The service was subpar. I sat in the car for a long period of time waiting for my food. When I got my whopper and chicken nuggets and fries, they were room temperature only slightly heated, which is incredibly disappointing. The ambience is not very clean nor very nice. It is a very convenient location next to the Fry's and the gas station. It's unfortunate that it is so terrible. Because the convenience of the location makes it a great spot for a fast food restaurant. Unfortunately, this restaurant is neither fast nor really that great considering food. Been in the area for about 2 years, been here probably 20 times. Everytime I've been there the staff has been respectful to me, but that's the only positive surrounding the entire store. The place is almost never clean on the inside, the soda machine is ghetto and has problems working. NEVER go to the drive thru at this location, the food will take anywhere from 5-30 minutes depending on your luck. Long wait and order incorrect - ordered inside restaurant: Duo (2 whopper juniors) with no catsup to go. Waited 12 minutes. when i got home both burgers smothered in catsup. Walked inside the Burger King restaurant today and respectfully requested Burger King's best breakfast. Was told by the cashier that the Egg-Normous Breakfast Burrito was their best breakfast. Paid @ $7 dollars, and patiently waited. About eight minutes later I was handed a brown paper bag with a small burrito inside. Opened the burrito to inspect its contents. I was caught off guard when I inspected the breakfast burrito. This burrito contained a couple of small pieces of bacon, some scrambled eggs, some cheese, and a couple of small hash browns all wrapped up with a cold and broken tortilla. I did not eat the burrito, instead I left the unappetizing burrito on the front counter and told the cashier that this breakfast burrito was unacceptable. Sub-par is an understatement. This Burger King is robbing their loyal customers by advertising amazing looking food, then doing the old bait and switch, and then serving their loyal customers unappetizing food. Burger King will not earn many new customers by knowingly and willingly short-changing their loyal followers by serving sub-par and unappetizing food. Would I have been craving my long-ago usual: " double cheeseburger plain, onion rings, Diet Coke, of course" if I didn't lay eyes upon this new "Home of the Whopper"? I doubt I would've. And the drive-through employee was so nice, and my onion rings so fresh...that I even awarded them the extra star as a thank-you and "welcome to the neighborhood!" Now there are the three biggies up this way: Mc'Ds and In-n-Out off the Carefree Hwy/I-17 exit and this BK off the fairly new Dove Valley exit. If you want to deal with a little less traffic/lines...BK is the way to go (for now.) (and yes, there's a BK down Carefree Hwy east, a couple miles.) Truly I say to you, friends.. that this burger joint is OK for a fast food chain! Friends! Seriously!! I have frequented this establishment and they, in turn, provided me with adequate and pleasant service!
