This Arby's is inside the pilot gas station. It's pretty clean. The employees are very nice and the food is still well done for a fast food place. The next-door Pilot gas station also serves as a truck stop so it has plenty of accommodations and items for sale. This includes other food items drinks as well asvehicle maintenance items.

They were out of roast beef 12/7/2018. Place looked nasty with trash around drink area, tables dirty and food prep area looked trashed.

Boy, was that a good decision. The staff was incredible in terms of service, recommendations, and made it feel like I had been a consistent customer for years. I grabbed the "ribeye in a sack" and tatertots with a drink, it shook out to $15. It tasted like $150. Now I will come back again for sure, even if it is out the way. If you happen to be the area, don't think twice. Make the right choice. You will not be disappointed. Thank you again Andy', see yall soon.

Andy's has a wide dining room and I know it get crowded. $14 dollars got me a Reuben all the way, French fries and an enormous drink. I did not get napkins and a straw in the bag but I did not ask either. The Reuben was hot and fresh. The fresh were warm and unsweetened Ice tea was oh so cold with a lot of ice to wash it all down. All and all, Andy' s sandwich shop was worth the trip in 3 minutes.

This is one of those places that we love but haven't been to in far too long. We both tried things that were new to each of us tonight as well, which was cool. I ordered The Ole Smokie, with everything on it and choose cheddar cheese. My first thought when it was brought to the table was "oh, I'll probably have to go at this with a fork & knife" but I decided to give it a shot as intended. I'm glad I did because the bread held up surprisingly well! As far as ingredients go, the brisket was good and smokey. There was a good mix of everything else and more than enough cheddar. My wife ordered the Chicken Cheesesteak. She also had a choice of cheese and she picked whizz. The thing that separates this from what people might expect is that it's chunks of chicken, not shredded chicken. She said that's not a bad thing at all, just a change from what some might exoect. She thought it was a welcome change. She liked their cheese whizz a lot and liked the roll as always, so she was glad she tried it. It's worth noting that both sandwiches were big enough that we both took half of each home. I didn't get the name of the two people that were working there this evening, but I'd still like to give then a shout out. They were both incredibly patient with the customers ahead of us and they didn't make us feel rushed even though we were there fairly close to the time they close on Friday evenings. Another good visit to Clarke Bros. Here's hoping it doesn't take us so long to get back here again for the next visit!

There's a dining room if you opt to eat in, but I often call ahead and take my order to go since I live nearby. Their daily lunch and combo specials are the way to go if you're a baller on a budget. The Hot Pastrami Sandwich Combo with Fries and a medium drink is only $7.99 (try it on a sub roll instead of regular bread), made to order, and always delicious. On Tuesdays, their lunch special is Country Fried Steak with White Gravy, Scalloped Potatoes, Green Beans, and a Biscuit for only $7.59. Their specials vary from day to day, so check out the menu pictures before making the trip! What we got: Cuban Sandwich: Everything you want in a Cuban is here. The bread is pressed and toasty with a nice crunch on the outside and soft on the inside, and the layers of roasted pork, ham, Swiss, and pickles are perfectly balanced. Every bite is savory, tangy, and satisfying. Fried Oreos: Soooo good! And the portion is HUGE. I'm not exaggerating when I say you get your money's worth. It's generously stacked, filling, and easily one of the biggest sandwiches I've had. Come hungry, or plan on saving half for later (though you probably won't want to). The quality matches the size, too. Nothing feels skimped on or thrown together. It tastes like a sandwich made by people who know what a Cuban should be. If you're in Jacksonville and craving a real Cuban, this is your spot. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Tip: Go hungry, because the sandwich is bigger than it looks!

I stopped by for lunch after being invited to try their Cuban sandwich, a fitting challenge for a shop that has built its reputation on oversized portions and doing things the old fashioned way. The bread is baked in house, the mojo marinade is made from scratch, and that attention to detail shows up in every bite. Calling this sandwich "large" doesn't quite capture it. It's enormous. Thick enough to make you question your strategy before the first bite, and easily enough food for two, maybe even four lighter eaters. Inside the soft house-made bread is a generous stack of mojo marinated pulled pork, thick slices of ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard. It's substantial without feeling sloppy, every ingredient has a purpose. The timing of this visit couldn't have been better. I had just returned from two weeks in Miami, where Cuban sandwiches and Medianoches were part of my regular diet. Those flavors were still fresh in my memory. Blue Boy isn't trying to recreate Little Havana. This isn't served on traditional crusty Cuban bread, and that's perfectly fine. This is Jacksonville's interpretation, a Duval Cuban that respects the original while confidently doing its own thing. The pork is juicy and packed with citrus and garlic from the mojo. The ham adds saltiness, the Swiss melts into every layer, and the mustard and pickles provide the sharp, tangy contrast that every great Cuban needs. It checks every box while carving out its own identity. Some sandwiches are lunch. This one is lunch, dinner, and maybe tomorrow's snack if you somehow manage not to finish it all. Blue Boy proves that honoring tradition doesn't always mean copying it. Sometimes the best local classics are the ones that confidently become their own tradition.
