They have the worst burgers I have ever eaten. I wanted to vomit my burger was still bleeding all over my bun and made it soggy and gross. Unacceptable. I have eaten at Burger Boy on several occasions and have found the quality of the food very good. Today, I arrived fifteen minutes after opening and found the place filthy. The bathroom was disgusting and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was dirty. Food quality was good, however I question the cleanliness of the kitchen since the restaurant was so dirty. I had the special (cheese burger, drink and fries for $5.99) for lunch today (had tots for my fry selection) and the burger was delicious and the tots were perfect! My daughter had the patty melt and the breads was toasted to perfection. Prices were good (especially for the special!). Glad we stopped! We never would have known except for other yelp reviews. Decided to try out burger boys after reading multiple reviews about the quality of the food there. Once I arrived and was ready to order the man came over to find out what we wanted to order. I noticed right away that he kept his gloves on while writing our order down. He took my card, started scratching his face (with the gloves on still), then after he proceeded to go and finish making the food he was working on. While waiting I looked into the kitchen area to reassure myself that maybe the gloves were an honest mistake and he forgot. The kitchen was filthy, it looked like it has never been cleaned. I noticed in between the burgers he was making he decided to pick up some lettuce and put it in his mouth (again same gloves). After sitting down, the table definitely needed to be cleaned but with only two people there and both cooking, i suppose they just didn't have the time to clean the dining area. I went ahead and ate here even after seeing the disgusting place and the employee not changing gloves based on the fact there was a good amount of people in the restaurant that seemed like it was nothing unusual. After getting the food it tasted great. It's a shame that they can make food that taste so incredible but ruined it by being filthy. I will not return based on the filth of the entire restaurant alone, no matter how great the food actually was. read more

Excellent burgers but if you order the Double Burger just know that you are getting a full half pound of beef. You will most definately not be hungry when you leave. Service was great. Best burger I have had in a very long time. Order the mozzarella stocks. read more

Just finished eating here for the first time. The burger was good. Not great, but good. However, the woman at the counter was as friendly as a rock and I'm not sure anyone cleans tables. Needless to say, there are plenty of better places to eat in Murphy! read more

Found this place because of the Yelp reviews. Great juicy cheeseburgers! You can tell they use good beef. Incredible sweet potatoes fries that were perfectly crispy on the edges and dusted with the right amount of cinnamon! Great service and clean bathroom. Will definitely stop again when we come through the mountains. read more
