For mains my guests had the fried sampler platter, broiled and cajuned shrimp and scallops, and I had the prime rib added scallops at $3 each. My prime rib was tasty and substantial but the temperature was just warm, not hot, and therefore had to be sent back. Once corrected the meal was great. Scallops were small but they gave me double the amount at the same price because of the size. The sides were mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts which were seasoned well and tasted great. Sprouts were tender but not mushy. Potatoes were tasty with a good intentional lumpiness that I appreciated. Also tried the lavender lemonade mocktail which was delicious. Decided against adding the one pound of King Crab as the market price was $99 and I can get a bag of two pounds for $70. We didn't do dessert but will next time were in the area because the slices of chocolate cake we saw were HUGE and the varieties looked scrumptious. Service was pleasant although there was a long block of time after we received our food where we were looking for the waitress so we could pay. The busser ended up pitching in. Overall, great food and service with older, living room vibe decor. Would recommend!

My fiancé loves oysters and they were phenomenal, he also had a fried seafood plate that was heaping. I had a seafood and pasta dish that was to die for. We both cleaned our plates which never happens! Highly recommend

The menu was varied and our food was very good. The best for me was the calamari; I have it very often and in several different restaurants and here it was outstanding! Crispy and tasty! I might have liked a bit more sauce with it, but I didn't think of that until the next day when I reheated my leftovers in my air fryer. I just opened a jar of Rao's and had an extended treat. A real surprise was the Kalamata Shrimp. It was good when I had it hot, but it was terrific when I had it the next day straight out of the refrigerator! A word to the chef: it would make a great cold salad! One taste and I never bothered to heat it up! We had several other dishes and they were all good. The only negative comment I must make is that the New Mexico Twist grilled chicken dish that we ordered to take out to a family member who could not accompany us was completely without chicken! A real disappointment! But, things happen.....I would recommend a visit to Pegasus! Just check your take-out order before you leave......

Talbott & Arding was chosen as our first stop on our girls' getaway journey. Tucked in the Hudson Valley, just an hour from the Berkshires, it was a sweetly energetic beginning to our day. We each chose a sandwich from the counter. My smoked salmon on focaccia was a delight. The bread, airy and light, beautifully happy yeast just bounding with lift, defying the constraints of olive oil which left my fingers gloriously glistening. I haven't had a focaccia as happy as that in a minute. Super thin radish, bright pickled shallot and fresh watercress all gave a nice vibrant touch. Ben's cream cheese couldn't possibly be creamier. And the delicate, silky, fresh, luxurious salmon... What a dream. So balanced. I filled my arms with goods- iberico salami, Aleppo chili oil, Blackstrap coffee beans, local chocolates, and an adorable Talbott & Arding puzzle. I'm sure I could have easily convinced myself to buy just about everything I laid my eyes upon. The cheese counter was an absolute work of art. It's clear that Talbott & Arding is a willing servant to the gifts of the surrounding earth and people. The homage it pays is palpable. Our stop at Talbott & Arding set the tone for an intentional, peaceful, vibrant, cozy, delicious, connected trip. I'll be back immediately.
