    Egg tarts

Got egg tarts. They were decent. Underbaked in the middle, but the pastry was flaky and beautiful. The interior is gorgeous. They even have an old-fashioned menu that shifts now and then. The service and banter were what made the experience great. I'm glad students have this gem accessible to them. I wish we'd had it in our year.

It's nestled between craft and convenience in Swarthmore. Though small inside, the ambiance packs a punch. From tile flooring to wicker baskets. It's always clean and pastries are neatly displayed. I have been to Pastry Pants a handful of times now. Each time I am welcomed with a smile. It's usually the same girl; whom I love seeing. I think I enjoy her service just as much as the pastries. On this visit I grabbed a chocolate mole empanada; having zero knowledge of what chocolate mole was. However, what I did know from a prior visit was the empanadas are delicious! And this one did not disappoint. It was full of flavor, the chicken was juicy, the pastry was buttery...yum. I indulged and also purchased a chocolate chip scone and millionaire shortbread. The scone had a hard, crispy exterior with a pillow soft inside. As for the millionaire shortbread, I prefer the shortbread by itself. Stop in and try a treat yourself. If you don't like any of items I mentioned. I highly recommend the carrot cake.

They started off of TooGoodToGo very recently and I tried their TooGoodToGo. The deal is on par with Maman's TooGoodToGo but Maman's variety is better than the bag I got here. I felt it should've been priced at 3.99 since I got three pastries that looked kind of the same. Their sandwiches sounded good but didn't get a good look at the price. Place looked kind of busy for a Wednesday afternoon where place would close in one hour. This place replaced Occasionally Yours. I believe there is no seating here.

I tried the chocolate chip cookies, ginger cookie, rice Krispy treat and chocolate chip scone. The chocolate chip cookies were super dry and brittle, not in a good way... The flavor was okay, lots of chocolate chips. The ginger cookie was much better than the chocolate, good flavor and the texture was good too. The scone was normal I guess, it was dense and dry. The rice Krispy treat was disappointing, it was really dry, needs more marshmallow and not as sweet as a regular rice Krispy treat which is fine but it should have been more marshmallowy/ chewy .

Small bake shop in renovated carpentry shop in a residential neighborhood. Who knew that Swarthmore would allow it since they are usually sticklers. Cinnamon buns were quite tasty. Coffee is also available. Take out only and a bit pricey

To be clear, I have had only one thing from them, the Lotus Bomb Cheesecake, and I didn't even have this at their location in Folcroft. However, not only was it so good that I will be going back to try their full catalogue of wonderful dessert puddings and other creations, but I couldn't help but give them an outstanding review. This is hands down the best....well, the best whatever this is that it actually is, because I can't really define what it is that they make here. The best way I can describe what I had would be if someone made some of the greatest cheesecake you've ever had, blended it up but not too fine, layered it into a container and topped it with perfectly baked (or fried) cookies, wafers, still not sure what they are, but don't care what they are because they are delicious, on top. I ended up with this delectable "thing" while I was working at a polling location on Election Day and my wife showed up out of the blue and handed this to me. She made an attempt to explain what it was and where she got it as if I should know about this place already and that it had recently, except that I simply stood there dumbfounded as the explanation unfolded. Obviously appreciative, as I had just been handed a dessert, I sat down and immediately experienced the pure bliss of the magic they are working over there. If you are anywhere nearby, pass by Folcroft, or live in Delco, this is DEFINITELY a place you need to stop by and grab everything they have. It is just that good. There's really nothing else I can say except how much I was blown away by this, and I'm not a huge dessert guy. Sure, I live desserts and sweet things as much as the next person, but I don't actively seek them out. However, now that I know about the Crumble Factory, I definitely will be.

I ordered the mango preach lemonade and it's was delicious. Ordered the strawberry banana pudding, my husband ate it all. lol enough said he's not really in to sweets. The Orio cookie banana pudding was delicious as well as all of the cheese cake I got. I will be a regular at this place. They can just take all of my money.

Someone came in after me stating they only had to pickup an order and the people in line said it was one line. After that a man came in stating he was picking up a DoorDash order so I told him go ahead as the orders were on a rack for pickup. Well a guy at the front of the line wasn't having it and said he needed to wait in the line like everyone else. They began arguing. Now I didn't see why he couldn't just grab his bag and go but guy up front had a problem with it and even invited him outside to fight. Now it's not that deep for two men to be getting ready to fight at a cake shop. Secondly I think nothing Bundt cakes should have had more control of how things were handled. There were 2 people working up front. One cashier could have taken orders and the other could have handle picks and door dash to keep things moving. Just my thoughts, so everyone is not congested in one space waiting. I usually go to the Ardmore location but I was in the area. The employees were pleasant but definitely someone should have been controlling the situation. The bundlet towers were great, my bundlet never disappoint. I like the cookies n cream

