Folks, this was RED, FRESH beef, not a gray, rigid, frozen puck being prepared for us. I don't eat a lot of beef, but this was definitely refreshing to see and there's even a promo poster of a newpaper article stating that there is NO freezer on the premises. The restaurant is clean, the music is subdued, the kitchen staff is visible and their banter is also subdued. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Once you're done, gather your papers, cups, sacks and such and dispose of them at the conveniently located receptacles. Even though there is no table service, there is a tip jar and I encourage you to please tip because the staff is responsible for cleaning after you depart and they deserve something for keeping such a clean place!
