They had a ton of different, classic options to choose from. This is your typical drive-in burger spot. The staff gave some suggestions, which I appreciated since it was my first time there. My group ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich, the fish sandwich, sweet potato fries, and the jala bites. The food was hot and tasted good. I know you're wondering why we got fish, but I wanted something light! It didn't taste fishy and was yummy for a random joint in Cortez. The jala bites were a personal favorite, as they seemed homemade. It wasn't a classic jalapeno-cream cheese situation, but instead involved chopped jalapenos, nacho cheese, and it was all fried with a crispy outer shell. I'd come back for those alone! I'd definitely come back and try more. The price was fantastic too.

So fun and friendly they moonlight as professional best friends. The pineapple salsa hit like a tropical vacation I didn't know I needed. Nachos were great -- no notes. The pulled pork was so flavorful it made me question my plain-chicken era. The brisket? Fork-optional tender. And the mac and cheese was so creamy it deserves its own zip code. But the real villain? The Chubby Cow Taco. I don't know what sorcery lives inside that thing, but it now haunts my dreams in the best possible way. 5/5 stars. Will return. Possibly tonight.

Mac and cheese was also pretty good. The burger was beyond burnt. The fries were extremely salty and tasted starchy. The ambiance was perfect because there was basically no one there except one other family. Overall I would not recommend.