I am from the Chester area, and in the early Sixties I was a broadcast intern at WEEZ in Chester…read more I spent the rest of my working career in the Broadcast and Recording field. My very first recording job was while at WEEZ, to go out on a Wenesday and record a High School Band, Complete with intrerviews of the Band Director and the Principal. The tapes were then carried back to WEEZ, where they would do any clean-up editing in preparation for airing on Saturday. The program was known as "Buono Brothers High School Band of the Week" So I have Buono Brothers to thank for launching my career in Broadcastng and Recording. Later I moved on to work at Mars Broadcasting in Stamford, Cn, Where I was hired as an editor on the Dick Clark Radio Show, later being Promoted as recording engineer of the show . After that I worked several radio stations, and ended my career at RPL Recording Labs, Camden, NJ. I have many people to thank for my career. Bob Oakes who taught me everything about the business, The General Manager of WEEZ, Marty Peltzman, for hiring me as a part time intern. Bob Whitney for hiring me at Mars Broadcasting, but it was the Buono Brothers High School Band of the Week that started it all. I never met any of the Buono Brothers, to say thanks. I am now 84 years old and living in EL PASO, TEXAS, with my daughter . I am very grateful for all those who helped me, and I thank God that I was able to work in a field that I loved. Nelson A. RE: Health Issues: SHOPRITE (store #413) 1568 CHESTER PIKE, UNIT B1, DELAWARE COUNTY, EDDYSTONE, PA…read more19022 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing out of deep concern and frustration regarding a serious mold infestation at the only market serving our neighborhood. I have made several attempts to address this matter directly with the business, but those efforts have been completely ignored. There has been absolutely no regard for the health and well-being of the community -- especially those of us who suffer from allergies or other health conditions. The cost of living is already extremely high, and yet we are forced to shop in an environment that is hazardous. I now believe that my own recent illness may have been directly linked to exposure at ShopRite. I have documented this issue extensively through videos, and I am willing to provide them as evidence. I'm not sure if all the files will attach to this message, but I can provide them upon request or upload them through an alternate method if needed. I am pleading with your office(s) to take this matter seriously and act swiftly to investigate and hold this business accountable. The community deserves a clean, safe place to buy food and necessities -- not a health hazard disguised as a grocery store. Since I made several attempts to address this privately and the dangerous issues were disregarded, I publicly went on X to address the Collins family. Thank you & I hope for a speedy solution for myself & community "Our family-owned stores have been rooted in the Philadelphia area since 1995. We pride ourselves on our tradition of families serving families. In addition to operating four ShopRite stores that are known for providing fresh, high-quality foods, exceptional customer service and access to local jobs, our family also donates to groups that work to reduce hunger and end violence." -The Collins Family These photos and videos were taken at the ShopRite Market location: 1568 CHESTER PIKE, UNIT B1, DELAWARE COUNTY, EDDYSTONE, PA 19022 (e.g., store #413), owned by the Collins family. They show a disturbing and unacceptable level of neglect inside the store's refrigerated food displays. I have reported this disgraceful sanitation problem to staff multiple times -- and each time, I was ignored. My concerns have clearly fallen on deaf ears. Unbeknownst, I found mold on your product. I purchased a product from this location that had mold inside. At first, I thought it might have been a manufacturing defect -- but after seeing the condition of these refrigerators, I now know better: This is ShopRite negligence, plain and simple. This is how the Collins family -- owners of not just this store, but three other ShopRite locations -- treat the very communities who keep their business alive. Deplorable Conditions Include: Visible mold, grime, and buildup in refrigeration vents and cold-air circulation grills. Black seals and trim covered in debris -- a clear sign of chronic neglect. Rust and staining around airflow areas. Food residue and debris stuck in the vent mesh and underneath units. Unclean surfaces in direct proximity to perishable, consumable goods. Why This Is a Serious Health Hazard: Mold and bacteria are easily airborne and can contaminate nearby foods. Plastic and metal can host mold if organic material (dust, grime) and moisture are present -- and that's clearly the case here. Mold exposure can cause respiratory issues, allergic reactions, and serious illness. Certain molds produce mycotoxins and aflatoxins -- dangerous substances that can make people extremely sick, or worse, DEATH. The store's neglect is absolutely in violation of health codes and contributing to unsafe food conditions. Personal Impact: During the time I continued shopping at this store, I became sick -- and after multiple rounds of antibiotics and medical screenings, I'm starting to question: "Was I unknowingly exposed to contaminated food or mold spores in your store?" I have medical documentation to support that I suffered from respiratory illness during this time. How many others have been affected without realizing it? To the Collins Family: You've made public statements claiming to "care about the community." This says otherwise. While your own home's fridge units are likely spotless and protected, we are exposed to dangerous conditions that could cost someone their health -- or worse, their life. This is not just unacceptable -- it's shameful. MEMO TO CUSTOMERS: Start documenting. Report these stores. Take photos. File complaints. If nothing is done -- EXPOSE THEM. We deserve clean, safe environments where we shop and feed our families. If the owners won't take action, it's up to us to hold them accountable.
