Literally waited 30 minutes in an empty restaurant. The manager was the only person in the kitchen making good. She literally stood back there eating while I waited. Used the same gloves to eat her food and make others. The employees stood up front smoking a vape and laughing saying the manager doesn't care. I know we all have bad days but wow. This the worst customer service , their doors are opened but they service who they want , others are ignored until you ask if they're serving then they tell you to go to the drive thru. I ordered 4 milkshakes and got ice with a brown sludge at the bottom. Double whopper with 1/2 inch wilted lettuce and a 1 inch tomato slice with no onion or pickle. Why hate on me to support you. As soon as we walked in, the room smelled like a dirty mop. Whoever owns this location hasn't put money into it in a LONG time. The chairs were old and rusted. The front counters were worn out with paint missing. The walls had cheap dry wall and covered with red paint. Our booth had duct tape covering a hole. They said it would be 9 minutes for one of their new advertised special/side items to be ready. If the front of the store looks like this, I could only imagine what the equipment in the kitchen looks like. read more

You can be the only person in line and it stil takes them at least 5 minutes to come on the speaker to ask for your order(half the time it's more and I leave). Then, if you get to order you go to the window. Again, with no one behind you they still make you pull up so they can bring it out to you. That's the service, now on to the food. If you go through the drive thru, they will tell you to pull up past the window to wait. That is IF they will even take your order at all.. Many times they will ignore you all together at the drive thru until you give up and just leave. The staff always seems to be in a bad mood. If you are lucky enough to get what you actually ordered, the food isn't worth the money. The whopper has way too much mayo and the fries have no salt, no taste. We live in the neighborhood and occasionally patronize this restaurant. Their main problem is they never have register receipt so always say the printer is broken but when you complain to corporate, they miraculously have some then next day. Today, we utilized a promotion by Door Dash that had a $1.00 delivery if you ordered $10.00 worth of food. My daughter ordered three Whopper Juniors and a large order of onion rings. We watched the delivery guy on our phone app make his way to this restaurant (he was 20 minutes late) so we know this is the specific BK he picked up from. The food was cold, the Onion rings were only half full. We got in the car and drove up to BK and the cashier was rude. We showed her our electronic receipt and she scolded me that they don't do door-dash, walked away and screamed this guy is being rude to me and she wasn't dealing with me. I asked to speak with the manager and informed her that her employee was the rude one and explained our problem. She said that the delivery guy must have eaten our onion rings and she promptly replaced our order. The manager did the right thing but there is no excuse for the way the cashier behaved. When I said sorry I didn't know, she asked, "what are you trying to use"? When I told her se said you have to buy something for that. I tried to tell her I didn't but didn't have the option of showing her because I had already swiped the redeem button. I was appalled by the way she spoke to me. This was the most disgusting service. I receive cold ham on my breakfast sandwich. The manager was aware that Dr.Pepper needed to be changed and served me the beverage anyway. She told the service staff I'm giving this to her and to avoid confrontation I'd rather notify the word of her lack of leadership and customer service. She did not provide me with a receipt as I wish I would have tossed the entire bag back through the window but I smiled and drove off. It's times like these I wish I was a mystery shopper. This Burger King location is so awful I felt compelled to post a review in an attempt to draw attention from their corporate office to do SOMETHING about the management. I have never encountered such an unprofessional staff who obviously hate working there.... Nothing but bad attitudes when placing an order inside the restaurant and in the drive-thru. Making a simple request to add or take off anything on your sandwich is completely ignored....And if you point out that they made a mistake, just be ready for an even worse attitude back instead of an apology... God forbid they make an extra effort to read the specifics of the order on the screen...All they do now is throw whatever is sitting out already made in a bag because the loud, obnoxious conversations they are having with the other co-workers is far more important than actual customer service.The last 5 visits I have discovered when I got home, my order was wrong.... (wrong toppings/wrong drink) or something was left out of the bag that I paid for. Of course I try calling to complain and no one answers the phone.....EVER. My last experience in the drive-thru did it for me.... I had one drive-thru worker literally throw my bag of food at me after I looked inside to discover they had given me the wrong order. It took every ounce of my being not to get out of my car and throw everything right back at her. On top of the bad attitudes, rude service and wrong orders...be prepared to wait a long period of time to get your old, cold, soggy food. I stop at this location because of the convenience since it is closer to home but I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to spend my money there ever again. The staff needs to be trained properly or fired.... Live two blocks away from this location 1000 w. Esplanade in Kenner Louisiana. Have not received a receipt when I make a purchase at the drive up in at least 5 months if not longer. It is the same for a cash or credit card transaction . If you ask for a receipt they will tell you they can write it down on a piece of paper. NO JOKE! She said it was $5.01 and I can write it down.Today I ordered a Whopper fresh off the broiler at the drive up speaker. I was willing to wait for a FRESH burger. I pulled up to the window and the lady was already putting my hamburger in a bag then handed it to me. They merely put a dressed and wrapped burger in the microwave and reheated it. The lettuce was hot and soggy the tomato was hot and soggy as well as the onions and pickles and the bun was hot. Because they overheated the lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle there's was hot liquid juice in the paper wrapper which dropped on my clothes. Most times I have a Burger King meal I drive to a different Burger King location on veterans boulevard, but today I was in a hurry for lunch and went to this 1000 West Esplanade location in Kenner. My husband and I went there cause as a pregnant lady I was craving burger king. I wasn't prepared for the mess I walked into. After passing a mop bucket, broom, and dust pan we walked to the line with one person ahead of us, we were willing to wait considering the outside line was around the building. We waited about 10 min to place our order, then waited 25+ min to get our food(made wrong of course), but that's the least of their problems. 1st the cook had on neither a hair net nor gloves; didn't toast the buns, served the fries cold, and the fanta drink was pure carbonation.
