Slowest. Drive-thru. Ever. And of course the milkshake machine was down, though they let me pay for one, after I'd paid but before my son had to settle for (cheaper, but with no refund) Sprite. read more

Awful. The place is dirty. The food is bad even by fast food standards and the staff is rude. Don't even bother door dashing from here since you can't directly tell them to be sure not to put cheese on things when your son is lactose intolerant because they will put cheese on it despite it being in the receipt saying no cheese. read more

The food was very dry and way to pricey. The service was terrible. We live about 30 minutes from Covington so the drive was long we order when it was dark for dinner. Well come to find out half our food is missing and we paid for the food. I call them and I get told that the person taking the call was not there and was in the bathroom so she couldn't help me so I ask to speak with someone else and some young man tell me that he can't do anything about the food being missing and by now it's already late so we aren't going to drive another 30 minutes to get the food. So they tell me if I can come back they'll give me my food. God knows gas is crazy expensive so I can't waste a whole half a tank for some food. The experience was terrible, half food gone, people were rude, and the place was messy and unsanitary. Would not recommend. read more

5 minutes at the box behind a lady getting yeld at because the BK employee couldn't hear her. I heard her in my car. She order 2 sausage biscuits and a coffee. Today I decided to check out a $3.99 whopper. I saw the commercial with the person in charge of Burger King about this. I ordered a whopper with cheese no lettuce or tomato & add mustard. It came up to be $5.67 total, I handed the girl a $20.00 she put it into the register. Once I taught about the change I then handed her a one dollar bill, that way I could get a 10, & 5 plus the coin change which is .33 cents. The cashier then tells me she can't make that change due to the fact that she can't put it in the register. This is pretty bad when cashier can't think on how to count up or down when handing change back to a customer. Management needs to teach their cashiers on how to make change instead of talking bad to the other employees about customers. Which I witnessed while sitting eating my lunch in the restaurant. read more

Samantha the GM came to the window after my order was completed incorrectly to tell me (with an attitude) that I needed to get it right from the beginning because I was holding up her line and shut the window. The order was communicated correctly and they prepared it wrong. I called later to complain about the unprofessional interaction and she said there was no one higher than her and she didn't have time to talk about my experience and hung up. read more

Have you ever thought to yourself, "this is the most vile food I've ever put in my mouth?" Well, just when I thought I've had the worst meal of my life, Burger King steps in to claim its victory as "Most Inedible Food To Date." Before even walking in, we were confronted by a homeless man cursing out an imaginary adversary. He was actually the friendliest person at Burger King. After walking inside, we were greeted with no AC and humidity, which mixed with the smell of the restaurant, felt exactly like a gigantic dog breathing its hot stink breath directly on us. Next, the food. I'm not entirely sure it's legal to call it food, but that's allegedly what it was. Our burgers were cold and rubbery, and the taste was reminiscent of burning aluminum. I'm fairly sure we're all about to die of food poisoning. The best thing about the meal was my Diet Coke. If you're ever thinking about eating Burger King, save your money and go lick an ash tray. At least you'll have saved 800 calories and likely won't get E. Coli. If I could give negative stars, I would. read more

Come on y'all. How do you Stay open. No pickles no onions everything COLD! And the burgers weren't as ordered. Come on!!! We have been in years and totally remember why. read more

I always avoided this location because the staff was horrible, unprofessional and very slow. The food was often cold with stale bread. In the last several months (8/2025) it appears that there has been a complete change in staff and they are EXCELLENT. I would NOW recommend this location, keep up the good work! read more

Lazy workers, from the manager down to the grill cook. They only had one of the three outside front entrance doors unlocked to the building at 7am. So I had to walk around the building trying all three doors to figure out which one would let me enter. Standing inside the store at the front counter, the restaurant is a ghost town. No workers anywhere to be seen or heard. I look around into the grill area and there is a tall grey haired woman standing alone. I call out "Hello" to her quite loudly with not even so much as a glance she continues making sandwiches. Mind you there are no cars in the drive through and I am the only person inside the building. This tall grey haired woman continues ignoring me and assembling sandwiches. Now, why is she assembling sandwiches if there is no one anywhere to be seen? I come to the conclusion that the customers do not get fresh food served here. And I can see two large metal food service trays mounded with cooked bacon sitting on a counter top. I use the toilet (restrooms are filthy of course) and come back to the counter. Now appears a lazy worker who looks at me three times and doesn't acknowledge me, say a word, nor walk up to help me. At this point I realize that these people are all inherently lazy and that I would have to find somewhere else to eat. Pathetic. read more

Utter garbage burger The bread was like a brick and the meat was extremely grainy for some reason. The inside is completely locked up for some reason & you can only go through the drive through. I was staying @ the country inn hotel next door so when I walked up I had to literally stand in the drive through window to make my order. I took about 3 bites and had to just toss it because that was terrible read more

Driving through and wanted something quick and easy. It was quick and easy, but the food was not prepared correctly. Ice cold ham, almost frozen. Had we not been driving, we would have turned around. How do you close at 1am and don't have food over an hour before that?? I ordered through DoorDash at 11:45pm and it said "preparing order", but they "didn't have" anything I ordered... I ordered an impossible whopper, fish sandwich and fries... Dasher: They don't have anything you wanted. I'm so sorry How were they "preparing order"? In their thoughts?? read more

