First time visit to Mustang Sally and we really enjoyed it! Located in a nondescript warehouse business park, the brewery is bright and comfortable inside with high ceilings, plentiful tables, and a sweet collection of pinball machines. Hubby and I shared a tasting flight of the fruit and dark beers, then settled on his Dessert First stout and my pHreak'n Out sour for pints. Paired with a delicious sampling of hot dogs, half smokes, and brats from Eugene's Sausage, our tummies were full and happy. Super friendly people, really clean place, interesting beer & bites... we will return! read more

Great beer. Usually more than one IPA on tap and since that is my "Go To", nice to have a couple choices. There "food" spot they have is amazing. If you're in the area, check this place out! read more

Spacious brewery - ample seating. Decent beer. Good partner with Eugene's Sausage and Fries. Fun space with pinball machines. However, parents of diaper wearing little humans: take note that there is no changing station inside the bathroom. read more

Stopped by Mustang Sally with a buddy on Sunday. His first visit and my first in a while. The layout has changed a bunch including different tables and chairs, pinball machines instead of Cornhole, and Eugene's Sausage stand. Very excited to see Eugene's. I skipped the flights and went with the following in order, Maggie NEIPA, Crumbs: Key lime pie sour, Gallagher: watermelon sour, and the twister Orange Julius smoothie. I really liked Maggie, would skip the Orange Julius next time. The trip was enjoyable, rain kept the crowd down, and the ladies manning the bar and Eugene's were personable and helpful. read more

3.5? An off-the-beaten-path, no frills brewery in Chantilly. I had a friend visiting from out of town and after a visit to the wonderful Air & Space Museum, we flew on over to MSB to check it out. It has a German beer garden theme with ample seating. For your enjoyment they offer a couple sets of corn hole boards as well as several old school pinball machines. There is food available, which veers slightly away from the German beer garden theme. I'm assuming the space is leased - they offer up Venezuelan cuisine. It looks delicious, but we didn't partake. I would have liked to see some 'munchie' type option(s) // chips, pretzels, peanuts and the like for those folks like myself that aren't up for a full meal but are looking for something to munch on while sipping the suds. I went for a flight, all IPA based, and honestly only liked one - maybe two altogether. Because of that I grabbed a six pack of Better Angels on my way out. read more

*** 3 1/2 Stars** We decided to stop at Mustang Sally Brewing while out running errands in Fairfax. Like many breweries in Northern Virginia, they are located in an industrial area, but not too far off 66. First of all the place is big. Plenty of space to sit, stand, and play games. They had a food truck outside but seemed flexible on folks bringing in their own food. They seem great for groups and are kid friendly. I say this because Frozen was being shown on the projector. Let it go! The current beers on tap are listed on their chalkboard menu. We decided to split a tasting of all 8 beers on tap for $16.00. On this visit, their beers included two IPAs, stouts, a wheat beer, amber lager, a Marberry and another that I can't remember. I was a fan of the Marberry (spelling) and the lager. The beers were light, refreshing, but not overpowering. Overall not bad. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The main reason this gets 3 1/2 stars is their beers. I liked less than half of the beers in the tasting. It's just a matter of preference to me. Not a bad spot overall and always happy to support local breweries. read more

This is such a fun place to hang out! The space is essentially a warehouse in an industrial park but the owners have turned it in to a really cool space. It seems to be very inclusive as well, since people bring their kids and even their pets to partake in the fun. The beer we sampled was really excellent. I especially loved the Kveik IPA. A coffee porter we tried was great as well. They also seem to have a food truck or two on hand although it was closed when we visited. The best part...pinball machines!! They have about five machines here to choose from, which makes for a lovely evening of beer sipping and pinballing. read more

Great staff, great beer, and the food option was new since our last visit and was great too! Hard to beat and will stop by any time I'm in the area read more

Cool name! Good beer! Good food caters!

*Update* Came back a second time on a Friday after work and tried the Brut the Hard Way Brut IPA. My boyfriend had the Article 1 Amber Lager. Both beers were excellent! ---- Stopped in for a quick bite after work. It's a nice large space and very clean. Tried the beef arepa and Simpsons Did It IPA. The arepa came with a delicious cilantro sauce. The beer was very good, Will have to come back and try the Brut IPA which was recommended by one of the owners. read more

Came here for a friend's party. The restaurant section is divided into an open area to host parties and then a seated area as well. ( I think the used to be free but now you got to pay to reserve). They had a great selection of beers and the food was quite good. I would really give it a 3.5 for food but a 4 for the fun factor. Casual and frieny staff with quick service. Quite a few regulars at the place. It's a little hard to find even by GPS given that they are located in an industrial area. read more

Bunnyman Brewing - Excellent place for birthday parties or any occasion thoroughly enjoyed myself. - Breweries Near Me - Chantilly, Virginia

