I dined here two separate times throughout my trip. My family and I came later in the evening one night for dinner; My sandwich was pretty good and the rest of my party enjoyed their meals as well. We were in and out pretty quickly that night, I appreciated the great service. The second visit was for lunch on a rainy day. Because we're tourists, we actually entered through the wrong door which was pretty embarrassing, but they were very reassuring about it. Since it was raining, we stayed in here for quite awhile. I was very worried that we were overstaying our welcome by ordering so much stuff, but everyone in the establishment was super patient, kind, and willing to give their honest input on various beverages and entrees. read more

First time for dinner last Sunday , very hospitable staff in this bar/restaurant, many locals were dining . I chose Turkey dinner and it was wholesome and delicious and very reasonably priced . If you want a nice comfy meal , it's the place to go . read more

The food here was overpriced and pretty average. I ordered the lasagna which came with salad topped with some very gloopy coleslaw and chips. My friend ordered a very uninspired looking margherita pizza that was very likely cooked from frozen. Not horrible. Not great tonight. read more

Affordable and oh so friendly! Had a great meal that hit the spot. Staying at a local B&B and Bunker's was walking distance. The owners of the BnB recommended and it was a good choice. Meal was cooked just right (Shank of Lamb) and the beer was cold! read more

We stopped in for a quick dinner. Perfectly fine food with pleasant service. Nothing to write home about but a good option for a warm meal. Variety on the menu from fish to pizza to sandwiches and a good children's menu as well. read more

Fairly run of the mill food, we ordered a starter each: deep fried brie and vegetable spring rolls. Both were good. Quick friendly service. Reasonably priced. Absolutely terrible service! I always give this place the benefit of the doubt but every single time they mess up the order. They can't seem to manage a simple group of 4 because we all get our food at different times instead of being able to eat together. The toast always comes out way too early so it's gone cold before your breakfast eventually comes out and the chips always come out too late. The waiting time is ridiculous especially for the service you end up receiving. Probably could do with putting on more staff so all the customers get the service and attention they deserve for the prices we are expected to pay! read more

I went here on 10th August 2014 with my kids. The pub was noisy, full of drunk people. We sat down and ordered our food, it took waitress ages to get to us she was too busy chatting. After what seemed like an eternity waitress arrived with our drinks and food, it was cold. This was such a disappointing place ill never return. read more

Excellent food, friendly service. This is the real deal. I would have given them five stars but we had to wait 75 minutes for our dinner. Food was tasty and they were accommodating with our food allergies. I highly recommend the Chicken Hibernia. Great selection of beer. read more

The resturant and pub has 2 typed of settings, one is more formal/pub like while the other is more of casual coffee shop feel. I had a full irish breakfast (served until 12:30 pm) and the sat outside in front of the more casual portion. The service and food were good The ladies bathroom was recently remodeled, well lit and clean. read more

My husband and I have been in Killorglin for a week and Bunker's is one of our favorite pubs. Great food, location, easy parking in the grocery store lot, and friendly staff. They also have wifi. read more
