I went to this Birger King when the SpongeBob meal came out. I called at least 20 times and got no response. I was calling to see if they had the meal since the other one I went to didn't have it. This one on Ladson was a little far away from the one I went to previously. When I got there, I asked them if they had the SpongeBob Meal they said they only had the whopper burger but they didn't have the other side, drink, and dessert that comes with the meal. My plan was to call them and ask if they had the meal before I drove all the way there but I never got a response when I called. Have been to this location multiple times and have never been very impressed. They are finally under new management and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I received my order! Spent over $50 on what needed up being cold and incorrectly prepared food that we waited for over 25 minutes to receive. The customer service was a joke as the man taking our order was rude to my kids that said "please" and "thank you" in spite of his bothered demeanor. I went in to use one of the coupons that you get in the mail, and upon pulling up to the window I presented the coupon and my debit card to the employee- he took both. He then gave me my receipt and asked me to pull forward. I checked the receipt and noticed the coupon wasn't applied- it was a BOGO and I was charged $15 for two sandwiches that should have been $6. When I went inside to ask about the coupon the employee in a very rude manner told me that I needed to ask to use the coupon while ordering/not at the window. I said I didn't know that and asked if I could get refunded my money. He kept repeating that I needed to use the coupon while ordering not at the window and then finally yelled "Yes you can get your refund you've already said that 3 times." He then threw the money at me and walked away. There was a nicer employee who witnessed the whole situation picked up the money he threw. This Burger King location on College Park Road in Ladson is a great place to get a quick and quality burger, sandwich, and french fries. I like coming here in the middle of the day and sometimes for breakfast when I am really hungry and on this side of town. It is really easy and convenient to get in and out of here with what you need. I understand that good food takes time and they are well worth the wait to make sure that everything is right and delicious. I have been well satisfied with all of the food I have eaten from here over the many years and it has been consistently good and filling when you need it the most. read more

I know the food never looks like a picture, but mine was so far from being close to the picture. It look like somebody drove over a rat in the parking lot, scraped it up and put it on a piece of bread for me. It was a chicken spicy sandwich it was terrible. Someone else did a review and had a picture of their sandwich burnt to a crisp, mine looked about that way too. I called the manager and he just said sorry about that. I hate that this is the only Burger King around. They definitely know it. The drive through was wrapped around the whole building which is almost everywhere now but no one was inside besides 1 other person so I went in. Its 2:30 on a Friday. Took a bit to order my food but I get it, everyone is busy. There are 2 kids on the table tops screaming at the top of their lungs, fighting and hollering for their mom that is an employee and she stopped taking an order and walked over to work with her kids. I hate that it was so busy that she didnt have a choice. Out of the 5 people I saw working there only 2 were not playing around and 1 was genuinely concerned. It was 2 gentlemen that were trying to get the orders correct and bagged. (Why do you have numbers the same for drive through and in store? 2 number 16's seems like it would be a bit much for people to keep up with especially during a busy time.) They are the reason this was not a 1 star. If they didn't care, they were really good at faking it until making it. There is having fun to stay safe and there is playing around and neglecting your duties. This was the latter. My whole order took 24 minutes to get. Still faster than the other guys but of the 2 whoppers I ordered 1 was not to have mayo. It's a small ask. I ordered a whopper meal with no onions and a whopper sandwich with cheese, no mayo and no tomato. I was given a bag that had to meals in it. I tried to make sure it was the correct order since I didn't order 2 meals and was told it was fine. I got to my car and checked... I was given a bag of 2 whopper meals, 1 with bacon and 1 with cheese and both with LOTS of mayo. I went back and and was told he was making the correct sandwich. I specified definitely no mayo. I was assured it was the right one so I trusted it after having to come back in. I got them home and again.. the third whopper had tons of mayo on it that had been attempted to be scraped off. That is not the same. Meanwhile the other gentleman who was trying to make sure food was bagged had been looking for a whopper with bacon. Guess the 2 tickets with 