If you can look past the location and immediate surroundings, open the front door you have found the spot. Enjoy

Jackrabbit Filly's is great!…read more The ambience of the restaurant is 10/10 - low lighting, very cozy. Seems like an amazing spot to get dinner, just a drink, or a nice lunch. I came with a couple friends and I got the peanut noodles with added pork - SUPER GOOD. The price was pretty on par, and the service was great. I hope to come by again!

My sister comes here almost all the time and gets that exact bowl that I ordered and she told me to order it and it was absolutely amazing. The dumplings were also exceptional. The dipping sauce that they had with them was very good.. I cannot remember what the drinks were called that I had but I had one that was made and then I had one of their frozen drinks and it wasn't too sweet. It wasn't one of those gross ones that you usually come across it was actually a good cocktail.. One of the bartenders was a little aloof we kind of sat there quite a while, waiting for him to refill our empty drinks for about 25 minutes, but other than that, everything was great and if you get a chance, check out the bathrooms, they are wild... in a good way. I would give this place 5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 because the bartender was not attentive.

To start Abigail, our waitress, was attentive, helpful, super sweet and just about the best waitress I have ever had. My wife and I ordered a round of cocktails, expecting the usual great description with subsequent lack luster drinks. Last night was different, midnight bloom which is their take on an old fashioned, but really in a different league; Smooth complex, and satisfying. My wife got the Ruby Ruby which is sort of a pomegranate martini with champagne. Refreshing and vibrant. For appetizers we had the blue crab fritters and the pork belly. The fritters were crispy, light, and full of crab flavor. Virtually no filler. I could have eaten a hundred. The pork belly was crispy, and rich without being too heavy. They also serve it in a white sauce that I was still thinking about the next day. For entrees we got the Roasted grouper and the pork shank. The grouper was maybe a bit overcooked and dry, but the accompanying butter beans stole the show. The were rich, and layered with flavor. I will never see the simple butter bean in the same way ever again. The pork was fall off the bone tender without being dry. The sauce it was served in was a masterpiece. There were hints of apple, berry, cinnamon, and many other notes, I would drink it by the glass if it was available. We split the gelato for dessert. Pure delight. Smooth, bursting with flavor, and leaving you wanting for more. All in all, except for a small misstep with the cook on the grouper a near perfect dinner. I would go there soon because a Michelin star can not be far off, and then getting a table will be a near impossibility.

Bites: Tuna Crudo, Pickled White Shrimp. Entrees: Charred Octopus, Seared Scallops, Cider Braised Pork Shank, Market Fish (Halibut). Veggies: Flash Fried Brussels Sprouts. Dessert: Chocolate Crunch Cake. Our server, Lillian, was really helpful with dietary restrictions and menu recommendations. Thank you for a memorable meal. If the dining room wasn't as loud, this would have been a 5 star review.

I am officially obsessed with this restaurant!…read more My mom is visiting from out of town, and since we live less than five minutes away, I finally decided it was time to try La Chev. I think they've created a monster because I'm already addicted. In fact, I'll be back this weekend when my next guests come to visit! We enjoyed drinks, split a salad (pictured is the half portion since we shared it), and shared the salmon. Everything was absolutely delicious. The outdoor patio is spacious, relaxing, and beautiful.....such a great atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of meeting Steve. He was amazing! He was so charismatic, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They are lucky to have him. I've already told my family I want La Chev gift cards for Christmas. I almost didn't want to leave a review because I selfishly wanted to keep this place to myself, but they deserve all the recognition. Hands down, this is officially my favorite restaurant in Summerville!

This place is SO much fun. It has that nostalgic arcade feel without feeling like you've accidentally wandered into a children's birthday party. The whole space is colorful, playful, and full of things competing for your attention in the best way. You can grab a drink, bounce between games, get a little unnecessarily competitive, and lose track of how long you've been there. I also love that it's in Park Circle. There's already so much to do in the neighborhood that Pinky & Clyde's makes an easy first stop, last stop, or the reason you came out in the first place. It feels social without requiring everyone to sit around a table making conversation all night, which I appreciate more than I probably should. The whole concept is just FUN. Not overly serious, not trying to be too cool, and definitely not another copy-and-paste bar. Charleston can always use more places where grown adults are encouraged to play games and behave slightly less grown. Pinky & Clyde's, you have my attention!