October 2018. Three out of five. We stopped here after an event they were having earlier that morning having previously visited during a beer festival that was hosted here. We didn't get a chance to taste many of their beers previously so we decided to give it another shot. They had a number of solid if not spectacular offerings and a good size Tasting Room. While not the best brewery in the whole metro area they're certainly a good Brewery and if you live in the area it's worth visiting which is more than I can say for several of the other breweries in the area. Well there beer didn't stand out as either exceptional or experimental it was good solid beer and you could definitely spend several hours enjoying several different beers and have a great time. read more

One of my favorite NoVA breweries. They have really nice staff that explain how their beers taste, are made, and provide recommendations based off your preference which is really nice since I'm new to the craft beer scene. I would say their sours are the best. They have a new flavor called Scarlett Tartlet which tastes like summer 2021 happiness. read more

Hip community brewery with solid beer, a fun vibe & great service. Cruised out to the Air & Space museum, and as I do anytime I leave my home base area, looked for a brewery nearby on Yelp. Yelp delivered. Enjoyed hanging and trying a few offerings. Lots of options, and all I tasted were done well. Indoor & outdoor seating. The food setup inside for sale left a bit to be desired (catering style, over sterno canned heat) but the beer and vibe was enough to have a great time. Drink local! read more

A very good brewery. Wife and I enjoyed an afternoon date here yesterday and realized we could have easily brought the kids without issues. Huge wall of pinball machines. In-house restaurant (Eugene's) that specializes in killer looking hot dogs, nachos and pretzels. We tried a flight and a few pints after our tasting. Soul Skaters is a legit IPA that I will hunt down in stores. Just the right amount of hoppiness. Folk n' Around (New England Pale Ale), pHReak'n Out (Sour) and Hope Floats (Imperial IPA) were also well crafted and quite tasty. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. read more

Great local beers! A good mix of Lagers and IPA's with stouts, ambers and pilsners thrown in ya boot. I went on a Saturday afternoon/evening. They had live bands and a nice crowd. Plenty of seating and great service. Beer is good, but food is not so much... They would help their rep if they improved their food and the selection - but, you don't really go there for the food anyway. I was impressed by the crowd - lots of single women. Usually the women go to the wineries on the weekends, but this place is safe and women friendly so they show up here too... This is a great lil local brewery that has just become my home town hangout! Hidden away in a light industrial complex it isn't the place you would normally find in your pub crawls, but it is well worth your time. Good selection selection of craft beers and a very casual environment. Pinball, corn hole, live bands and friendly staff to go with that beer. What more do you need? read more

I always wanted a brewery to open up somewhat near my house and it finally happened. However, after going several times, nothing really grabbed me. I still go from time to time, especially since the beer quality has improved drastically since it first opened, but I just don't like the feel. The whole place is just a giant warehouse. Cold, cement floors, loud and echoey. And last time I was there there were kids playing soccer. Now you think I mean there was a kid like dribbling a ball. Nope they were playing like a street soccer game. Corn hole is cool, the bartenders are cool. Beer is ayite. Location is nice. they don't do food but you can order in or they have a food truck a lot. I know they do live music but I can't imagine the headache I would get with the acoustics in a warehouse. The place is really catching on in the neighborhood. They get a lot more people these days. I seriously think the fact that they have a beer truck with their logo driving around Northern Virginia really helps them out. I see it everywhere and not just in Chantilly. If they ban children and create a velvet lounge for me I will update my review. read more

Beer is great. They have a bunch of pinball machines to play. Eugenes brat is set up there for food as well.

Masks are still required even though the whole State is wide open. They need to get with the trends.

I've started going here regularly here because they host Trivia on Thursdays. We've had a lot of fun doing this as a group. They have a good selection of sours which is my favorite. It is also kid friendly which helps make it a family affair. You can order food to the brewery or bring in your own, huge plus. They have some pinball machines which are fun abs inexpensive. Also, please bring in their dogs which is fun! read more

I went with a friend and we both got flights. The beers were tasty! The atmosphere wasn't bad- very relaxed. 6/10 The bartender lady we had was super sweet. 10/10 The table we went to (all the way to the left near bathrooms ) were okay, seemed dark. The people nearest to us had two kids, one jumping and other in a stroller. I will come back and try to sit on the other side next time and try more beers! The location isn't bad but I thought odd at first like my GPS got me lost lol read more

Very good beer options but the brewery itself is way too tolerant of kids in their establishment. The children literally took over the games area that is meant not just for children, but for other paying guests. If the brewery just lets parents allow their children to run wild, it's absolutely not an establishment that I'd return to. read more

And great and spacious location with space to play some indoor cornhole, arcade-esque games and plenty of space to eat and drink! I did wish they had a larger variety of (better) tasting beers. They only had a hand full on tap and I enjoyed maybe 1-2 of them.. read more

