Tony and his family owned business are amazing. We called them to organize the garage and pressure wash the floor. What we thought would take one and a half days and was quoted took 6 hours. I had ordered a shelving unit and plastic bins with labels ahead of time, which really helped with efficiency. They separated and hauled away the trash. We thought this would be a painful and emotional process but they made it so easy and pleasant. Tony came back the next day and did the pressure washing and it looks amazing. He moved everything out of the way and even got behind the freezer. Every detail was addressed. I highly recommend them. Make sure you call them. I was moving from one apartment unit to another unit in the same building. So I didn't need a truck, but did need two movers who knew what they were doing and their dollies. I knew the move itself wouldn't take long but didn't quite know how long. After talking with 8 movers Bulky was the only one that didn't have a 3 or 4 hour minimum. There was no way I was going to hire a traditional moving company with a 3 hour minimum but have the job only take 2. And not a single mover would waive the minimum or lower it to 1 hour. It was mildly ridiculous how rigid they were. Bulky was solid, one of the best moving experiences I ever had. Excellent communication before and during. A+ hustle. Easy to pay afterwards via Square. Great attitudes. The entire moving industry has adopted this rigid, non-customer centric attitude. Movers are chronically late, chronically bad communicators, and unwilling to work with customers on pricing. The fact that almost all movers that quoted me wanted to charge 10% surcharge for using a credit card tells you everything you need to know about how most movers think about being customer-centric. We've been using Tony as our Handyman for over a year now and he's been absolutely spectacular. He really can pretty much do it all - Sink installation, fixing/installing doors, laying astroturf, fixing gas/water heater, fixing icemakers, junk removal, landscaping, installing locks, molding and backsplash tilling, you name it. I first requested service from Tony and his team to move some furniture from my third floor down to my first, prior to an upcoming move. I wanted to sell furniture, so pretty straight forward. I was quoted about 3 hours. They showed up early, eager, friendly and professional- loved it. Respectful of my home, asked questions and a walk through to ensure it was to my expectation. WOW. These guys literally busted it out in about half that time. They were careful, professional and literally said "hey we have a three hour minimum, what else can we do to help you out today?" . So we got a lot else done. So much so, that I booked them again. Second visit- they helped me packed and prepare, organize for my 2,000 mile move. A lot of boxes and chaos..but Super efficient, detailed, they communicate their vision to execute but are always open to customers feedback and needs. Trust me, listen to them.
