This review is aimed at the owner of this location. I'm sitting here, in your well-worn, what I can only describe as a cash cow of a restaurant thinking if you were willing to put in anything above the bare minimum you could purchase the staff some shirts that say "UNAPPRECIATED" to wear. You would only have to buy two, since that's the number of staff you think is appropriate to run the drive thru, cook, work the counter, and keep the front of the house picked up. Yeah, I saw your hiring sign. I'm not a betting man, but I'm willing to guess you're at a total loss why nobody wants to work for you, or why they don't feel a strong need to prioritize the responsibilities of bringing money in for your business over their own work life balance. Let's put it this way: how much is your overworked staff on the verge of burnout being paid to scramble to keep your restaurant running versus how much are you getting paid right now, wherever you are, doing anything but jumping in to help your staff? Because I bet if you had to be here flipping burgers to keep your business from going into default, you'd find a way pretty quick to resolve your staffing issue. I apologized to your staff (both of them) for being treated this way, because they deserve better. The two stars I left have nothing to do with how your business is run, I wouldn't even give you one star. I gave the extra star solely for the effort your staff put in. Ever time we come to this Burger King whom every is running it. Obviously doesn't know what they are doing. How many people work here? People want to make 15 dollars an hour. Attempted to redeem the coupon for 2 free kids meals during this COVID-19 pandemic via drive thru. Provided the code to the associate SB's she told me it wad not correct. I came inside the lobby per her direction. After speaking with a manager, I was told very plainly they are not participating. When asked for further explanation, was told they had no way of entering the code provided from the app into their system. I considered ordering inside, but after seeing several associates cross contaminated by touching ordinal devices, faces, e.t.c. and handle food without gloves I decided this wad my blessing. 11/2/22 between 6:30/7pm @ 11872 Lem Turner Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218 location, I had placed my order and pulled to the front window for final transactions. However, I was advised that I was supposed to stop at the very first window, which had not been used in any of the many visits I've made at this location. My credit card was taken by a female and she walked to the back to process it at the first window. Out of the blue, the young guy collecting my order responded, "Don't worry, no one's going to use your card, she just went to the next window to process the charges". I responded, "Well, if they do my credit card company will deal with them". My card was finally returned and I proceeded home. Mind you, this was only my second transaction in over a month with this credit card. The very first one, my card never left my hand/ presence. Approximately 3 hours later I get notification from my credit card company that a transaction to "Walmart Online" was declined for $87.03. Had I not maxed my card out with a payment for my child's college tuition, the transaction would have gone through. I immediately contacted my credit card company to inform them of this fraudulent activity and to close the account, ASAP! The transaction from Burger King clearly popped in my head from the initial attempt of this scam and I notified the representative of where my information had been compromised! I was informed that there were two attempts... the first one was for about $283... then the second attempt was made. I was LIVID! I called the store the next day and asked for the manager and was told by this female that they didn't have contact information for their DM/GM (BULL....) Playing games. All I got was a Mrs D/B... heck, it made no sense! I recall a time when such information used to be posted on the drive through window... NOTHING... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING POSTED. I ended up calling an 800# and spoke with someone there about what took place. Provided my contact information for that store DM/GM to contact me. I was advised that they did not have any information to provide, they just forward complaints and concerns through the system. When I tell you this is a bunch of BS! They don't have to worry about me patronizing the business EVER, EVER AGAIN! To- date, I've not heard a word from this company/ it's representatives. Nevertheless, I want you to BEWARE... if you must use your credit card, do so inside where you're the only one to touch your credit card! DO NOT!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT HAND YOUR CARD THROUGH THE WINDOW! Apparently someone's trying to capitalize off of the customers, instead of the employer or searching employment with a more suitable wage for their pockets. And with such a nasty habit,"May They NEVER Gain Such Employment, THIEF/ THIEVES" I hope this behavior lead to them being caught and held fully responsible for their disloyal actions. The place is filthy from the front door to the floor and even the bathroom. I walked to the counter to order and then 3 people behind the counter never gave a glance over to the counter. I waiting about 3 minutes or and asked for help. This is a newer fast food in the area. It looks really nice on the outside. I wanted a burger but decided to get a chicken sandwich. I got the new "cha king" It's nasty don't get it...I also tried the cheese tots. They were undercooked and did not even have cheese in them. There was only maybe 3 people working the whole store. They were so stressed, the line was so long. The food didn't take that long but it was just disgusting, probably sitting out all day. I am very sad and will not ever come back to this location. read more

Worst customer service I haven't seen in a long time. The young girl that took my order in the drive-thru hates her job and it shows! Management please Hire the right people or at least put the right people in the right positions! She should not be dealing with clients, she is super unprofessional and rude. Like you are bothering her with your orders. My advice to her is if she really hates the job so much! Just quit and let somebody the really needs the job do it... No one is forcing her to be there. I never in my life have done a survey like this but thats how bad she treated me. And I was super nice with her, because I work in hospitality industry and I always treat people right. Store is clean and wasn't overly busy at lunch in a Thursday. Staff was friendly. I had a coupon and they struggled to ring it up properly, but manager promptly came over and rang it up. This is the worst Burger King I've ever went to. First off the lady at the speaker said "You ready to order" that's not how your suppose to answer on the speaker. Second I got to the speaker and the lady was texting on her phone she had to finish texting before she open the window to get my card. Third she didn't have on a work hat just the headset. I don't know when the last time she washed her hands. Her work clothes just looked dirty and nasty . Fourth she started back texting on her phone while putting my food in the bag. People at this restaurant do not really want a job. I think they are purposeful in aggravating the customers. Its crazy.

This place is horrible. I have been here multiple times thinking something would get done. The staff is more worried about walking around outside and talking to people in there vehicles and looking sloppy smoking cigarettes and cigars outside the front door. The food is ALWAYS COLD. I literally just walked outside after the counter gave me my food and the chicken fries are cold. Not even slightly warm. The staff is rude and unprofessional, and there was a line of people returning there food. I threw mine in the dumpster beside 7-eleven. It's not even worth the fuss because nothing ever gets done.
