Jack in the Box - Fast Food Near Me - Anderson, California

Charged me for the wrong order 44 dollars, ordered 6 tacos. Took about 20 minutes to get my order. Not so fast food and dude at the front had a pretty poor attitude. read more

There's a Jack in the Box just around the corner from our house. I work at home and it's a quick, convenient place to grab lunch. But from now on, I will drive farther and grab elsewhere. Today I decided to try an alleged hamburger called the Bonus Jack. I also got a Chocolate Overload cake on a separate order as an afterthought. The little round chocolate cake weighed more than the "hamburger." And it was BIGGER! Jack in the Box clearly holds its customers in bitter contempt. I paid $4.99 for that tiny hamburger-shaped refrigerator magnet (and that's about how it tasted, like a greasy refrigerator magnet), and as far as I'm concerned, it's $4.99 that Jack in the Box owes me (I'm not holding my breath--but I'm holding my middle finger in the air). Let's face it, folks: Jack hates us. It's pretty obvious to me that the person who designs their menu was given one instruction: "Insult them." With the "Bonus" Jack, they succeeded in abundance. Again, in my case (I've been disgusted with them the last three visits). But for the last time. The word "bonus" suggests something beneficial, something over and above what is expected. The "Bonus" Jack is beneficial to no one--except Jack, who must be making quite a little profit from this culinary hoax. Technically, it isn't even a hamburger--it's a SLIDER! I think every person who buys one of these adorable little abominations should immediately sue Jack in the Box for fraud. If we could get enough people together and file a big enough class action suit, maybe we could shut this bad clown down, which is what he deserves. The chocolate cake was okay, about as good as anything from Hostess or Little Debbie. But compared to the "Bonus" Jack, it was haute cuisine. If you absolutely must patronize this customer-hating fraud, don't have the "Bonus" Jack unless you involve your attorney. I, for one, am done with the clown. His food sucks, his service sucks, and he can shove both up his pointy clown hat. read more

The food is good, but the price doesn't add up. Don't order inside if you're in a hurry. Be prepared to wait 10+ minutes for 2 burgers & fries. Seems like they prioritize the drive through over inside orders at an unbelievable ratio. Guy at the register asked for my order and then bolted to the office before I could begin my order. Employees I will probably think twice before coming back here. read more

Service was great! The lady there was awesome. She even gave us extra ice and tacos! Chicken strips were hot and fresh and there was plenty of sauce! read more

I would rate it a 0 if I could there were creeps staring so we went in the drive thru and it took forever and after about 20 minutes we got our food and we got the wrong food. We had no sauce and didn't even offer and tasted terrible. The ambiance did not vibe everyone was crappy and the service could be better. Overall my family is very unsatisfied. read more

Was in line on Christmas day and heard the customer in front of me tell the cashier Merry Christmas. The cashier reflexively replied "Merry chr...." then covered her mouth and looked around to see if anyone heard her. I was looking at her and she told me that they are not allowed to say Merry Christmas. I told her that I had nothing against her but will no longer spend one penny at Jack in the Box because of their non Christmas policy. It's a shame that they hate the idea of Christmas in general not just Christians. I am not usually a person who will boycott, or call on others to boycott a business because of their policies, however, this is just hateful to make their employees do their anti God bidding and even on Christmas day, especially to a customer who already said Merry Christmas first. Shame on you Jack in the Box. You just tried to destroy Christmas. Children will know that you forbid saying Merry Christmas you evil demonic grinch. read more

They are the most inefficient restaurant of any kind, fast food or a real restaurant come I've ever experienced in my life! To say that the customer service and efficiency is bad for a fast food restaurant is saying a lot, because most fast food restaurants miss the word "fast" and how quickly they're supposed to shell out the orders. I worked for fast food and it's supposed to take an average of 2 minutes per customer.it takes 25 to 30 minutes and that's whether you are in the drive-through line or standing inside waiting. You would get a much better quality meal and probably less length of time if you just went to a real restaurant. I have given them 3 chances in the past 4 months and this was the last time tonight. Both the manager and the employees have no idea what time efficiency means. They are overwhelmed whether there's 2 cars in line, 8, 2 customers inside with no one outside, doesn't matter, they take absolutely forever no matter what! They need to be shut down! read more

I don't know why this place has such low ratings. Literally every time my husband and I come here (and that's a lot because we're late night snackers), we have amazing service and well-prepared food. To me, this is outstanding. I used to hate getting burgers at Jack in the Box, because every other store I've visited has terrible tasting burgers, but I love the Jr. Jacks at Anderson. Honestly, though, our favorite thing about this location is the service. All the employees we've interacted with have been super friendly, helpful, and obliging. Give your local Anderson Jack in the Box a try! read more

this is the worst place I have ever eaten in. Outside is surprisingly nice and clean. However inside feels like in the barn. So many flies. Every where is dirty and not clean. The lids for the cups do not fit in. I did not check out the restroom because I thought it is even worse and I was already so disguised so I did not dare to go in there. I thought the food will make me happier, but I was wrong. The food is not any better. The French fries was raw. The burger was so hot, feels juke it just came from hell. Not even saying that the customer service is very very poor. People waited to order their food about 5 min. Is this a fast food? On top of that the uniforms of the crew members were so dirty and messy. How you suppose to represent the company in this attire? I liked Jack in the box, but after this time, I doubt I will ever dare to eat here again. read more

Longest drive thru I have ever sat through, and this is not the first time but it will be the last. 28 minutes total, only 4 cars in front of me. Are you kidding me?! Also, if your milkshake machine isn't working, put a sign at the start of the drive thru because I definitely would not have sat through the drive thru if I had known that. Definitely won't make this mistake again, not that they care. read more