I decided one Saturday afternoon to visit Mustang Sally Brewing (MSB). I had heard about it and seen its brews offered in local bars. MSB claims to be one of the largest and fastest growing breweries in Fairfax County. It was a cold and rainy Saturday. The brew pub was very busy and crowded. They have a considerable selection of beer choices that are listed on a chalkboard near the bar. I limited myself to a flight of five beers. The beers were good but to me none stood out. I plan to return sometime when the weather is better and I have more time to try a better variety. I would recommend MSB to craft beer enthusiasts looking to try local craft breweries. read more

My fave trivia night in Chantilly! (Thursdays at 19:00) Spacious open bar with large community tables. BYOF (bring your own food) as they only sell beer and occasionally small apps and pre-made popcorn. On some nights they do have a food truck out front, otherwise bring your own food or order delivery. Great brews, friendly staff, and nice views into the brewery. They have a big space for games (corn hole and kubb) and a few arcade/pinball games, and a semi-private dining area that can be rented out. Super clean bathrooms. Bit louder than most places but not a deal breaker. Team Trivia is Thurs at 7. read more

Who knew tucked away in Chantilly off rte 50 and Sullyfield circle/walney rd you'd find a biergarten brewery type of spot! Atmosphere is super chill and they offer a pretty good beer selection. Went here for the first time with our 17 month old on a rainy day. It was over crowded, SO happy to see no bar chairs at the bar so we don't wait to get a drink . Live music was great, having a toddler being able to bring your own food is excellent and a food truck is a bonus! Very spacious. Wasn't too thrilled that they allow the kids area to be reserved on a Saturday... but overall great experience. For families , it's all about the environment and good beer is a bonus we will def be back! read more

Breweries should be about the beer. The only beer that was made well was the amber lager. Kolsch was OK(wish it had spalt hops), grapefruit radler is really awful(to much juice), porter was flat. All 5 beers in our flight were pretty much flat. The little 5 oz glasses were filled to the rim, no head. Tried the kolsch first--flat. They were all flat. But the biggest disappointment of all, the IPA had diacetyl. Diacetyl is a buttery off flavor from fermenting at too low a temperature. It is a completely fixable problem. It wasn't a hint of butter, it was in the aroma and dominated the beer, which was flat. The service wasn't so great. 2 young women tending the bar. One wearing a pink shirt never took her nose out of her cell phone. There were a few sheets of paper taped to the wall saying "walk outs" would be charged an 18% gratuity. When we wanted to leave, which was after the first sip, neither of the bartenders were at the bar. What a great way to get a tip! Abandon the bar, then add 18% after the customer leaves. Inside the tasting room, there is an overpowering odor of fresh paint. The tables in the tasting room have rough edges and need to be sanded. You can literally get scratched and splinters from sitting there. Our table had crumbled potato chips on it. All in all, the tasting room has potential--needs decorations, but it is large. There also look to be a lot of games and things to do. I know this place has only been open a few weeks, and perhaps they were in a rush to get beer ready for sale. But the diacetyl in the IPA is unacceptable, especially for people who claim they were brewers prior to opening this place. The beer shouldn't be flat, especially the lager. If they go into a state of denial about the quality of their product, they won't be around long. But that IPA needs to be splashed, it should not be for sale. I'll check Yelp in another month. If I see reviews from people who seem like they know beer, I'll give it another try. i'm a craft beer geek and also brew my own beer. I also know that a lot of $$ is needed to start a brewery and there is a lot of pressure to start making beer to recoup the investment. But flat beer and a diacetyl IPA? read more

We had a great experience here. It was my daughters Birthday so we all decided to go here after a trip to the Air and Space museum. She has two toddlers and their were 5 adults. Between the arcade games, 2x4 Jenga and corn-hole we had a lot of fun. We tried many of the beers and almost one of each food item, no complaints on any of them. This will be a goto spot when we are back in town. read more

My first brewery experience in Northern Virginia and it was great! You can definitely tell it's brand new because there was a minimal selection. There is food also but I didn't try any of it. They only have a few tables but a lot of open space. There's also some corn hole boards. Now onto what really matters... The beer. Personally, I love hops and hate sweet. I did the flight of 4.. From least to best liked: Grapefruit Radler, Amber, Porter, and IPA I absolutely hated the Radler. It's actually just juice in disguise. I chugged it just to make it go away honestly. The amber was okay.. Nothing special about it. The porter was so good it had a coffee taste to it. The IPA is a little hoppy but not too much, wish it had more. Overall, I'm excited to see where this brewery will go. They have some new brews coming out very soon! read more

Visited a couple of weeks ago and tried the So Little Time IPA. It was much different than the IPAs I was used to drinking (DFH, Jai Lai, Deschutes) and wasn't really a fan of this beer. So glad I decided to try the East Coast IPA, delicious IPA! Much closer to what I was used to. The young lady working that night said it'd be bottled soon, glad to hear this! Went back last week and enjoyed some more East Coast. I like the atmosphere and the cornhole, but not a fan of the giant Jenga/wood blocks. Whenever they fall they come crashing down on the concrete floor; loud and startling. Looks like MS website needs to be updated as it doesn't look like it has a current listing of beers on tap. Maybe FB is better source of current info? read more
