Burger King is no longer the "have it your way" burger joint. I asked to get a breakfast sandwich with the bacon crisp (which I do all the time at other BK with no problem) and was told that they only cook it one way and that's what you get. Now, that would be no problem "if" they would actually cook it as it should be but they most always come with very par cooked bacon. The photos and adds don't show the bacon in that light as it's always cooked crispy and nice. The clerk couldn't care less as the restaurant sat completely empty at 7:30a and it's right off I5 exit. (We were the only ones inside the restaurant) finally we ordered and they repeated the order 3 times to us, somehow charged us for the wrong food and served us the wrong food. When I explain that I have a pickle allergy so I ask them to hold them, I expect no pickles. Seriously, that's their whole schtick. Special orders DO A SEEM TO UPSET THEM. Got there, took 10 minutes to get our food ordered. Once we got to the service window, it took another 10 minutes just to get told to wait in the parking lot. We got to the parking lot and had to wait another 10 minutes to get our food. When we got home, we got out all the food, and had gotten an extra thing that we didn't order. When we all ate our food, it was absolutely awful. Everything was so bland and the buffalo chicken nuggets were terrible, there was so much excess sauce at the bottom of the bag, and there were two bones in the chicken fries. Went to Burger king on Penninger Rd. in central point. Online as well as posted on their door and drive thru window states they are open till 12am. I sat in the drive thru waiting to order for about 5 mins but nobody came on intercom. I repeatedly said "hello" trying to get employees attention, but no response. So I drove up to he pay window and looked inside and saw a guy standing there on his phone doing nothing. I called the restaurant several times, no answer, knocked on window several times but was completely ignored. Im assuming his lazy ass just didn't want to do anything the last 1/2 hr, so he literally just ignored me, and who knows how many other customers b4 me. I don't like Burger Kings. This place demonstrates why I hate Burger King so dearly. French fries were not hot, and the onion rings did not taste like there was an ounce of onion on them. Pathetic. I did have a chicken $1 burger of some sort, but who goes to BURGER KING for the chicken! Really?!?! Apparently, I do because their burgers are very very UNfab. Just sang through the Central Point BK drive thru. Not only was the wait over 30 mins. When I got to the window the gal was at the window was not only handling the drive thru but the front counter. In doing this while wearing the same gloves to take cash at both registers she also handled my food wearing the same gloves. Not only is this cross contamination but with the added threat of Corona down right dangerous as money is filthy. So I commented and they rectified it by making me fresh stuff. To preface my remarks ... I virtually never eat at outlets like Burger King. I prefer to lunch at independent eateries where actual food is available and beverages aren't a choice of soda or ersatz milkshakes. However, I was out with my son and he longed for a veggie burger. Burger King, to its great credit, serves a very decent little veggie burger with a pattie that, when not over or under cooked (about a 50/50 chance), can be quite tasty. My son went up to the counter and placed his order - the longed for veggie burger and a chocolate milkshake. It took a few minutes to prepare. Again to Burger King's credit, they cook one's order when it is ordered rather than pre-cook and stockpile "food" to be tossed into a bag on short notice. When he peeled back the bun to apply ketchup he revealed a small-to-moderate sized burger with an actual red and ripe tomato slice and a fresh looking leaf of lettuce, sauce and a pickle. It looked pretty good and according to his testimony, it tasted good, too. The milkshake was "OK" and of decent size with a smooth, semi-thick consistency and a mild chocolatey flavor. The Central Point Oregon Burger King offers pretty decent fast food meals at very decent prices. The veggie burger was $3.99. Pie slices, which we didn't sample, were under $2 each. The milkshake was about $3. The restaurant was staffed by three people, enough to deliver a good level of service. The restroom had just been trashed before I used it by a non-dining visitor who left paper towels and water on the floor, soiled the toilet, and, interestingly, left a filthy pair of pants crumpled up by the sink. In the interest of hygiene, I opted NOT to wash my hands in the sink. I reported the bathroom condition to the gentleman at the counter who seemed to be directing the flurry of activity in the kitchen. He promptly grabbed some cleaning supplies and headed for the bathroom. Thus, the Burger King outlet staff moved quickly to resolve a problem that was not of their making for which, again, I give them credit. All in all, I would visit this restaurant again - certainly before patronizing the fast food competition. I might even eat here rather than just bring my kid. For what they do, they do it pretty well. read more

In my humble opinion, Burger King reigns on the same plane as Weinerschnitzel as the worst fast food restaurants. The only reason why I made the mistake of eating another Whopper is that it was Thanksgiving and all the other fast food shops were closed. Now I'm a man that'll eat nearly everything. I survived living on a 180 crew warship that went almost two weeks beyond the scheduled supply so the only food left was powdered milk/eggs and rotten perishables.
