I found out about Marty's earlier this year. It's a cool spot and they have a VEGGIE BURGER. I'm so happy to have a local place to get a good veggie burger. They have fried fish, chicken, burgers, chopped cheese, etc. It's a pretty decent menu. The food isn't spectacular but it's good and fresh. They don't seem to get a lot of business but I do hope that changes. They have a drive thru but it takes much longer than just going inside, even when there's no one in line. The staff is friendly and they take your order right away. They also play some pretty good music in there so you can enjoy some tunes while you wait for your food. Got a cheeseburger and the jalapeno poppers. Cheeseburger was good, but the sauce was only on side, so it made it feel like half the burger was a bit dry. Can't go wrong with the jalapeno poppers. We've been to Marty's Grill a few times now and we always come for their philly cheesesteaks! We like that there's a drive thru where you can order, so you won't have to get out of the car lol. The drive thru orders don't take that long either. The owner is very friendly and a chill guy. He shows great customer service every time we come by and makes sure we're always good. It looks like their burgers are another favorite as well, so I'm hoping to try that next time we come back! However, my go-to is the philly cheesesteak! Man. Has this place gone down hill. They no longer offer avocado or mushrooms on your burger, and they've taken the small burger off the menu. I think that it's possible that the burger itself has changed. Marty's is no longer my go to place for a burger. Too bad, so sad. read more

Okay, first time here and my co-worker and I enjoyed it. This is a fairly new spot and they serve burgers, fish and other items. I had a fried fish sandwich that was very good. It was HOT which is huge for me and the flavor was on point. It could've used a little extra tarter but trust me, I will return. I ordered the onions rings and enjoyed those as well. Coworker got the 6pc panko crusted shrimp with fries and she was very pleased. The food was good, customer service received from Kenny was great and we didn't have to wait long which is always a plus when you're just stepping out for lunch. Marty's Grill is a diamond in the rough. My partner had a craving for a burger and we decided to give this spot a try. It replaced Hacienda Grill, which I was originally bummed about but after my visit, I'm content. To be honest, what stood out for me was how clean this place was in comparison to its predecessor. I went on the weekend and it was pretty empty so I hope that when I imagine it's busier during the week that they're able to maintain that. My partner got a bacon cheeseburger with fries which were a decent bite. I opted for a chop cheese which I hadn't ever had and was pleasantly surprised. It reminded me of the flavor of a Big Mac without the disappointment. If you're like me and don't know what a chop cheese sandwich is, it's pretty much a ground beef sandwich with fixings. I don't think I need to order it again but next time I'm across the street for a doctor's appointment at Kaiser I'm likely to drop by and give their Philly cheesesteak a try. Ample parking, someone would say more than necessary. Drive-through is a plus, can't comment on the wait time for the drive-through but my dine-in order came out rather quickly. Some of my favorites from Marty's include the bacon cheeseburger and the grilled chicken wrap. The food is just the right portion and isn't super oily like at most diner spots. The restaurant sits conveniently across from Kaiser and the Richmond Post Office, and is about 1-2 blocks away from BART. It's spacious, open, and in an area where you can get plenty of people passing by. The hours here are also convenient!
