The woman(greeter) at the front was very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing! They had actually just closed the kitchen but a gentleman named Kaylor (K) came over and said they would make what we like on the menu. It was so kind and very accommodating because we was very hungry. We ordered Moroccan Lamb Meatballs with warm grilled pita bread, Bangkok Shrimp, Burkes Sliders which was larger than your average slider bursting with flavor. I couldn't believe how good the food was. It was a last minute find on a Friday night ,a true hidden gem. The flavor, seasonings, just each meal had a unique taste and was cooked to perfection. You could tell they use good quality meat and ingredients. They have a full bar with seating on the side of the main dining area. The cocktails were amazing. Very well blended. I had 2 drinks Malibu Bay Breeze and a Margherita. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Yummy!!!! I left there very pleased .

I can't speak for any of the other food, but I am willing to guess that it is also delicious. The restaurant is a cute casual local spot. We lucked up on parking and found a spot on the street right in from of the restaurant. It's not a large space but cozy from the moment you walk in. The ENTIRE staff were friendly, attentive, and amusing! We had to wait just a few minutes for a table. The menus are so cute and all of our questions were answered. We loved that they raved about everything. We could not go wrong! Not many places I've been have a ground chicken patty burger option so I was excited to try it. They were out of sweet potato fries but the regular fries were delish! I love a homemade fry! I'm not a spicy fan so I had the sauce on the side and after tasting it, I loved it! I risked the spice (it's really not spicy) and added it to my sandwich. Perfection! To top it all off, the strawberry lemonade was just the right amount of everything: not tart, not too sweet. It was a little pricey for lemons are but I get it when you're squeezing lemons! Kai, the owner, was great! I love a black-owned business and what he has built is sure to be there for years to come. The entire staff were amazing. The food was so memorable. When I'm in Newark again it'll be the first place I go. I gotta come back and try the pound cake. They were sold out.

I would price it at about $7- the general price of a McDonald's Big Mac. Why? Because although it's a fresher burger with some idiosyncrasies, the Big Mac is more substantial. All in all, worth a try. Plus a lot of unique items on the menu that I look forward to trying. The burgers just need plumping up. I like them and will be back. Try them.

I'd never had the bacon cheese fries before, and they definitely didn't disappoint. The fries were hot, perfectly crispy, and paired beautifully with the rich, creamy melted cheese and smoky bacon. They were easily the highlight of the meal. The staff was also incredibly friendly, which always makes the experience better when you're traveling. Next time, I'll definitely be back to try one of their burgers alongside another order of those fantastic bacon cheese fries. A great stop if you're looking for a satisfying meal before your flight.

From past bad experiences with burgers and product quality issues in many different airport restaurants, I normally don't order burgers because they are always cold, dry, tasteless, and downright horrible. But this burger from Shake Shack was surprisingly very good. I ordered from the self-serving kiosk and the wait time for my order was about 5 minutes. The entire restaurant including the counter area, dining area, and even the condiments station was all very clean and inviting. I ordered the Double Shack Burger made with two smashed angus beef patties, American cheese, and topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and Shack Sauce on a toasted potato bun, an order of fries and a 20 oz bottled drink for $24.79. A little step, but of course, all menu items are à la carte, and this is airport dining. The bun was fresh soft, and lightly toasted. The burger patties were nicely smashed, hot, juicy, the cheese melted and all the condiments were fresh, cool, and bright. This burger was prepared with care and assembled beautifully to create the perfect burger. The crinkle cut fries were perfectly cooked, lightly salted, and golden brown. This was by far the BEST airport burger and fries I have ever eaten. Date of Visit: Saturday 05-03-26 Shake Shack | Newark Liberty International Airport | Terminal A