Horrible customer service Didn't let my boyfriend order without talking over him so I didn't get what I wanted. THANKS.. NOT

Happened to be in the area and was hungry so we stopped despite past experiences that weren't great. After my last review, management said they cleaned up so I gave it a chance. Staff was friendly (made sure we had sauces ect..) and the place was actually clean and without a single fly in sight. Better than either of the Redding Jack in The Box stores. read more

My husband went during lunch hour today (Thursday) via drive thru. He ordered a fish sandwich (which they are supposed to carry now) and was told it wasn't always available, so he asked for a chicken salad instead, a chicken sandwich and a large order of curly fries. You would think the chicken would be cut up on the salad, it was not, and the order of fries was nothing but bits and pieces that was at the bottom of the basket. There wasn't one full fresh curly fry in the whole thing- worst fries I've ever seen. What's the manager doing about quality control? Food Is too expensive for this kind of service. We've gone to this specific restaurant many times, but this is the worst I've seen. Husband said chicken sandwich was good, and our dog liked the fries- but he'll eat anything. read more

Jesse the guy at the cashier is super rude. We were let in two minutes after eight when the lobby was closed by a diner that did not know it was closed. He lost his professionalism and then was rude throughout the whole of our party of ordering. I don't know who people think they are representing but I'm sure JACK would not appreciate his attitude not the way he told the other customer to "DONT OPEN THE DOOR THE LOBBY IS CLOSED!!!!" He was super rude and most definitely unprofessional, I don't usually come to this Jack in the box due to the service not being great and Jesse reminded me of these reasons. Super poor satisfaction Jack, the receipt says hiring all positions, which I assume he will be replaced at some point but man he should go into janitorial work it would fit his potty attitude and potty mouth. Get a mop bro stay away from customers your not in the right position. Bad day or not! Crazy how the post from three years ago had no administration reply I'm sure they don't monitor cause the service seems at the same diminished level it's always been. read more

Insanely long drive through! Waited twenty minutes to get to the front of the line, paid, then waited another 3 minutes to get my food.

Arrived to find the staff walking out and saying lobby is closed, use drive through. At that moment they realize the drive through is being cleaned. The staff laughs shrugs and states "dang out of luck tonight I guess". read more

What an interesting experience at this location. Very dirty restaurant; all the trash cans were full and brimming with trash, the tables were covered in food and crumbs, and the wait times to even place an order were very long, despite only one person ahead of us. There was an older lady employee behind the counter, who kept yelling, and getting agitated with customers and her coworkers, before finally storming out. I think we waited around tn minutes to place an order and another twenty minutes total for the food to come out. The food wasn't bad, but the clientele here is very strange, creepy almost. I wouldn't recommend this location. read more

I have a 30 minute lunch break from the time I placed my order at the speaker till the time I received my food was a total of 18 minutes this is completely unacceptable the curly fries were ice cold and the lid was not even placed on the cup All the way by the time I got it from the window to the inside of my car it was spilled all over the place this place needs some serious attention avoid at all cost read more

We went to this jack in the box location (Anderson, CA) today we arrived at 11:10 am and there was five(5) cars ahead of us it, after placing our order 4 adults in the car 3 seniors and a disabled vet we asked for some modifications and after waiting 17 minutes our order was incomplete and wrong, plus to add insult to injury we were treated rudely by the gal at the first window (according to staff members her name was Raven). This person needs to be taught proper rules in how engaged with the public. We went back thru and another 12 minutes and just asked for the manager(her name Shelby) and explained what happened and hamburger's were uncooked and items requested to not be on the hamburgers were doubled. We requested our money back and was given a third degree. We never have this problem when we go to Red Bluff, Corning, and Chico and we usually our group meets once a week, just to get out of the house and we go to the local casinos. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS (local or not). read more

24 hours, breakfast 24/7! End of review. Hahaha No as an east coaster I had heard of this place and it appealed to me, but I'd be damned if I could ever find one. Now living on the west coast I have tried it a few times, and it should really teach McDonalds a thing or 10. The burgers are good, the curly fries are awesome, and the tacos are bomb. I had a terrible experience here. I got completely ripped off! I ordered a buttery jack and the patty was burnt and it was thinner than a McDonald's patty which is depressing. The buns were black. The food here is way overpriced and it also took 10 or more minutes to just get my food. All of the soda from the soda fountain was flat and tasted like syrup. Also, the checkup packets were haft empty and the hot sauce tasted like checkup so there was no spice. Overall my experience was terrible and my burger tasted very bad and I was traumatized. It also ruined my appetite for the day. DON'T COME HERE! IT'S TRASH! read more

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. It's 2am and I needed to write this review right now because that's how awful this place is. I literally just left and oh my gosh was it a crazy experience. So my husband and I are driving back to Sacramento after a visit with family. Before the 3 hour drive back we decide to get food cause we are starving. We pull up to order and dude over the microphone is HIGH AS A KITE. Like holy crap was he high. We had to repeat our order TEN, yes ten times and it still wasn't correct. We gave up and just pulled forward. As we get in line to the window I look at my husband and ask if we should continue to get food here because with the cashier being as high as he was I started to question the condition of the food. As we are thinking this over, a rather questionable guy walks straight up to the drive-through window! Like what the hell?! So freaking sketch. You bet your booty we drive right on through. Never. Ever. Again. read more

Husband and I, on our question get home, and not having anything to eat for 15 hours or so, made the fatal mistake of stopping at the Jack in the Box in Anderson. DO NOT do it!!! Crack head at the front door, staff was fighting loudly with one another because no one wanted to clean up a water spill. Bellowing employee announces 'hygiene check, time to change your gloves!' And asking the next customer in line 'may I help you?' Then turns her back on her and commences to gossip about mgt to the cook...