Three employees and the manager present. There was no customers in the dining room and the system went down after we ordered our food so the manager told customers in the drive through they would be closed for 30 mins. Meantime instead of cleaning the dirty dining room and kitchen they all took a break on their phones...and my food was cold so i had to ask for fresh burgers. read more

Burger King - This is supposed to be a freshly cooked whopper !!! - Burgers Near Me - Covington, Louisiana

This location consistently allows you to order items on the app that they don't actually have available at the restaurant. I was driving off when I realized the order was not complete even though it was paid for in the app. When I waited a couple of minutes to finally get their attention and alert them to the missing item, they told me they don't have it in stock, and they forgot to tell me that. Burger King makes it very difficult to ever want to return to any of their restaurants again. read more

Horrible Horrible cold food! Just left about 5 mins ago and if we weren't on the way from GA to TX I would turn around and throw our whoppers back through the window!! A complete waste of $17! We could have used our $17 to buy fruit at the gas station and been more satisfied. Please save your money and go to the Waffle House on next door! Didn't eat there but hot food beats cold food that is supposed to be hot any day of the week! I will never return!!! Taking a pic, would be a waste of time! Management, please train your staff and stop serving food that I wouldn't even give to a pet! read more

So slow. So rude. Should have been shut down a long time ago! This place needs better management... I get it's hard to find people to work but this is crazy. Food takes about 30 min to get and it's nasty how they handle food. You would think they know we see all they do while in the drive through but nooooo. They don't care not one bit. They touch their hair n then touch food. I'm currently in the line and there are 4 workers and only one is actually doing anything but moving a snails pace. And no this is not the first time. Why would I return when it's like this you ask? Because it's the only burger king within miles and my daughter loves the chicken sandwich... go here if it's only the last resort read more

Worst food ever. We came before closing and we got fries that had probably been sitting in the pan for hours. Instead of cooking some fries they just used what they had to fill the container so we got old chicken nuggets in the fry containers also. The meat was cold and disgusting. The sweet tea had some chemical in it. When I took my first sip of the tea I threw up from ingesting the chemicals. The health department needs to pay this place a visit. Whoever owns this shithole of a business clearly couldn't care less whether they turn a profit or not. Pulled in Saturday night at 10pm on 9.9.23 and got "hold on" as a greeting. I'll just say the scumbag parasite who takes orders is more interested in simply drawing his minimum wage than actually servicing the customer. We left before the moron could accept the order because he became argumentative about HOW we were ordering. OWNER: listen to the recordings of this night and fire that POS. Or close up shop because you clearing don't care about earning a profit. read more

I like Burger King but I don't buy it from this location anymore because the drive thru people are all rude and they make you wait for a very long time. They give you the burger cold and the fries soggy. Onion rings tasted like a junk like they don't change their oil. I threw up after eating their food and I did not even finish it. If workers are not good, how could you expect that the food they make for you is at least decent? No quality control. LA Health department should be inspecting this location. read more

I ordered a few whopper Jr's and I instantly went inside to let them know that one of them needed to be on a potato bun because my dad is not able to eat seeds. No one had come over to me the whole time I was waiting so I tried to get their attention and only of the them looked at me and the others didn't pay me any mind. By the time they finished making the burgers; someone finally came over to give me the food and I had explained to them that I tried to get their attention and no one paid attention. When the lady told the cook that I needed one of the Whopper Jr.'s on a potato bun he complained. This isn't the only time this has happened either. This has happened several times. The service I'd not very good at all and they constantly make us feel like we're a problem. When they first opened they were busy as can be and within a week or 2 the place has had hardly any business. The only reason I still go is because burger King is my favorite restaurant and I like to go when I get home from college but they always make me feel like I shouldn't go anymore read more

It is always difficult to review a chain business, especially a fast food restaurant. When I do I often try and focus on what sets it apart from the other locations in an effort help others make informed decisions. What is different about this BK as compared to the other 11,200 locations? The drive thru is open 24 hours - That makes this perfect location to grab some grub after the bars close at 2:00 a.m. You could always go to Waffle House next door, but it can get crowded. The employees - I have been here a few times and I have yet to encounter a friendly employee. On my most recent trip the cashier taking orders was in an argument over the drive thru speaker. It was interesting learning about her personal problems, but I would have preferred to just order. The drive thru rules - They make you pull forward even if no one is in line behind you. I don't understand why they do this. All I want is a liter of cola and they make me pull forward. If you are on the prowl for some late night eats, I hope this review helps you make an informed decision. read more

Please close this branch, seriously. They literally have a different issue every time you go there. Yesterday their system was down, so they couldn't take orders. Before that, they had no meat and couldn't make anything that the franchise is even remotely known for. Before that, they were out of only burger patties. There's different employees every time you go as well, which says plenty. I thought it was just me, but as I scrolled through the other reviews, I can see it's a "them" thing, not an "us" thing. Y'all, go somewhere else. That highway is too convoluted for you to put in the effort to get there, only to be disappointed and turned away. read more

One star is to many . Food horrible. Maybe BK needs to concentrate on the Whopper . The International sandwiches ( Italian, Mexican) worst then bad . Drive thru menu does not reflect actual prices . Actual prices almost a dollar each more. No wonder all the BK's closed down in Mandeville . One bright thing of the whole experience the order taker was very nice and helpful. Long time since we tried BK and now we realize why. Never to return this time. read more

Wow. We sat at the drive thru order kiosk for about 10 min. A very slurred speaking teenager asked to take our order, repeated it back wrong then told us to hold on a minute. I think this is the worst managed Burger King ever. That's saying something. Service is awful.
