He even cleaned the mess that the previous crew made. I was promised the windows would take 8 weeks. At 7 weeks they were ready, but an unapologetic Hugo called to tell me that they didn't have any available installers for 4 weeks! (During the miserable August heatwave we had sun beating through our old windows and then had to wait until Sept 8). The first crew came on Sept 8th to install the new weather protection windows but the sills were wrong! We waited another 4 weeks for the sills to be replaced with the correct ones that matched our windows. The contractor explained that he had not installed the doors because they were scratched. Seeking a solution, I reached out to Orange Mirror and Glass and spoke with Mike. He informed me that the doors should have been installed and later replaced if necessary. Mike promptly scheduled an appointment to take measurements for the new doors. Once the measurements were completed, I visited the showroom to explore available options. Although I originally had two mirrored doors, Mike recommended upgrading to a set of three mirrored glass doors. He explained that this would make the doors lighter and provide easier access to the closet. I agreed with his suggestion, and Mike prepared a detailed proposal, which he sent to me via email. Later that week, I received the proposal and was pleasantly surprised by the price. Orange Mirror and Glass quoted a cost that was 50% less than what my General Contractor had charged. I promptly signed the paperwork and paid half the amount via credit card to proceed with the order. On the day of installation, Orange Mirror and Glass arrived 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment time. I appreciated their punctuality, as it is uncommon for contractors to arrive early. The team removed my old, heavy mirror doors from 1973 and installed the new frameless doors efficiently within approximately 30 minutes. Based on this positive experience, I have decided that Orange Mirror and Glass will be my preferred glass company for all future projects.

When we told him we were not certain about the style of doors for some of the items he urged us to sign the contract to take advantage of the discount and assured us we would be able to update via a change order. Nothing would be ordered until the choices were made and the change order was executed. We have done many remodeling projects over the years and change orders are standard so we had no reason to doubt his assurances. Since then he has overpromised and failed to deliver. Every time we texted or emailed to ask about the change order status he reiterated that it was with the office, everyone was aware, nothing would be ordered and the change order would be sent - tonight, tomorrow, next day...you get the picture. After weeks of waiting for the change order so we could move on the project, we tried to escalate a number of times because based on the reviews we expected better customer service. However, we were told we needed to resolve all the miscommunications and failed follow through with the salesman that had failed to follow through. Imagine our surprise when we got a text that some of the doors were ready for installation. The salesman was shocked as he had told us nothing would be ordered until the change order was signed. In an effort to salvage the project and because we wanted to believe the salesman, we allowed for partial installation. The installation was riddled with additional issues. Wrong hardware, wrong trim, no wood molding around the door. The salesman was apologetic and did not understand why there was a disconnect. After another few weeks of messages, emails and requests to escalate, we finally got confirmation that the salesperson and the director of revenue would come to our home at 2pm on 6/22. They arrived late 30 minutes late (even though my husband had made it clear he was meeting them during his lunch hour) and the director of revenue was defensive and put all blame on the misrepresentations made by their salesman on us. During the meeting the salesman told him that the remaining doors had not been ordered. After that meeting the company STILL had the salesman follow up to ask how we wanted to proceed. He was embarrassed at that point because he was telling us the company would be able to address our concerns and they hung him out to dry. Even though it wasn't our fault, in an effort to put this nightmare behind us and NEVER deal with them again, after a few exchanges with the director of revenue, we agreed to a resolution provided they completed the project by today. No response for over a week until this afternoon when they basically said 'thanks for agreeing to letting us do what we haven't done but keep bending over backwards so we can do it in our terms'. @owner of the company you should step in sooner and not wait for the online reviews to try justifying the experience. For all those that posted 1 star reviews in the last year we should talk about options. Based on your experiences I can tell is not the individual players. It's the company.
