We went to Bellini's in Latham as a party of six. Overall, the food wasn't bad, but it didn't really impress either. Several of us ordered the chicken parm, and while it tasted good, it came with a bit of a surprise. I order chicken parm pretty much anytime it's on a menu, so I've had a lot of versions over the years, and this was the first time I've seen it paired with a cream marinara style sauce on the ziti. It had more of a vodka sauce consistency. On its own it was fine, but it felt a little odd paired with traditional chicken parm. We all agreed it seemed like an odd pairing. Another issue was temperature. My chicken parm itself was hot, but the ziti was inconsistent, hot in the center and lukewarm, even a little cool, toward the edges of the plate. I asked the other people that had ordered it as well if it was just my plate and they said no theirs also was inconsistent. Someone in our group got the stuffed shells and said they were okay, but would have preferred a red sauce instead of the white sauce. Another person agreed with that. The pizza, on the other hand, was a good size and pretty solid. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. Our waiter was friendly and did check in, but the overall pace was slow. We were there for about two hours, and it wasn't particularly busy and we just ordered entrees and two deserts. I'd say it was more on the mild side as far as busyness. the waiter also either forgot or didn't realize that two of the entrees came with a dessert, which we had to ask about. To his credit, he apologized when it was pointed out. Dessert ended up being cannolis and a slice of cheesecake, both of which were tasty. When the bill came, we noticed the total didn't seem to add up. After asking, it turned out gratuity had been included for a party of six or more. That's on the menu in smaller print, we just missed it, so not a big deal, but something to be aware of. The restaurant itself is nice inside, and the tables are roomy, which I liked. It is pretty noisy though, and it was hard to have a conversation with people at the other end of the table. The host staff were also very pleasant. I'd probably come back and give it another shot, but this visit didn't really stand out. 3 stars earned on this particular visit.

She took care of so many tables that I honestly don't know how she did it. The restaurant is cute inside, definitely rustic. The salad was fresh, which was nice. The children parm was alright. The best part about it was definitely that it wasn't bad crispy. The pasta was from a box and unfortunately the marinara was just not good. The best thing I ate was definitely the cookie but that was most certainly outsourced from somewhere else. They don't do a real tea service with a selection of teas, neither do they offer cream or lemon. It is just a Lipton tea bag and hot water. But if that's all then, desperate times call for desperate measures.

I can't even explain how happy I am that we checked it out. Everything was a home run from walking in to a friendly environment to seriously excellent food and service. I got full on appetizers, which included the pretzels, wings and a very generous portion of cheesy dip. Those that had the French onion soup loved it. One of the specials was filet mignon served over rice and veggies. My mom ordered that and she raved about it. The chicken parm is literally the largest portion I've ever seen. It's HUGE. I tasted a small bite of it...it's the real deal. The sauce tasted like it could've come from a place near Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. My folks took home those leftovers and had at least 3-4 meals!! Dessert was yummy. I really can't fault anything here. I'll be back and we highly recommend.

The Inn has been a part of Saratoga since the mid 1840's, making it the oldest operating hotel in the City. It's within walking distance of all of the great shopping and dining in downtown Saratoga, and about a mile away from the Saratoga Springs horserace track, so the place fills up very quickly during the 6 weeks of track season during the summer months. Like a lot of outstanding brunch meals, we had unlimited drinks while wandering from one serving station to the next. I found the seafood station and loaded up on peel 'n eat shrimp, snow crab legs, and oysters. Then it was back for some salad and fresh fruit to balance out all of the protein. My Dad went straight for the waffle station, and managed to find the bacon and sausage nearby. After resting a bit I returned and snagged a slice of freshly-carved roast beef with some veggies. There was a very popular omelet station, and steam trays of scrambled eggs and breakfast sandwiches, along with smoked salmon, bagels, and all the fixins. They had a gorgeous dessert station, but I was being good so I just gave it a quick look before snagging a few more strawberries and returning to my seat. The hotel is spectacular and the restaurant is very lovely. I looked over the menu, and will plan to return on a future trip up to see my family.

We decided to go for a pizza and it was the perfect dinner for two to share, we didn't even want anything else. We ordered the brocc but asked for no tomatoes. It was delicious and cooked perfectly! I loved the balance of the garlic, bitter broccoli and the char of the crust. A quick dinner for two at less than $50 works for me! A great place to grab a bite before a night out on the town.
