I just used this company last week, and they were AMAZING! My dad had a house that was left vacant for several years, and it was (embarrassingly) dirty and REALLY gross. Gary and his team (Christina and Chris) did an incredible job, turning the place from yucky to beautiful in 2 days. It had a musty smell, but after they were done, the place smelled great (for the first time ever). I was getting the house ready to rent out, and Gary's vast experience helped me tremendously on how to fix some of the issues they came across in an extremely cost-effective manner. He knew exactly what to expect with houses in Redondo Beach (for example, did you know that there is a mold that grows on the back of those louvered closet doors - ewww - Gary cleaned those by hand)! Gary also went above and beyond for me; he even helped me fix some issues with my toilets! His team thoroughly cleaned all of the windows, sills and hand-removed all light fixtures, cleaning everything. They were extremely detailed with the cleaning - they were even able to remove this terrible stuck on green shelf paper in the kitchen drawers (after he did some research on the best way to remove it)! The toilet from 1957 looked like it was just purchased yesterday - it was so clean! He gave me a really reasonable price, too - he will bid the worse case for the job, and if they can do the job in less time, he charges you less. Gary and his team were all such nice people - I highly recommend that if you have a vacant home that needs serious deep cleaning, go with Specialized Cleaning Services! Gary and his crew are very thorough and professional. I use them for a periodic whole-house cleaning, as they get to all of the nooks and crannies that my regular housekeeper misses. I'm talking ceiling fan blades, corners of the highest ceilings, move the furniture and get all the dust bunnies cleaning. Gary is very pleasant to work with, and he must be a good employer as well, because unlike other services I have tried, his staff, who are all pleasant as well, does not turn over all the time. It's amazing how much dirt and grime you can dig up from a "clean" house! Gary buffed out the hard water stains in the shower, got the dust under my couches, cleaned my window screens and even got the calcium deposits out of the toilets. Gary and his team did an excellent job on a few days' notice, due to a family emergency we encountered. Our two-level, three-bedroom apartment was totally out of control, and Gary and his team worked on a weekend on short notice and did an excellent job very quickly. 4 hours later, we had a house that looked and smelled amazing! The staff are very friendly, respectful, and professional, and we felt totally comfortable with them in our home. This service is not the least expensive out there, but the cleaning products are green and safe (we have a child with allergies and sensitivities, so that's a HUGE plus for our household), and he pays his staff a liveable wage--we appreciate both issues. You get what you pay for, and this service is worth it. Gary is also easy to deal with and excellent about follow-through and communication on the phone and in-person.
