The cookie dough dipped in chocolate and chocolate cherries looked amazing. They were making chicken cutlets. I was extremely close to getting a chicken cutlet sandwich. They use their oven roasted beef for the cheesesteak. I was surprised how different the texture was from a steak. $8 cheesesteak. Breakfast is very subjective; especially standard American breakfast staples like omelets, eggs and bacon platters, waffles. However, that is where the underuse of season here is actually a smart strategy. Most of these dishes would be seasoned with salt, pepper, or by some, butter or hot sauce. All these items are readily available and placed on the table in food quantity so that the diner can easily bring their meal to the exact taste that they enjoy. In doing this thought, nothing really shines here. It is all very good, but nothing it really unique. And that is good thing especially when you are looking for a place to enjoy breakfast that's a down-home style meal and you don't want to have to cook. I will definitely be back again for another homestyle breakfast in the future, and the prices are more than reasonable. If you live in the area this is a great place to frequent for a breakfast you would make yourself or would expect to have if you stopped home for the day. I immediately fell in love with these decadent, moist, and melt-in-your-mouth little spheres of joy on a stick. The business seems to run primarily on wholesale and custom orders for private and corporate events, but individual retail orders are welcome. I don't think there's a storefront but you can purchase direct from their processing facility in Glen Mills or order online for pickup. They also ship nationally. The classic collection is always available, with changing seasonal and themed pops to keep things interesting. I've ordered for delivery to NY a couple of times, and while the shipping ain't cheap (it's fresh food and packaged accordingly, after all), I haven't found a better source of high quality made-to-order cake pops in northern NJ and Rockland County. (If anyone has any leads, please tell me!) I called to ask about the shipping/receipt timeline as the website isn't entirely clear (Maryellen herself answered!), and was told they ship orders Mon/Tue/Wed via FedEx and I'd likely get my order the following week. It took less than 2 weeks for the order to arrive the first time. However, on this occasion, when almost 2 weeks passed without any shipping notification in my inbox and fearing they'd forgotten my order (and realizing in panic that if it doesn't go out by the next day, Wednesday, my order would be too late for teacher appreciation week), I called to check on the status of the order and explained the situation. To their credit, they took care of the issue right away and overnighted the package to me. So I appreciate the responsive customer service, and add points for having a real live human on the other end who picks up immediately, when I'm so used to repeatedly and futilely shouting "AGENT!" into the phone in this era of automated answering service hell. So, do allow at least two weeks to receive your order, even for a single box of ten. Bulk orders might take longer. I'm told the pops will keep for 3 months in the fridge, or 6 months in the freezer, but probably you'll want to eat them as fresh as possible.
