They never provided the info. Called again to try to get a quote to replace some siding. Left multiple messages and never got a call back. I guess maybe they're just too busy to take on jobs. Just now I about got ran off the road by one of their trucks and it reminded me of this awful company. My partner requested an estimate from these Jokers a couple years ago for a rental house. We had Bull Mountain Roofing replace our wood shingled roof and they did our exterior paint. First the roof, we were so happy with it. Pulling off wood shingled original roof was quite a project, and when they were done you would have never known this was such a project. Their clean up was amazing. They came highly recommended from two friends, and their bid came in the lowest. We have since recommended them to several people. Second, the exterior paint. They did an excellent job. They spent so much time prepping, we love the new fresh look of our exterior. I even had them come replace wallpapered walls with texture and paint in our interior. Keep looking. Horrible experience with Bull Mountain. They charged $198 to come out and estimate work on our roof without bothering to get up on the roof. By skipping that they missed important detail like pipe aluminum, ridge caps, channel work, etc. What was more infuriating was I had to point out where we needed the leak repaired! If you're going to work with them, make sure you specify and agree to the terms of their $198 estimate fee, insisting that they will get up on your roof before you agree to pay them. The check they "returned" mentioned below was one they sent from one of their old accounts. It bounced costing another $15 service fee! Talk to other roofers in Portland. Hector and his crew replaced my roof and gutters over a year ago. They did a great job. They cleaned up after the work. Barely a trace of the work they were doing. This winter, I called Hector to tell him that my brand new gutters were clogged and I was worried there was something wrong. I did not want to replace my gutters. I have had various jobs done by different contractors over my 78 year life. I would rate the previous as 5 star contractors and have never given a bad review until now. We had a reroof on a 50 year old house. When Bull Mt. had completed the job and left; my wife and I picked up 34 nails from the concrete driveway at the front of the garage. Also we found numerous nails around the outside of the house. There were many nails and staples protruding through the soffits around the house. Two of the fascia boards were replaced; however several others were in bad condition and should have been replaced. The flashing did not extend to the gutter in some areas; therefore water would go behind the gutter. My wife and I were at this rental house most of the time while work was being done. We were not able to discuss progress with the crew because the work crew did not appear to have a good grasp of English. My wife who watched the progress with me said this was a very unprofessional job. read more

So impressed! When giving me an estimate, he video'd my attic space & when he was on the roof, to show any damage. Luckily there were no leaks. He also went over how they lay the shingles and space the nails...as well as the air vents they use. My roof was over 25-years old. In less than an hour, Hector sent me an estimate & the video so I could see for myself. In addition he sent multiple addresses of the jobs they've done & 6 pages of reviews. I did get another estimate & Hector was $6,000 less. I don't always go with the least expensive, but so so impressed with my experience with Bull Mountain, I decided to take a chance. Boy am I glad I did! My roof has a lot of peaks & valleys & is very pitched, so a bit more difficult than average. Hector was really responsive to my questions via text. The guys were here on time each day - took 3 days - and cleaned up each day. I've found a few small pieces of old shingle & a couple nails, but really not worth mentioning. Signed a contract with Bull Mountain roofing to replace our cedar roof with a new comp roof. They agreed to do the work 2 months later in Sept. of 2017. September passed and no word, October passed and still nothing. We called and were now told we would have to wait until the Spring. We were told they would send someone out to patch the spots that might leak through the rainy winter. No one ever came and no communication from company. Called today in middle of Feb., owner Hector was angry that I was frustrated and after calling his guys told me they can no longer do the job. This was 8 months later!! They have video of how installing is getting done and this why decided to pick them as our installer and they did exactly the same as what shown on the video.
