read more

I should have known my order was going to be messed up because the customer before me had to return her food twice. I was in a hurry so I just hoped for the best. Big Mistake!! I ordered a sausage croissant breakfast meal and I didn't get any sausage..lol! My hash browns tastes like they had been soaked in oil and only tasted like grease. My croissant was burnt and I was not pleased at all. I called the number on the receipt to complain and it is not a working phone number. This Burger King really is a hit or miss- usually a miss. Been here a few times because it's close to home and in the same shopping center where I wash my clothes.. so If I have no place to be or not in a rush maybe I'll chance it.. reason being is because almost every time I've been here, drive through or inside service is slooooooow, anytime of the day, any day of the week. Just spent 8!minutes in the drive through with only 1 car ahead of me and it took a while to get my simple order to me ..I've been there one night service was so slow, literally all the cars started hitting reverse in the drive through and left . As for the food- basic Burger King food although twice they've messed my order up, once on a breakfast sandwich just slapping a piece of cheese on, didn't let it melt at all, and another time forgetting a toy and juice with my sons happy meal.. Bottom line- anticipate a wait and check your order . read more

This place sucks. Drive thru service: rude a** person takes my order, and I kindly repeat my order back to her as I'm picky and don't like ketchup or mayo or mustard. Just to make sure they don't add all that stuff, so not even half way through me repeating my order she rudely cuts me off and says " I got it I got it" so I drive up the window and she hands over our drinks and asks me "what did u not want on ur burger?" So I said I thought u got it and she rolls her eyes at me so I just kindly repeated my order and it took another 5 mins for 1 burger. Her name is Ivonne. She might be the manager who knows but she was very rude and unwelcoming. Don't come to this BK. You'll definitely be disappointed and they might even spit in your food. read more
