Went for lunch and ordered a Frisky Whiskey burger, black and white shake and a half and half fries and onion rings. Order arrived at our table within a very reasonable time. This place is great! Food is delicious, service is quick and friendly. We've dined in and ordered takeout on app and have never had any problems. So happy to have an actual family friendly eatery on the island that isn't $$$. The staff work hard to keep tables clean and bussed so you can sit down and assist through out the meal. In fairness, I'm not particularly a fan of quick service burger joints (with the exception of the seminal White Castle) but Burger 25 serves it up well. Burgers were enjoyed by all, especially the kids. Although, while I never met a french fry I wouldn't eat, I wish they weren't coated. Not bad; just not my preference. Service was youthful, friendly and efficient. As for the atmosphere, it was as one would expect. Decor was interesting. I guess black is there look...but given it's a few hundred yards from the beach...a brighter look might work better. Fairly priced. You don't say that often on LBI! read more

This place can get crowded and the seating is not ideal. If you get take out, make sure to check the bag before you leave. My favorite is the veggie burger and onion rings. Kids chicken is consistently good. Drinks (like Snapple and Prime) are overpriced. The shakes are always so good. read more

We went yesterday at the LBI location, everything was amazing. The Avocado Burger and the Philly burger, onion rings, French fries and the Sweet Potato fries was AWESOME! Food is fresh, top quality and they give you a lot of money. They have a great system and they're fast and also I would like to add the people that work there are wonderful, welcoming and amazing. Finally got to try this place out.... Sooooo goood .. Burgers were so fresh melted In your mouth ..Got a double smack burger and double Texas burger .. all fresh ingredients can't wait to go back .. We went here for the first time yesterday to try it since it is new to the island this summer. I had their classic cheeseburger, boardwalk fries, and the creamsicle milkshake. The cheeseburger was very good and was similar to shake shack with the sauce they use. The fries were not like boardwalk fries at all, I would skip these the next time I go. The creamsicle shake was pretty good and had a fresh orange flavor. The line was a little long, but it moved extremely quickly. All of the tables were taken as well when we arrived, but we were able to find one after a few minutes. We waited for the food to come out for about 10 minutes, which was pretty quick considering how many people were in the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is an upscale burger place. I really liked the ceiling lights that spell out Ship Bottom. Their prices are also extremely reasonable for the island! If I am craving another burger, I'll definitely come back to Burger25! read more

Service: we ordered at the register and did take out. Cashier was knowledgeable about gluten free options (they have GF buns) and friendly. Was only about a 5 minute wait for our food to come out. Food: for the price 10/10. It's great quality for the price. Obviously you can't compare to a $30 Kobe beef at a steak house but the meat tasted good and cooked nicely. Only draw back was patty was a little thin, but for the price is understandable. Fries were delicious (we got Jersey fries, regular fries (steak cut), and sweet potato). We will definitely go back. Stopped here during the rental turnover after seeing good reviews. This is the old Surf Taco stand with a cozy indoor seating area and an outdoor window for milkshakes (and dog treats for those bringing their four legged friends). We had our dog with us and sat outside. While it was covered seating we wish there were tables (there were picnic tables off the porch but they were put on top of each other). The burgers were well seasoned and a nice size, with a homemade onion roll. They were a little greasy for one of our guests but were otherwise very good. The fries had an aioli, though they were on the heavier side and could have been a little crispier. We ordered classic shakes, and my chocolate shake tasted like blended chocolate ice cream (some may prefer a "black and white" style that uses vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce). Service was great - they brought our food outside and, when we asked if there were knives to split a burger, they had the kitchen cut it for us. We ordered a doggie sundae for our dog but it was rung as a dog burger (an unseasoned patty with cheese in a bowl). She went straight for the cheese but once we cut up the patty, she devoured it in no time. Overall, this was a nice casual option for year-round food on the island, with generally reasonable prices (expect Shake Shack rather than McDonald's). read more
