My group had such an awesome time--the space felt perfect and private, and everyone kept commenting on how lovely everything was. The staff were incredible--Anthony and the two others behind the counter were truly outstanding and made us feel so welcome. So this was my first time here. It is in the Work House collection of buildings in Virginia. The brewery serves breakfast in the morning and then turns to brewery which is a great concept and I wish I had time to experience their breakfast food because the Reuben and the rosemary flatbread were both phenomenal. The staff was super friendly and helpful on how to use the machines. The brewery is pet friendly, which is always a plus. It definitely is a beautiful space and the ability to sample a bunch of different beers was really appealing. You have to check it out the next time you're in Lorton! read more

Cute location in the fall, I imagine it would be even cuter in the summertime with their outdoor patio setup! We stopped by here for trivia on Thursday night. This place fills up quickly for it so if you're coming for a casual drink, plan accordingly. The setup is a little non traditional, you get a card and pour yourself and they charge you by the oz. Perfect for those who want to experiment or don't know what to get. Loved their IPA selection but wish they had some more stouts or porters. But the real star? The wings. They give you a huge portion and the quality of the wings were perfection along with the sauce. I haven't had wings that good in a long time! read more

Came on a Saturday around 2:00 and there were still tables available but it did get a lot busier later on around 3:45/4:00. My friend and I ordered the Jack the Ripper Panini ($13.99) which was spicyyyy when you bite into the jalapeño. The garlic aioli was flavorful but definitely needed the beer to help combat the greasy goodness. I added the tots to the sandwich for $5 - and they give you a decent portion! Cool concept with the beer and self service. I wish we could get samples first though without paying to see how much of what we want. I got the latte flavor of the month : churro latte and it was $7. My friend got the Mom's Garden and it was pretty good. A little steep for coffee price but...‍ It would be cool if they had a dessert menu as well- we were craving some brownie with ice cream or something haha. I have to admit that the experience wasn't quite for me. The staff were happy to answer and any questions and very informative which I really appreciated. The inside area was on the smaller side (but they have two floors). The outdoor area was pretty spacious. This would be great for a nice day. The beer itself didn't quite hit the mark for my taste. I wasn't a fan of the flavor profiles. That said, I know beer is subjective, so others might love it! The food also didn't stand out. We only ordered the flatbread, maybe something else would have been better. Additionally, I'm not a fan of pouring my own beer, and that was my oversight since I didn't check ahead. I'd much prefer the experience of having the beer poured for me, but I understand that some people enjoy the self-pour concept. If you're into trying different flavors and don't mind the self-pour style, it might be just right for you! read more

First day I had the Jack the Riper panini w/garlic aioli tater tots. I really like the triple jam fruit cider. Day two I got the buffalo wings w/ blue cheese which was pretty good and I liked the seasoned tater tots slightly more because I like tots on the crispy side. We're both fans of the automated pouring g system, where you pour the beer yourself and are charged by the amount you pour, as it's a nice way to build yr own flight, I liked the milk stout in particular; she liked the blueberry lemon sour. Sitting outside on a comfortable summer evening was the highlight. Dinner unfortunately was awful. I ordered the Reuben, and it was by far the worst Reuben I have ever had. The dressing was so thin the bread was almost dry in places. The bread was not toasted, and I never did find nor taste any sauerkraut. It was basically a big chunk of meat on dry flavorless bread. Ownership probably isn't going to take kindly to this review, but it is what it is. I'm going to be honest. Self pour is a scam. I said what I said. However... the beer is pretty good and the self pour system isn't 'as bad' as it sounds. I'll explain... We've been avoiding Bunnyman in Lorton because of the self pour concept when they opened up in Burke a few years back. My wife looked at the Lorton location website and it didn't seem to indicate it had the self pouring setup, so we gave it a shot. I audibly said "well crap" upon entering. The self pour tap system is a bit easier than meets the eye if you've never done it, but there's good reason I'm going to be giving it some sh*t in a moment. You grab a tap card at the desk and you basically just put it up to the card reader at the tap you want to draft from. The readers however leave room for error as contact isn't always precise. If you're trying to do a flight, which is how I prefer to sample different styles, you can still do it but you're using plastic cups which I LOATHE with a passion because they foam up so easily. It can be done... if you're patient. Now, if you know the right way to pour beer into a glass, you can actually make good use of your money here. See, the system runs like a taxi. If fluid is flowing, you're paying for it... and if you're good at pouring, you won't waste a penny. It's the folks who don't know what they're doing that are going to inevitably be paying more and in my opinion that's shameful on ownership. That's straight up scammy. I wouldn't be shocked if they're pumping too much gas through the kegs. Even if you wet your glasses beforehand, the beer is still very foamy. You see bartenders at breweries pouring and letting foam flow over but it doesn't matter for them. You're still paying a set price no matter how much liquid and foam they waste. That's not how it works here. Whatever comes out of that tap, you're paying for. Hope you know what you're doing and have plenty of patience. The food is okay. I don't think it's the greatest of value for portion sizes depending on what you get but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. Would I return? Yes... but it definitely would not be my first choice. But... the beer is actually pretty good! So take that for what you will. They've certainly mastered the art of the milk stout. read more

