Stopped here with my dad and we got food to go for our family. This place has been updated with a double drive thru. The lady associate spoke very clearly and took our order and was patient with my dad. The Whopper cheeseburger and onion rings were very tasty. I would recommend this place to others read more

1/30/24 I just stopped by this Burger King on North Street in Anderson. I see they are just as bad if not worse than before. I used the drive thru. I had one car in front of me was all. Another pulled in and they got served ahead of me after 10 minutes of waiting just to get served. After ordering they still got the order wrong. This seems to be a theme here. The bacon melts I ordered were horrible. The onions and grease were so thick. I will never be going back again. I'm a local so I will be spreading the word as well. read more

I dislike the attitude from the girl at the counter. I ordered without speaking to anyone. They didn't even say hello. Not a single word. It's rude. I don't get all the low ratings for this location. It wasn't THAT bad, actually it was a quite pleasant experience. Maybe it's just people that have something to complain about are the only ones posting. This Burger King has super easy freeway access on and off the 5. I arrived and there wasn't any line. I'll say upfront, I hardly ever go to Burger King without a coupon deal. If I'm going fast food food full price, I'll do In N Out or Habit Burger first. But if I need something quick and cheap, Burger King with coupons fits the deal. This time I'm using the coupon for the 2 bacon cheeseburger meal including 2 bacon cheeseburgers, fries and a drink all for just $4.00. Yeah, the bacon cheeseburgers are a little on the small side, but hey, ya get two of 'em! All i did was give the coupon to the cashier and the coupon number was entered and that's it. I waited while they cooked and made the burgers. I noticed the fries were fresh outta the fryer so nice a hot! I ate inside and got a drink refill before I left. The burgers were good as expected, no not as good as a Double Double at In N Out, but for the price, pretty decent. The dining area was clean and I had a fine experience at this location. You ever notice reviews that say I've always had a good experience here, but THIS time bam one star! So, you only post a review if you wanna complain? This place just newly remodeled should be great. Burgers cold, fries cold, order wrong, and watched 3 other customers come back to complain about their orders while we were waiting. I'm very disappointed. Also, you can only use one coupon at a time now. Called for half an hour and the phone is busy. Awful - food tastes good if you can the right order. The last two times I went there they got the order messed up. 1st time I ordered I ordered 3 Double Bacon Burgers + extras - I got home & NO bacon on any of the 3 burgers even though I paid for it. 2nd time I ordered 2 Double Bacon burgers & a Double cheese burger + fries & 3 Chocolate milk shakes & 1 vanilla shake. I was told order comes to $37 +, I get to the window to pay & the girl says you owe $40+. I said I was told the total was $37+, she says you ordered the Meals (which I did not). She found the order that I placed, I paid the $37+ then when they give me the order they only give me 2 chocolate shakes & a vanilla - I ordered & paid for 3 chocolate & 1 vanilla shakes. If you do want to go to this location makes sure you check on the order they are giving you before you move your car. After messing up two times in a row I don't think I'll go back. I went to this location and had a poor experience, when I arrived I was the only customer in the lobby and there was no one in the drive thru, the cashier was dancing to the music playing, he greeted me promptly, he accurately took my order, then some other customers arrived in both the lobby and drive thru... I then started to notice the cars we were getting their food first, the other customers were getting their food. So I asked about my order and after a brief moment I was told that they skipped my order on accident, I ordered it twenty minutes ago I said, they made my order correctly and only offered to make my small fries large with a cheesy apology... Again when I placed my order I was the only customer, how do miss my order when I'm the only customer there. read more

It all started when we, a group of three road weary travelers, found ourselves hungry. A member of our group had recently been reminiscing about a transcendental fish sandwich he once got at an anonymous airport Burger King. As such we decided to swing on through the drive through in Anderson, California to see if we could recreate the experience. Unfortunately I would not call this a transcendental experience, but I will say: it was delightful. The cashier was cheerful , clear voiced, and masked. Possibly clairvoyant? Who knows. The food was as good as one can expect from Burger King. The fries were a bit light on the salt. However we are a self described group of salty salt lovers. If you, like us, choose high saline satisfaction levels, may we suggest adding a bit of salt to your ketchup before dipping. The most marked grievance that we found was that the drive thru menu is not lit up so it was difficult to decide what to order! This could be fixed and may be helpful for to future patrons as well. read more

******UPDATE****** Look for a special report on this Burger King and their hiring practices. You'll know when it's out I promise. This is one of the top few fast food joints I will no longer visit, in fact I will avoid this place like the plague. Horrible service, when you can even get service that is. Last time I went in was the last straw. I was looked at by a little guy, with an 80s moustache, who was roaming around the back. I thought he would tell someone I was waiting at the counter but no luck. The girl just kept waiting on the drivethrough like I wasn't even there. Not even a courtesy, "Be right with you", was offered. She stood just out of eyeshot when there was a break in the drivethrough traffic so I couldn't catch her attention. The last time I tried to eat there I wanted a hotdog but they were out of mustard, or so they said. I moved to Anderson 4 months ago and I now have to travel into Redding when I want Burger King. This is a poorly managed Burger King which must depend on travelers business and not care about repeat customers. They need a competent manager and staff. I usually like to get a quick bite here, but this time I was disappointed. A couple of employees were out front on a break, and they were very loud. They were talking with a sketchy character. They were also loud behind the counter. When I was eating my food, a lady came in with her dog (no, it wasn't designated a service animal). Negative 5! McDonalds was packed so I went across the street to BK. There was only ONE person in front of me so I thought I was in luck. Mcdonalds had about 10. Well I guarantee ALL the people at McDonalds were done before me. First they have me hold. No big deal. Then I order 2 HAM EGG AND CHEESE. I said it twice. I pull forward and then sat there for 5 minutes waiting just for 1 person who got ONE bag in the end, so its not like they ordered the whole menu twice or something. Then the next person is 1-2 minutes. FINALLY! It is my turn! So by this time I had been waiting over 10 minutes for 2 people ahead of me with small orders. I'm pretty pissed. It was supposed to be a quick 10 minute trip. I told him take on sandwich off cause I don't want to pay them that much for the extended wait. Then they can't find their register card...another minute wasted. He removes it, give me my bag, then asks if I want my coffee..."Thats a clown question bro!" DIDNT I PAY FOR MY COFFEE?! Yes I want the damn coffee Einstein! So he fills it half way then walks off...comes back about 2 minutes later, fills it the rest of the way and apologize. While all of this is happening the "order taker" for the drive thru is simply doing that, nothing else. Not helping other than talking on the mic.
