Their customer service is always TOP TIER! I have never been inside, just drive thru! The employees here are what make this location THE BEST in my opinion! Food is ALWAYS PIPING HOT and well put together! Friendly faces on the speaker and in person at the drive thru window. I never had cold or burnt food. Always made to perfection! My favorite thing from here is egg rolls! And when they did have the popcorn chicken and mozzarella sticks, they were ALWAYS fried to perfection and with the perfect cheese pull! I live in Sacramento and unfortunately the JITB'S in my area just don't compare to Dixon! And if you know me customer service will always make it or break it for me! I am writing to share my deep disappointment with the delivery service provided through your mobile…read moreapp for the Dixon, CA location. Although the app offers a variety of customization options, I experienced significant technical glitches, including menu items vanishing and being restricted to only ordering boxes of chicken. Upon delivery, my order was missing two items. The driver informed me that drivers are not permitted to verify orders at the restaurant. Because my family was missing crucial parts of their dinner, I was forced to place an entirely separate, second order just to get the food we needed. I submitted a support ticket and had to wait two days for a response, only to be hit with an absurd request to provide pictures of the "affected items." I was never instructed to keep photographic proof when filing the original ticket, and more importantly, it is logically impossible to take pictures of items that were never delivered in the first place. Ultimately, I was told I would be refunded for just a single item from the original order and that the decision for the other missing food was final. They also completely refused to refund me for the duplicate delivery costs and tip of the second order that their mistake made necessary. To make matters worse, when I went back into the app to retrieve the receipt and information for that original order, the entire order history had been deleted from my account, and I have received no explanation as to why. I was charged for items I did not receive, and the combination of tech glitches, impossible demands, and defensive customer service has ruined my experience. I will not be using the app or patronizing Popeyes in the future. Amex agreed. The order was verified and I was charged for the whole thing. Popeyes seem to have the ability to do that correctly. Fulfilling the order correctly or providing the CS to correct it (when it wasn't correct) fell 100% short. Seems to be standard practice.
