Fast food restaurants have 3 things in common. They all say they strive for excellence in QCV, Quality, Cleanliness, and Value. The Quality of the product was sub-par. Minimal condiments on every burger. Having managed a BK for several years I know that the condiments were significantly less than the operations manual defines. I couldn't tell if there was any ketchup on the burgers, not even enough lettuce on the Whopper to be considered light. The Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Filthy windows, overflowing garbage in the bathroom, and a sink that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in quite some time. Value was comparable to any other BK that doesn't have Coke, less than expected. Service was ok. Had to have a burger remade, and the employee was quick to get my request and the improperly made one from me, but very slow to return the replacement. It sat on the chute for 5-6 minutes, then the same employee looked at me with no apparent comprehension of why I was still standing there. I saw the light click on when I mentioned I was still waiting. Nice enough kid, a little stressed or overworked perhaps. Had I been a secret shopper, it would have been a complete failure. read more

We just returned home after having a meal at the Burger King restaurant in Madras, Oregon. 6/5/24 We stopped going to the Burger King in Redmond, Oregon because of reasons we thought were unique to that restaurant. Let me tell you right off, we'll no longer patronize Burger King anywhere because the problems are not to unique to that one facility. How you can stay in business is beyond. Service is terrible. At 11:30 we entered the restaurant in Madras, Oregon. There were people in front of us, waiting to order. We heard a man ask a woman behind the counter if there was anyone who could take his order. He was told, "someone will be with you shortly". And we waited longer. From the counter where we stood we could see 2 people working on preparing the food. Now there was one person behind the counter who also worked the window. There was also one employee who was behind the counter now eating at a table. She was the one who told us that we'd be helped soon. Our order was finally taken at 11:43 according to the receipt. By 12:04 I walked to the counter to see how things were going. The person in front of us was also there, not having been given his order yet. I walked over to the person eating and asked her if she was the manager. She told me she wasn't but that the manager was in the back. She got up from the table and said she'd get her. I walked back to the counter and waited for the manager. She apparently ignored my request because she never came out to talk with me. Then we got our food. We'd order a Whopper Jr and fries. The food was the next disappointment. The burger was tasteless, dry, and not up to the standard of the past. The fries were not hot, in fact they were not even really warm. Another thing is cleanliness. We had to search for a clean table. The first two we looked at had food remnants on them. It was disgusting. Finally, it's nice to have music playing in the background at a restaurant, but when it's loud, modern noise, it's not conducive to holding a conversation with anyone at your table. If the manager thought about it, he/she should recognize that the music is for the patrons, not the employees. These are the reasons we won't patronize Burger King anymore. It's not "Fast Food". It's not "Good Food". Management in the restaurants aren't really managing, and finally, I won't eat in a pig sty. read more

I just got banned from madras Burger King by the general manager for bringing in a large bk cup to get water. lol. The one who sleeps in his car in front of said place. He doesn't shower and was heard throwing up in the bathroom. He chased me out of the store. read more

I don't think I've ever said this before, but, they gave us enough napkins! For real! As a mom of 4 on a road trip, that's a big freaking deal! It took a couple minutes to get our food, but, we ordered several things, so, overall, it actually wasn't a bad wait at all and the gal was very sweet. The food was all hot and everything I tasted was good (ya know, for a fast food breakfast). We make this road trip often and I think we will be making our pit stops here from now on. read more

Been about 6 times I've come in and not posted anything. Well it's time I do.. 1st off NOTHING is cooked for order. You NEED to ask for fresh product. The frys are only half cooked every time. The last 2 times including right now staff seem to be hooking customers up and passing personal things over counter and not even washing hands. The staff give food out. I would avoid this location. The build quality of the burgers is horrible. I realize this is fast food, but looking at the burgers all you see is a bunch of slack offs rushing ingredients in and slapping then together with zero care for customers. It happens without fail, so I would imagine it's a lack in management. They mess up orders frequently. Hell, today I ordered a simple #4 (bacon king) large meal. It has bacon, cheese, ketchup and mayo. I guess that's too difficult becaus the mayo was replaced with some other sour white sauce. The burger was hanging outside of the buns, the small amount of bacon was slapped in the middle in a stack like someone drew a line in the middle off the burger. Their was barely any kethup and plenty of the mystery sauce. Again, fast food looks nothing like the ad but this was a toddler taking a fraction of the time to do their job instead of caring about the 10 bucks someone just spent. Avoid this place. The place just screams crappy management. They will not respect your hard earned dollar. read more

11/11/21 12:42pm. Madras OR Burger King. We are not much into fast food but this was our 1st food pit stop driving from Stevens Co in WA to the Bay Area in Calif for a family event. We both haven't had Burgee King in years. I've personally always like BK but I hate the King commercials, he looks spooky! Anyways, we place our order in the drive thru. We had our order taken promptly. We ordered simply a plain Whopper mustard catsup only and a king plain double Qtr pounder, both costing $6.00. Omg, ours were the BEST burgers ever. We wanted to go back and order the same but we had to hit the road. We stop in Vacaville CA #21657. It was the worst ever. The identical order of our burgers totaled $13.60!!! It was yukky! Welcome to Cali the overpriced state! As I remained in CA my husband heading back to WA stopped at the same Madras OR BK. He ordered a Bacon King, coffee, plain Whopper patty no seasoning for our German Shepherd/Blue Heeler. It was perfect! Whenever we driver to CA we plan to stop in Madras besides my Godson lives nearby. I don't understand the negative reviews however they are dated. I can almost taste the Whopper. Didn't feel like cooking dinner so my family and I went through drive through. Got a rude order taker, whatever...no one had customer service anymore so it's to be expected Sadly. Had to pull around front to wait for our order which is also standard for burger king, why actually make your drive through time if you can just have them park and wait instead? Waited about 10 minutes for 4meals and some desserts. Got home to find they forgot two desserts so I had to drive back. Got the same rude employee who handed me my order, but when I checked it was only one of the two desserts I was missing, cue me rolling back through the drive to get the other dessert. This place isn't so bad. Stopped here with my mom on our drive to the mountain. She grabbed us some food through the drive through but I got out to use the restroom while she did. It was clean and a decent place to stop for a pee break. Food was as I would expect from BK, I enjoy their grilled chicken sandwiches and fries. Only complaint is they didn't give my mom a straw. Maybe because she just got a cup of water? Still seemed odd though because it was in the same cup as a soda and made it hard to drink. We didn't notice one wasn't in the bag until we were far gone though. Otherwise, seems like a decent fast food place to stop in to me. read more

Never been so disrespected at a BK in my life. Pulled up to order noticed the display wasn't working. Ordered a double cheeseburger, shake and water. The wait was way too long considering only two cars ahead of me but when I got to the drive up the problem began. I was given my shake and water and then I handed the person a $20 bill and the 7 pennies for $7.87 order. She seemed to struggle with the change but when she handed it to me she basically threw it at me so the bills went flying in the wind. That was not the worst part. She had the audacity to start laughing at me because of her rude and poor money handling skills. I was barely able to get out and grab the money as it was blowing away. When I got back in my truck she and a fellow co-worker were both standing inside laughing like it was funny, never asked to help or apologized. Terrible service and then top it off the order was wrong. Stay as far away from this crappy not very fast food restaurant. You'll be better off to go down the street to McDonald's where the staff are polite. If these people worked for me they would now be unemployed. read more