The sweet heat flat bread is a 10/10! So good! Definitely a great place for a date night or hang out with friends.

Came in when they had zero customers and she acted like we were disturbing her sitting at a table on her phone. At the end, went to return my beer card in a drop box that had 3 slots all for tipping options. Wish I could've left zero tip specifically because of her. I hosted a private event on the top level of the Lorton location and it was amazing! The staff was so helpful and attentive and I was asked several times if I needed any help setting up the decorations or re-arranging the tables. They also checked in with me multiple times throughout the night and everyone had a great time!! The beers were also great, the guests love being able to try samples of the wide selection of beer as well as seltzers, wine and ciders. There isn't incredibly kid friendly food on the menu, and our kids are pretty picky, so we brought something from home for them while we planned to order off menu (like we do at many places) and almost immediately we were approached (in a largely empty tasting room) and reminded of the no outside food rule. To his credit, he allowed it because we cited how picky they are, but the approach was a touch overbearing and immediately set us on edge. And to be fair, it is clearly posted all around the space I noticed after the fact, I just still feel it applies to adults bringing in outside food and not feeding their children. I proceeded to spend over $50 on a flatbread and a panini and a large pretzel and beer. We felt uncomfortable and just wanted to leave as soon as possible. I understand the rule, but there are many grown up and more elevated adult foods on the menu. Are you telling me that parents with younger kids eating applesauce and snacks are turned away? I LOVE visiting breweries and tap rooms that are kid friendly, but the night was a bit of a bust here. I am not opposed to going back and maybe it was just a bad night. Stopped in on Friday to start the weekend. Brewery is new to the area but we've been to the Burke location and this is an upgrade! Initial greet by staff was pleasant. We enjoyed a few beers and sat upstairs then decided to order. Cashier was helpful and placed the order which unfortunately came out incorrect. When I went back downstairs to inquire, I was met by a young, redhead female employee who immediately became confrontational in her responses to my questions. I had her come to my table to show the "Cajun tots" were plain, not seasoned and the dipping sauce was not what I ordered. She snatched them off our table and returned a short time later with the same tots now cold and sprinkled with Cajun seasoning then tossed a couple dipping sauces at us! I said thank you and sorry for the inconvenience to which I received an eye roll and about face to walk away. No one ever even came back to check on our experience despite doing so at surrounding tables; guess that means it's time to go!! Of course my cashier would be the same customer "unfriendly" employee I encountered earlier. When the payment terminal wasn't working, her assistance once again displayed her terrible disposition as she said "you can add a tip here, but you probably don't want to." I gladly accepted her advice; honestly, if you're that unhappy at your job, either quit or keep it to yourself! As I said, this is a nice, new brewery and the initial interaction with staff was pleasing, but one employee ruined our experience. It wasn't even worth my time to tell her so, we just won't be back as there are plenty of places in the area where the service makes you feel like a valued customer and the staff have great attitudes!! read more