16 was confusing after all. The person who can't eat mayo ended up not getting to eat. I know it seems like a minor complaint with everything going on but 24 minutes of screaming fighting kids taking away an employee from the busy time, another employee (that might have been the manager?) leaving during that super busy time, the food being really wrong, out of a few sodas, no ice, all the playing around, the others standing around in the back it was all a recipe for my patience being pushed after a very long day at work. Not sure if they cleared the drive through or if almost all of the cars left but there wasn't really anyone in the drive through y the time I came out so I am hoping everyone in the drive through was cleared including the cars that were pulled and I just was waiting. I see this same Burger King has insanely negative reviews here on Yelp going back over 8 years! I got off work late last Friday and didn't feel like cooking. Every drive thru was wrapped around the buildings. I thought I'd try BK...but they were closed at 8pm on a Friday. Today, I went to the store and thought I'd try them again. They were open...Unfortunately. Worst Burger King experience I've ever had. I ordered at the drive thru...it really didn't take long, but when I got to the window, the guy just stuck his hand out. I gave him my card. He handed me food and drink and then handed me my card back. Then walked off. Not one word. On top of that, no one was wearing any kind of uniform. The guy at the window was wearing a tank top. Someone else behind the counter in just a white t shirt. That's just disgusting. After I order and get ready to pay they say they are out of creamer and sugar. Told them I didn't want the coffee than. I'll have a sprite instead. Cashier wanted like .70 extra for a soda. I said I shouldn't have to pay the up charge in a situation where you didn't have cream and sugar for the coffee. She wouldn't accommodate. Here's another one from this morning. On the way home from work my wife and I decided to stop at Burger King to get some lunch. We started to order and through the mic we heard a bunch of people in background playing around. We thought ok no big deal as the woman could at least hear us to take the order. We ended up pulling up to the window and waiting so long the people in the cars behind us started getting out banging on the service window asking what is taking so long to the woman. We continue to wait as we watch cars pull up and burger king employees go out and deliver them food which appeared to be their friends as they conversated with them for several minutes. We finally got our food and we ordered chicken nuggets and got cold mozzarella sticks with no cheeseburger. We parked to go in to straighten out the order and it was locked and a woman came to door and said I got you and never asked what we was missing. We waited another 20 minutes for a bacon double and chicken nuggets and finally decided to leave when we seen a employee come out the door to give someone else there meal. My wife went to the woman and said don't worry about what we didn't get but that we where calling cooperate and just leaving. The employee turned around and was heading back inside and said to another employee that WHITE BITCH just called corporate on us! Since this store is practicing racism I would recommend no one to go there as that was uncalled for and if it was done the other way around I'm sure we can imagine what would happen to the store and or the person who said it. I've lived near this Burger King for 12 years. I have gone the last 10 years without ever going because it was horrible. Today I decided to stop there because it was super convenient and I assumed they would have it together by now. Nope. This place is absolutely terrible. Worse BK I have ever been to. It's just dirty and the owners / management don't care about standards, food quality or customer service. Since the leadership obviously doesn't care the workers definitely don't care. I got a milk shake and a double cheeseburger combo. The milk shake tasted horrible. I didn't know that is was possible to mess up a milk shake but they did. The fries were gross. I didn't even eat the double cheese burger or finish the shake because I'd rather not spend the next 24 hours by the toilet. Don't make the same mistake I made. Drive-thru line was incredibly long, but I figured we would make it through before they stopped serving breakfast. Got up to give my order and it was 10:32, after having waited nearly 20 minutes in line and another minute at the speaker. I then was able to give my breakfast order. I was told that they had stopped serving breakfast at 10:30. I drew their attention to the time and to the fact that the line had been really long. They asked me to wait another 7 minutes while they spoke to the general manager. The cashier finally came back on and asked for my order, I gave my breakfast order. The manager came on and said they were no longer serving breakfast, and was incredibly rude about it. This is just one of the many issues I've encountered at this location.
